1. They usually had a diff multiplier for summoning. Forgot what it was, like 1.2x or something I would assume the cap still applies, but it's not stated if it is or not. So, I guess we can hope for confirmation.
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DoEci_p75c&feature=plcp Well I for one found this very helpful. Hopefully you all can learn from it too!
3. "- Allows for a better determination of a player's committment to the game." There is a substantial difference between commitment and enjoyment. Commitment is already measured. To keep my completionist cape I have to do every half assed quest and piece of content they introduce in the game now. It's not hard to mass produce content just to see if your players are "commited." On the flip side it's extrememely difficult to create content that people actually continually playing after release day. Not because they have to, but because they want to. That is what Jagex needs to be focusing on now, and quite frankly, they are doing a horrible job of it.
4. There was a recent update to the god wars dungeon, and each boss (including nex) has some new armor. Since you have 80 range you can cross off arma, and bandos is still packed with crashers, so that leaves zammy and sara, both of which were given great new armor pieces. Assuming you have decent gear (not just chaotics, I mean bandos and such too), it's best to do both of those two bosses in small teams (~2-3 people at zammy, maybe 3-4 at sara). Mechanics of the bosses have not changed. I'd advise looking at this http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/God_Wars_Dungeon/Rewards to get a feel for the new drops. DKs are still good, TDs have lost their appeal (claws are a low price), Glacors are still amusing.
5.
Sell Dung Rank first pic (close eh?) and first 2s3l after the rank.
6. Scrolled up a bit, what pleasently surprised.
7. He's asking because you shouldn't be attacking anything with a defensive or accurate style. You lose a huge chunk of dps from the berserker ring. But whatever floats your boat.
8. Took 7 tries, the last was a significant improvement. Partly in thanks to skill, and a huge thank you goes out to vampyrism. Considered making a cool signature, but no thanks.
9. For barbarian fishing you have to do the mini quest thing, which you can look up yourself. I suggest either setting up a ahk script to drop the fish or just low alch each one. Bring a couple granite lobsters and urns for some extra xp. This is not as fast as C2ing, but I guess it's an option to mix things up. Your plan looks great, and the skills listed aren't related too much that your order doesn't really matter. Max cape doesn't require 120 dg, comp cape however does. If you're going for comp cape then you have some other problems.
10. By looking at the current GE prices, if you were to sell them I'd say sell as a clean herb. However, the prices of grimy, clean, and unf potins fluctuate a lot, so if you do go the selling route make sure you're getting the most out of your herb. In my opinion you should use the ranarrs to make prayer potions yourself. Using this (RSWiki) link, and taking your current herblore level into account, making prayer potions is among your best options. There are cheaper alternatives, but when considering their secondaries (and how some are just plain difficult to get) and how you already have the ranarrs in hand, I believe prayer potions come out ahead. When deciding this I went back and forth and didn't really know what to look for. It's just important to stay up to date on the prices before you decide. Also note that the linked calculator has a scroll of cleansing section, which you may or may not have and which will change the gp/xp.
11. YEEEESSSS. After 9 tries at this son of a [bleep], he's mine. Jads were a pain in the ass. And what do i do with all of the pots?
12. Tried doing youtube tags, didn't want to invest too much time into it. If you have 20 minutes to spare, this video explaines everything quite well. And there we go.
13. Gwasha replied to Piu's topic in Help and Advice
I'm not sure how well the xp/hr compares, but isn't catching (and then releasing) orange salamanders decent xp?
14. I've heard of the others, but how is dominion tower good xp? What's the setup?
15. Gwasha was killed. And to contribute to Runespan:
16. After testing it out and gaining some levels, I can definately see this as being my favorite and best update of 2012. Thanks Jagex.
17. Yes, but they actually don't scale as much as one would think. It's only a few runs difference in level gains, from like 98->99 then as 90->91.
18. It would be far more helpful if you could explain why hard followers should only be done on hard paths before you say things like that, you know. Presumably it's because the xp reward for completion outweighs the extra time taken to do the task, but then again you're running the risk of having your follower killed. What Meredith said and to counter, it's not hard to keep the follower alive. If he got a snail on him (or whatever monster) and was taking heavy damage, all I did was attack the said snail and it went on me instead.
19. Easy and medium followers on the easy or med path, and when they can see ahead, go to the path so that they can attack shit. Essentially you want the easy and med followers to be able to fight as much stuff as possible, so in a sense it would be mediums. Personally, I never did hard paths until they were able to see ahead and I saw it was something quick. The risk of a swamp boat, the morrttn place, [bleep]ing shit tons of snails, just sucks. Then for the hard followers blast through the easy paths until they can see ahead, and pick the desired path from there.
20. I feel that a big part of why the Chaos tunnels water fiends are so bad ass because of the use of steel/iron titans. I'm not sure it's worth it without them. Otherwise, give it a shot. I'm sure you can survive, it just depends on how long you can make the trips.
