I've gotten one, but I'm fine with it. F2P is fun enough that I can live with both the "shake yo booty" ads and the "Arcanists! Fun!" ads. (lol, really. My popup was a picture of a big butt wearing a skimpy bathing suit. Isn't this supposed to be a kids' game?

You should join a clan like GUILDS, we're always looking for new members. #-o No really, it's great fun and there's always someone in the CC. If you're bored, just Clan Chat Grim_Jokes and introduce yourself. If you don't feel like making that sort of commitment, then find something you really like, like giving free stuff to n33bs (really cheap stuff, like iron armor. It's great fun), skilling, bounty hunter-ing, clan wars-ing, anything.

If Runescape shut down, I would quit. It's just too much of a time-waster. Alternately, if Tip.It or GUILDS shut down, I would quit.

F2pers arent poor -.- . Most choose not to buy p2p as they want to get past the skills you can easily train in f2p, eg woodcut/firemaking. Then they get p2p. Also, some arent allowed to buy p2p, and many others dont want to buy p2p, as they've progressed s much in f2p, that it'd be a shame getting p2p and ruining their 100% f2p status. I am F2P for that very reason. Actually, I can't find anyone to do Shield of Arrav with anymore...but maybe that's because I only go to quiet worlds.

Paint.NET has a better user interface, but it's just not good enough for me. GIMP has a crappy interface...(stupid boxes) but has really good tools. I would say go with GIMP because if you want tutorials, you can just go to GIMPtalk. It kinda eliminates Paint.NET's learning curve edge.

I think that's the worst part of GIMP. But there are addons (buggy ones) that combine all the windows together. Linux is actually pretty good...NOT a valid comprehension. Yah, I know this is off-topic. :o Nadril! You bad boy! But your point is valid. If GIMP wasn't around, I would probably use a pirated version of Photoshop. =\

Hurg. I can play piano and I'm in the process of learning alto sax. I get my braces off in like a year or two.

FOR DUMMIES BOOKS FTW! :thumbup: My father actually programs in Java for a living, and I'm trying to learn how to do so from books, but the attempt is stagnating. Compiler for Java = NetBeans IDE 6.1. Fast, free, and free. I listen to metal, rock, and sometimes electronic. Everything with a strong beat. Except rap.

Heck yes! Of course, Photoshop has it's good parts, but GIMP is free! You can't say better than that. :thumbsup:

The render makes my head hurt a bit, the light seems to fall across Stewie wrong. And the background is too simple. Maybe more variation in brushes? (The background does look like a render, actually, I dunno if one color is good.) The avatar has bad text; the font is too simple and the color is light blue. The "Dr Paul Leet" is almost unreadable. And the 'fubol' in the corner is, I think, a bit too big. Read tutorial on Gimptalk plox? Here, this tutorial helped me a lot when I first started, even though I'm still extremely new.
