small addition to the feud quest guide
I would agree...the amount of people that could possibly (even if it were in that 25%) use the ring before completing that quest would be so small, it wouldn't merit a mention. Not only that, if they CAN use the ring, then they already know about it because they'd have to be pretty advanced to be able to have that high a combat level to talk to sumona to even buy a ring with 30 points, and have already travelled several times to Polly to complete Smoking Kills (if that's even possible before the Feud).

Wilderness teleports
The new Wilderness teleport south of Edgeville's bank could be mentioned in 'Getting Around' near or in the same paragraph as the Ardougne lever. On non-BH worlds, it takes you one way to the lever in the deep wilderness...the switch does not "remember" where you came from in the wilderness (yet, at least). It only takes you to back to Ardougne. In the same way, this is a cheap teleport to the gate at East and West Ardougne...once to the wilderness from Edgeville, then a pull in the wilderness to get to Ardougne. From Ardougne, you can only go there and back. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=getting_around.htm#others

I noticed an interesting animation when burning Vyrewatch corpses my last trip down to the Columbarium. Each 50 you burn, you earn more "skill" with the Ivandis flail, but it comes upon you like a tongue of fire. I tried to capture it in a picture, but without animation, it loses a little of the special flair. [hide=150 Vyrewatch killed][/hide] While burning the corpses and setting the poor souls free, I reached level 71 Prayer. Not really a big deal. Usually, I am more interested in the rewards, but usually, the rewards are better than this latest killing expedition... I 'flash' Prayer on and off, which lets me stay for 20 or so at a time, but it's a lot of clicking and otherwise, it would be a lot of Prayer potions (well, mixes). I'll probably look into a minigame I haven't tried or something else to "waste" a little time until the next Jagex update. I may have to stop acknowledging my readers so often, but until it gets out of hand, I'll continue to do so... Thanks! I think mine is definitely different from what I've seen out there, but then again, it seems like everyone has put their own special spin on their gaming experiences (including you, in your blog). Thanks for the well wishes and kind words! Thanks so much! I love hearing such nice stuff! Thanks for reading and coming back so often!

vyrewatch
No, it just gives more xp. Feel free to just use maple. Is that from a reliable source? I've heard otherwise...

New text limits for Signatures discussion
Do the Tip.It provided Dynamic signatures count as images or only outside images posted in signatures?
-
New text limits for Signatures discussion
As long as there's no more than 4 lines of text then the signature is fine. Even if you have for example an image that is only 100x100 pixels you'd still only be allowed 4 lines of text as well. This doesn't include/cover signatures without images, correct?

Swedishboy7's blog! Going for all skills 80+!
You have an interesting way of presenting your blog. It was nice to be able to read all about it on one page. It must take a lot of work to maintain it. Good luck on your goals! I was wondering why you would level up with all Deaths? Are they more profitable than Bloods?

New text limits for Signatures discussion
Would it be safe to say then, that image + text examples that do not exceed DarkDude's could not possibly be removed (since it has an image and two/three lines of text)?

Shadow of the Storm
You definitely need more than one...I think it's three minimum.

I got another piece of Guthix prayer boosting gear thanks to a Treasure Trail clue while on a Jungle horror Slayer task... [hide=Treasure Trails, June 26th][/hide] It means another point of prayer protection while fighting Vyrewatch, which might also be on the list of things to try killing in the near future. I decided to finally set my mind to training Hunter the rest of the way from 63 to 66. Actually, once I saw how quickly the first level went and how easy it was to bank my captures, I decided to go the rest of the way. I also got more than 7k a trip for the critters I was selling. I managed to train a little fletching at the same time, making arrow shafts which stacked and also sold quickly on the Grand Exchange. I definitely think I made the most of my time. I broke up a bit of the monotony with a trip to an Evil Magic Tree and met two nice gamers who gave me some pointers and made the chopping go by much more pleasantly. I also earned so much experience that I increased a level to 83 in Woodcutting. Since it's nothing special, I decided not to snap a picture. Actually, I did snap a picture, but I was busy editing my goals and task lists and forgot about it until it was too late. In any event, I did reach level 66 in Hunter and can now wear the Spottier cape which relegates my Spotted cape to a permanent place on the Magic cape rack in my POH. I need to come up with a couple of new goals, since Magic and Firemaking are so far from completion. I might think about adding some to the list in the next week, but I don't think I have to make any decisions until it comes time to put my Penguin Hide & Seek points to use. I'll still be visiting the Circus each week and Juna in the Tears of Guthix cave (where points still go toward Summoning). I'll get back to Slayer soon (Kurasks) and will probably advance a level in Prayer before long and as soon as Attack and Strength tick over to 80, that will be my final sub-80 combat skill. Exciting!

Best hunter gear for salamanders?
What's the best gear to wear when hunting salamanders? Swamp lizards - in Morytania, the swampy area... Orange salamanders - probably desert camo, right? Red salamanders - it's near the ZMI (Ourania), so it's not exactly any kind of gear I can tell (wood? Larupia?) Black salamanders - in the wild, so...anything? I've worn different camos and gear, but I haven't hunted them enough to really tell what's making a difference. It would be easier if they were actually in one type of habitat (like the desert ones, I guess).

Circus Points Submission Thread
It wasn't the trouble recording as much as I was trying something different, since I think I read something about doing what they ask getting bonus points. I was trying to make my results as easy to decipher as possible. If my results are helping, I'm glad! I've been trying to check to see if there's any new information on this thread and the other one, so if there's something you'd like me to try wearing or a specific emote you're looking for, I can try it. As it is, I have the same rotation almost every week with a few exceptions, but that's more for ease in recording than anything.

Do magic logs sell at minimum price?
absolutely they do...if i were you, I wouldn't sell them at the low price...if i were me (which I am), I'd say, sell them to me at the low price... i don't know how much you're selling, but I know of at least one person currently buying up as many as they can to train high level fletching (yews getting boring for him) I would never first try selling at low price...ever...for anything...heck, I can get 8 gp for spare buckets lying around...why sell them for 4 when you can get 8? same principle with the logs.

the lightest to the heaviest weapons
Requires ammo...

the lightest to the heaviest weapons
Anyone know what the lightest weapon is (that doesn't require ammo)? What about heaviest? I noticed there wasn't a way to sort by weight. I'd kind of like the ability to do so (so I'm not completely empty-handed). If I could sort by weight, I could go from the lightest and see what would give me the most "bang for the weight" so-to-speak. EDIT: there does appear to be a way to sort items in advanced search by less than a certain weight and category weapon, but it's in alphabetical order, not by weight when searched

how to get to canifis??
I'm not sure if you'd be able to get past with a high agility level, but somewhere in the 60s agility-wise and you can get past the fence just south of that church and east of the first beacon.

Crafting/fletch guide Corrections
Note: this is my personal opinion, so this could be contradicted by other crewbies. This also isn't our official policy. I'd say, wait a week. I picked a week because it gives us some time to update most of the new content, but it also allows us to notice things which have slipped under our radar in a reasonable time. This was indeed something we've missed, so it's certainly helpful you reported this. I'll make sure it'll be fixed soon! One more thing: of course the waiting a week policy isn't a fixed thing. Huge updates, like a whole new skill, obviously take a little longer. I stand corrected. I did see a post similar to this almost right after an update (maybe the day of the update) and noticed a mention like this one.

TokTz-Ket-Dill
In that case, then yes...it's pretty redundant to state it twice, but some people might need the extra reminder. It's always left up to the crew in the end. I think guides are harder (take more care) to edit than the site, so we'll see.

Amulet of Farming, note
That's true...but if I were playing for a long time, I could watch it by planting it at the beginning of a session instead of at the end when I log out.

TokTz-Ket-Dill
Since a note already exists and a pickaxe is necessary, adding it to suggested items MIGHT not be a bad idea, though it does seem a little redundant. It would seem that the only real problem a person would have would be if they brought a really weak pickaxe for fear of losing a good one. A change to that one suggested items box doesn't sound like the end of the world, but it just shows how many people don't read things through before starting.
