And other then that, use ragers. Granted on some bosses they aren't necessary, but some of them they help out A LOT on. A lot of dungeoneering comes from practice. Sure, you can read all of the guides you want and those certainly help, but there is nothing better then going out and doing it. Are you trying to find teams on the dg worlds? Like 77 or 148? You could try dg clans like dung mates or dg squires to start off with. It's some variation of those names, and I can't remember if those are friends chats vs real clans or not, but as far as I know they don't require any application stuff. It's also important to note and recognize where you want to go concerning your dg knowledge. Are you content being an average dger? Someone who is a gd slave and knows how to lay a personal gate? Or do you want to become a keybag and have the gt stapled to your ass? There's a wide range of skill, all requiring differing amounts of commitment to learning.

I think you're addicted to Runescape if you do any of the following: A: Pay for membership. So, because I spend $5 a month to unlock 95% of the game, I'm addicted? I'm not really following your logic. How can paying for something qualify someone to be addicted? I understand that I pay $5 a month for something that's not needed, but I don't need internet services, phone bills, a car, etc., yet I pay for all of those too? Does that mean I'm addicted to checking my school work, calling my friends and family, and getting to and from school?

There's a huge difference between an "efficiency monger" and "using what is best." Choosing to pick something inferior just because you don't like who supports it is..... childish.

I would assume that in max mage gear it would be best for all of them. The problem is that doing this comes with a huge price tag. Since it's likely only marginally better, the price tag is not worth. Note that this comes from an opinion, in now way is this from any sort of research.

It's luck based. It took me about 7 hours to get it, which I think is high (bad luck).

1. 60k-80k, increasing as you level. 2. If you don't care about ticking off floors, its best to do floor one and do the majority of the boss. If you get to the end, you can guesstimate from the amount of rooms, keys, etc. (This comes with experience) Ragequit, ie leave the floor, and quickly start up a new floor. In this way its faster to skip the boss entirely (once again, not ticking off floors) then to do it. Xp/hr ranges from 60k too 100k. This xp/hr increases dramatically as you level. If you are serious about this and wish to hinder your dg skills, bind cosmics to be able to gate key doors. 3. Shilo: 50k Monk: 30k Rocktail: ~45k (having the call of the sea aura helps with this quite a bit) I got 91 solely for the elite task too. I did a mix of c2ing (I ticked off floors) and barb, since at that level the xp/hr is similar.

Dungeoneering: It sucks at low levels. If you despise it, don't ever actually train it untill level 50 or something (not sure on a good number). The xp rates are pathetic at the low levels. If you like it, by all means go for it, but if you don't like it don't force yourself. To level it instead, use all free xp on it. Things like penguins, tears of guthix, quest rewards, random lamps, etc. They never got around to make it solo friendly; it'ts best by far to do it in teams. C1 your lowest floors (gonna call it half and half, but once again, not sure on the best number) and then find a team for the later floors, preferbly 5:5 large, etc. To find teams I highly recommend finding competent friends (or dg clans at later levels) to go with, because the themed worlds (117, 77, 148 ordered in skill level) suck, especially 117/77. But if you are forced to do the themed worlds, make sure to put some time aside, they take on average 30 minutes to an hour plus to do.

Do you still prayer switch much with that setup? Not trying to hijack a thread or anything, but glacors have been an interest, but just haven't been able to get a handle on them. You will always prayer switch at glacors. Always. Doesn't matter the setup. For a shield use anything that gives magic attack bonuses. When you get good at glacors, the damage from the acutal glacor should be minimal and the glactyes are easy enough. Safespot if you need to. An arcane would work but that's really overkill, your book should be fine. While glacors are most effective with dg items, as you can see they aren't necessary. I would advise to try to get some in your free time. I would have no idea what to get first though, likely a rapier for glacytes, but then again without overloads...

You say the AOW guides are out of date, but so are you. If you want to be updated you need to dg and do some minigames. Don't bash something when you don't even have it. For equipment, Jeremy's suggestions are fine. Of course you won't be using (i) though.

You can roll with whatever troops you want really, scouts are just the easiest to kill and rangers are easiest to use. The whole factor of getting rank comes with how many turns the game goes. If I remember right there has to be 7 turns (from one person I think, so 14 total. Don't quote me on that.) to gain rank.

What people don't seem to realize it that at lower levels its supposed to take longer to make money. Don't think that it should just be given to you; you need to work for it. I worked for it back in the day, and honestly my methods of making money don't apply now. I did slayer, gathered sellable shit, a bunch of stuff that really doesn't work now. Hell I camped blue dragons for days on end in the Hero's guild basement. Obviously that doesn't work anymore. Life for mid/low high levels is tough right now, 'cause anything that's made specifically for them can easily be used by the high level players. In other words, good luck. I'll throw out two things: Dailies: Such as battlestaffs, unfinished broad arrows, and runes. Rune runs as in going to the mages guild and buying fires, earths, and deaths. I also go to the pest control and buy those (1.3m/hr as of yesterday) and the mage bank thing in the wild (2.1m/hr as of yesterday). Note that the profit will fluctuate incredibly, but it should always be a profit, and it only takes like 3 minutes to do both of those shops. I needed two others for a p2h the other day so I went to the 3bo world (67). Just advertise p2h hunt join and leave +_. As long as you can get the floor setting to what you need they can just leave. Meaning you have to start the floor and then they can run. Doesn't matter, when I did it the two people I got stuck around and helped and even went on my second try after the first was the wrong boss.
