  1. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=2 Yep...the long and curved bones are drops for that guy. Good construction experience if you're at level 30 construction (I think that's what it is...) and you take them to that one guy in Dorgesh-Kaan.
  2. Bear with me, because I can't speak for anyone, but looking at the map, I would guess that it's an old one (from before Summoning was released...not even that old!) and that they'll probably end up adding this to a long list of map changes. Perhaps a crew member will end up moving this into the Map & Calculators sub-forum and hide the picture? Nice catch! I haven't been down there in a long time.
  3. But nothing about art. I'm fairly sure no one would care, so I'll make one in BlogScape, I'm just wondering about the future. archimage_a said something about the Gallery for art. If it's for your art, I would think you'd post in the Gallery. If it's a blog about your art, probably Off-Topic.
  4. Perhaps your thread "ticked" over? Each piece is usually good for a couple of normal items. Even still, your suggestion is pretty good, since other people might have the same trouble (if my thinking is even correct on that matter). There is a bank in that city, but some people might not carry the extra thread in their bank (like I do).
  5. There actually IS a fairy ring teleport (the DIS) one, but it's in the wrong place! The fairy ring teleport on that map incorrectly appears a little north-west of where it should, which is indeed south of the Wizard's Tower. Instead it appears somewhere south of the bank, near the shore and the summoning obelisk. So, the location IS there, but it's NOT in the right place. Nice catch folks!
  6. I am not a moderator (obviously), but if you're having trouble and the topic needs to be "bumped" you could always find something related to the original topic to say and reply to the original topic as a way of "bumping" it yourself...or even post that you haven't seen the topic get much interest lately and that you wonder what your clan might do to get the original topic re-started. None of those are just writing "bump", but they do get your topic back near the top while you wait for your leader to come back...just a suggestion.
  7. Hehe  , have fun and to bank just bring a Games Necklace to teleport to the Barbarian Outpost and deposit items there and run back to the waterfall. I think Fire Giants are a good place to train. I went from 60 to 70 there... I'd suggest training your Slayer skill at the same time if you could...range anything that you can and just keep racking up the experience that way (and if you've done Smoking Kills, the points).
  8. Doesn't the guy provide them for you? Erjolf?
  9. Yep...I think there is also a sapphire in the wilderness near spiders...you can mine them in Shilo Village...or buy them from players on the G.E. if a player needs them.
  10. The crew would probably be the ones to ask for pictures if they needed them, so don't worry. I was just referring to myself, not you. I don't have them. Maybe I should try though... As far as the signature is concerned... Up near the top of the page should be a bar with stuff that says how many new messages you have, chat, FAQ, Search, Members, User Control Panel, and Logout. Click on User Control Panel, then look on the left for where it says Overview (and a couple of choices), Profile, Board Preferences, Private Messages, Usergroups, and Friends & Foes. Click on Profile, then on Edit Signature. If you want to include a cool Tip.It signature or goal, they provide a link on the main page under Tools called Signatures and this should help you with directions, straight from the Tip.It staff!
  11. So it has...the new quest! Thanks! (and I've decided to be patient about the robes stuff since I haven't got a single piece of any of the sets, nor do I have any of the naval gear I posted about on the other thread, so I can't be much help finding pictures for them)
  12. It might be that the game clock "ticks" over in the middle of your battle. Sometimes I get 7 fruit from a tree or 5 berries from a bush for this reason. Since monsters can regenerate their HP slowly, it's possible that the game clock ticked over immediately after your first strike and before your second (or third). Also, your link took me to the Hill Giant, but Chaos Druid is probably the entry you're talking about, since it's got 20 HP...right?

  14. I don't know if anyone wants people to take world map pictures of places those trees show up, but here is one that was "near the guild of Legend's" or whatever the exact wording of that clue says: [hide=Legend's Guild Evil Tree][/hide] I know there is one that appears slightly north-east of the location I'm at in this picture, too (though I don't have a picture, the one I'm speaking of is closer to the Yew grove, south of the flax field and beehives). [Crew edit: pics have been added for all locations, and all other things in this topic have been added, so this topic is being locked. If there is something we've missed please start a new topic. Thanks to all who helped!]
  15. This week's trip to Tears of Guthix put points into Construction, which raised me to level 57. I haven't done anything with the skill in quite some time, but perhaps I'm due for a few levels, an upgrade to a Teak telescope for my study, some unlimited teleporting with my POH portal chamber. I'm not excited at the prospect of training it, but not completely turned off by it. Penguin Hide & Seek points went into Prayer once again and it should be two or three more weeks before reaching the 70 plateau. I can't see training it too hard after reaching that level, because I will tackle Knight Waves and several Achievement Diary entries after getting to 70. There isn't too much waiting after that level and before 99 to cause me to worry too much about it other than burying the bones I come across. Circus...I mixed things up and went for a megaphone, that curiously seems to be missing from my rewards. I thought I had the circus costumes completed, but for some reason, I never got the megaphone for the Ringmaster set (I think that's where it belongs). I thought I had collected all the high rewards first, then "threw" competitions for the lower stuff...it turns out I was missing something. I bought some rune bolts to help Tip.It with data for a calculator. I'm not sure if it turned a profit, but I took out 20 blue dragons, tanned the hides and made them into blue d'hide bodies, grinded the bones, and high alched the drops and ended up with more than 39k and some prayer experience from an investment of little over 36k and 40 minutes of time. Bronze Dragons are my latest Slayer task (curses Chaldear!) and though I haven't had them in a long time, it's not too annoying when there are only 50 of them. I think if I ever came across 100 or so Steel Dragons, I'd have to 'blacklist' them for sure. Right now, that's the only point to my Slayer point collection...saving them for permanent bans. I'm close to another level in Agility, Ranging, Runecrafting, and Summoning. I'm not terribly interested in training anything right now, so it looks like Slayer has gone from my least favorite skill to my most often trained...by default really. It's better to have a purpose to training my melee skills than to randomly kill things. I'm sure I'll mix in some Firemaking and Woodcutting training in with the usual Farming run and see if I can't do some more research on the Website Updates & Corrections forums. I like confirming information there for people...it makes me feel useful!
  16. Level 75 ranging - 23 max hit Level 76 ranging - 23 max hit This doesn't really have to do with the calc, but... Just for kicks, I bought 50 rune bolts and managed to kill 20 blue dragons collecting 20 blue dragonhides and 20 dragon bones and with the alchemy and coin collection, just over 2k in gold. Easily more than 100 strikes from a purchase of 36k, but it's not exactly a cost effective way of training ranging. If you're gonna use 'em, might as well get some cash from it, right? On another note, I got stuck with Black Dragons for a Slayer task (less than 50 of them) and got 3 clue scrolls...all with rune bolts in the rewards...so I was able to do some research on them, too.
  17. It's in the "general" section of the Website Updates & Corrections forum http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=186&t=791089 and I see this one, too http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=186&t=783006 so perhaps a moderator or crew member will be able to blend/merge all these topics together?
  18. By taking a quick looking at the world map, I can confirm that's the case!
  19. As a fellow Tip.It user, I can tell you that there is a 99% chance one of the crew has seen it and is looking into it. There are a lot of submissions they have to look through. I'm submitted tons of stuff and sometimes it's weeks before it gets sorted through...sometimes hours! Try not to stress out! :)
  20. I found it in one place, but not in the "Search" section. I found it in the "Riddles" section http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=treasure_trails.htm#riddles but since it is a search clue (and you provided a picture), the crew will probably add it and credit you...don't quote me on it! :)
  21. No problem! I noticed that nothing had changed for a little while so I went and confirmed the information for you (I've seen posts by crew where mentions about pictures or confirmations are helpful to them, so I've confirmed your information!). Both of your observations are correct! It IS Dark Warriors' Fortress (in the wilderness) and there don't appear to be boxes anywhere in that whole Bandit Camp in the desert...only crates! Hopefully, this will allow the crew to work on those items for you...and give us credit, too!
  22. I haven't yet done the circus this week (Varrock), but as I did last time, I'll take detailed notes on the tricks and experience as well as the points afterward, to include data on worn costumes during emotes (most likely will be none).
  23. It has been a little more than a week, so I think another update is in order. As usual, Penguin Hide & Seek and Tears of Guthix and an Evil Tree and even a Shooting Star deep in the wilderness. While advancing a Slayer level, I received a set of clues which led to some lucrative Treasure Trails rewards. [hide=Treasure Trail Rewards!][/hide] Not only did I advance another level in Slayer, but I also reached the 1000 point milestone, which allowed me to purchase the final "skill" from the Slayer Masters. [hide=I can fletch broad arrows and bolts!][/hide] I have yet to fletch any broad arrows or bolts, but since those are equivalent to adamant arrows, I wonder if I'll worry about picking up the odd steel arrow anymore. I plan on working a little on construction this week, just to make sure that Tears of Guthix points continue to flow into my one untrained skill...Summoning. I may also work on the Hunter skill and try to inch closer to level 70 in Prayer, though I'll be relying heavily on the points from the Penguin Hide & Seek minigame for the next few weeks until I can reach that level. After that, I'll start putting the points back into Herblore or Runecrafting, possibly alternating week after week. Firemaking is one of my least favorite skills to train, but I may start training it with a couple of loads of logs a day, just to spread out the unenviable task of getting that skill into the 90s. Sooner or later I'll have to fish for another 1000 monkfish to use as my main food source and train Agility and Thieving for some additional access. I may try and cross off a few more Achievement Diary tasks with the aid of stat boosters and may actually finish off a quest! I'm just trying to stay busy and interested in the game!
