Quest Walkthrough Edit: Observatory Quest
It is in different places for different people. So far, I've only heard of it being in one of two places, but still...the map should probably be changed to reflect it. The key was where Tip.It suggested for ME, but several others like you have said it's in a different place. Several other guides on different sites say that the spot is different for everyone. As far as the picture is concerned, in order to post one here, you must first upload it to a hosting site (like imageshack or a site like that) and then copy down the code for it's location. Paste it here in a message and then make sure that it appears something like: [hide=MY IMAGE][img=http://www.imageshack.com/yourimage456.jpg][/hide] You don't NEED the hide tags before and after, but I find it more courteous to do it that way, especially in the case of large images. I hope that helps.

Evil Tree rewards
I seem to remember some people claiming that 2 minutes was the minimum for the rewards, but no one provided a picture for proof. It was generally accepted as fact (and updated into the guide), but here's the proof... [hide=2 minutes][/hide]

Summoing Guide Update
It's the one I linked to in a previous post...

Happens to the best... ...also, sometimes Jagex makes changes that make the guides incorrect. It's always good to check.

Random Event Picture
It's a beautiful picture, but I see one on their random events guide already. The guide can be found here: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=random_events.htm and is accessed from the general guides page here: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=general_guides.htm Welcome to Tip.It!

Land of goblins questhelp needed.
If you were following Tip.It's guide and you finished everything up to steps 11 and 12, then you should be able to run through all the options with Aggie and find one that works where she'll tell you about the slimy eel.

Crystal bow or diamond(e) for faster ahrim kill?
I thought only the accuracy went down with the charges? Straight from the KB: I still think it's better than rune crossbow and broad bolts, but only until it gets to the 6/10 or 5/10 steps, I guess. That's an estimate. I haven't done any studies, but I don't care to. Personal experience has shown me it hits harder...for me.

Runecrafting Pouches.
Good point...it is only two more essence, but it's still more experience at the cost of seconds, unless your bank is a mess or you're just not quick with clicking.

question: freemy diary [new question]
I think I followed the arctic pyre ship directions carefully to make sure I did it in the "non-glitch spot" but I did use mangled bones for that task...reason being, I was scared to death of Mithril Dragons. I followed a now-defunct guide on fighting Mithrils and did very well, though I was scared and truthfully, still get a little nervous, I know they're not impossible. Simply take your best range boosting gear that you can and don't forget prayer potions (5), a ranging potion (1), and antifire potions (2). Great one-bite food, a home teleport tab (really important in my opinion), and if you're just killing one of them and have Ava's Accumulator, you'll only need 25 diamond (e) and 25 ruby (e) bolts (but take about a hundred of each if you're trying to kill more than one on a trip) with a rune crossbow and the anti-dragonfire shield. I had an Amulet of glory, Ring of wealth, snakeskin boots, black [bleep]y vambs, and black d'hide chaps and black d'hide armour. Get close to the dragon when shooting them and use that protect from melee prayer and don't forget that while you're using the ruby bolts, you don't necessarily want to try to keep your health at max. Switch from the ruby (e) bolts to the diamonds when you have one down to less than half health. Use your potions wisely, and the antifire one when you get through the waterfall to make the run through the brutal green dragons with your prayer on at that time and of course your antifire shield on at all times. You should be able to kill one at almost any respectable level. It is a hard task, but I no longer think of them as impossible.

Runecrafting Pouches.
Are you going for speed or maximizing your experience? 3 more essence might not seem like much, but it adds up and you're only saving a few seconds which might add up to a minute over the course of an hours' worth of runs. It just depends on what you're trying for...

No problem. I wasn't chastizing ya...just confused. That was a clever way to figure it out...

Summoing Guide Update
I don't see the pet care guide anymore, but I did find it... http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=kitten_care.htm. There is a notation about death costing you a pet follower there. I also noticed that there isn't any mention in that guide about the cat toy thing (mouse toy) that looks like a whip when you're carrying it. The guide might have been taken away because it might not be easy to keep up-to-date anymore. Still, since the summoning guide does mention pets and followers, it should either link to that other guide or include the information there redundantly, in my opinion. It can be found here http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=mini_games.htm as Pet Care Huh...I would have thought it would be under general guides, since there doesn't seem to be much minigame to the pet care process. Thank you for the redirect... The 'cat toy' thing is the mouse toy you get for completing a certain quest.

Crystal bow or diamond(e) for faster ahrim kill?
A crystal bow means no shield, but a fully charged bow is definitely stronger.

Prayer points do get lowered, but...special energy bar? How did you measure that? Did you have a summoned familiar and looked at the bar there? What special energy bar?

poh house location
Once you get the ability to craft a Ring of slaying, that location is no longer necessary...don't forget.

poh house location
you actually dont need all the requirments, you need to have done fairy tale pt 1 and get as far as you will be instructed how to use the fairy rings Fair enough, but it's never good to leave things unfinished. :wall: It is if you can start the quest for access but don't have the herblore level needed to finish the quest, as was the case when I started the quest a long time ago. Those rings are life-savers!

King's Ransom Knight Waves - Hally Safespot!
If you've already done Knight Waves, I don't think you can do it again. I think it will just allow you to use Piety when you get to level 70 prayer, if that's what you're speaking of. Like I mentioned...I did this a couple of weeks ago. I sincerely doubt that this "safe spot" was one of the ones removed. All it would take is one person who hasn't finished the waves to go in and try hiding between dummies (if they're still there). In fact, I would urge people not to post here again unless they've actually done this quest since the "update" (which wasn't completely true, since Jagex removed some "safe spots" but left others, like in Desert Treasure). I've done it recently, but not since that update. Posting with further speculation isn't necessary...is it?

That's the perfect reason...

King's Ransom Knight Waves - Hally Safespot!
It does work, because I used it. I didn't have to start over. If there are still dummies in the room (and they haven't been removed) then it's still possible.

You're right, but I think it's beyond that...it's piggybacking the post for credit, or so it seems. I wasn't posting looking for credit, just supporting your original one...I'm not sure that's always the case...

swordfish gloves + sc harpoons
My guess is that if it did stack, it would be that way. It wouldn't double the extra 100 experience, but the harpoon would double the experience and then the game would add the 100 from the gloves.

I believe you have forgotten to mention that when you operate the different prayer books and use on the four passages from the prayer book this will also cost you some of your special attack. If you don't have enough special attack bar you cannot simply use any of the passages from any of the prayer books I think you can usually perform 5-7 passages from the book on full special attack bar before it runs out therefore you needing to wait for the bar to increase again. He may have, but I didn't.

Lastest Twitter hint?
I'd like to see a new balloon destination (Oo'glog with Eucalyptus logs needed), the "crash practice" gnome to finally learn how to land so it can be two-way, and maybe round out the fairy ring teleports by using up the "blank" combinations. I'd settle for rearranging some of the teleports on the current jewelry or adding destinations. As for the other stuff...a creepy pet cemetary?

Game-engine Improvements by Andrew 11-Jun-2009
Some of the weirdest stuff changed, like it seems more difficult to open some banks "on the run" and plotting out your running is just awful. I think they need to reimplement the old stuff and think a little more about how to keep some of the stuff the same. They were making things that were stupidly inconvenient easier and less repetitive and now it seems like they're saying it was all unintentional and that now with the new system, it's somehow better? Don't we, the gamers, determine that for ourselves? There's a fine line between giving us challenging content and giving us what we what. I think I'd rather save on carpal tunnel syndrome treatments than deal with the game the way "Jagex intended", as it were....
