  1. It's also reported that you can get them from caskets while fishing or from Managing Thy Kingdom. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be an all-inclusive list or not. It very well could be...or maybe just to point out that there are ways other than combat to get clue scrolls. They do a great job of monitoring these forums, so I'm sure they'll get to it and answer it eventually. Good catch!
  2. There was a lot of gibberish in there, but the things I took out of it were that there WILL be a Dragon pickaxe and that the Dragon (woodcutting) axe is definitely 5-10% better than the rune axe.
  3. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=186&t=785804 or just: [hide=New Sandwich Lady selection screen][/hide]
  4. When I attempt this quest, I'll try and confirm. I have not done it yet...but I don't really need to do this quest at the moment. It will simply wait until then or sooner if someone confirms before me!
  5. It was just an example to help get you to the site so you'd see what I meant. 3rkid went above and beyond to include the elements from the page. Hope we could help!
  6. Sorry, I meant that the key was where it is indicated on the map when I did it!
  7. Sandwich Lady Random event gift, the mystery box selection, and the mystery gift (mithril scimmy). I should mention that you get to keep not just the Random event gift, but also the food item she tells you to choose. [hide=Random event gift/mystery box selection/mithril scimmy][/hide]
  8. I received a random event for the Sandwich Lady while walking to the Grand Exchange shortcut entrance from the Edgeville Bank. I was whisked away to her new shop. [hide=Sandwich Lady Welcoming Her "Customer"][/hide] She offered me a triangle sandwich. [hide=New Sandwich Lady selection screen][/hide] She let me go after making the correct selection. [hide=Additional Dialogue][/hide] Which portal? The only one in the room, of course? Instead of the screen fading to black (like the Captain Arrav event), you are "teleported" back to your previous spot (if you choose correctly) and the animation looks like a teleport spell. In addition, you unlock a new song on your first visit to her shop. [hide=Using the Portal (and a new song unlocked)][/hide] I KNOW these images are large and some probably unnecessary. I thought I'd be thorough and let the crew use what it wanted and pass over what it didn't need. I think I could make a nice mini-guide out of this by itself, but perhaps that's not what the crew wants for the website.
  9. The following post also has pictures of the Captain Arrav event. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=186&t=785601
  10. I'm pretty sure the key was where it was indicated on the map - otherwise I would probably have submitted a correction. Perhaps it is in a different place for different people OR they've changed the location in the last couple of months.
  11. It's under the Treasure Trails guide, but not listed word-for-word. It's listed in a different format, such as: Crate, Draynor Manor --- Crate, top floor of Draynor Manor, near Professor Oddenstein from the Ernest the Chicken quest. Check the "SEARCH" section of the guide, toward the bottom.
  12. I don't see why more screen shots could hurt. Here's a Captain Arrav Random event gift being chosen as a Mystery Box. I'm starting to think the mystery box might be a bad choice. [hide=Arrav Mystery Box][/hide]
  13. Your PICKAXE?
  14. I received a random event for Captain Arrav while checking the health of a willow tree in Varrock. I was whisked away to an island for the event. [hide=Arrav's Island][/hide] He gave me the opportunity to open a chest for some treasure. [hide=Dialogue][/hide] Once I chose to participate, I was presented with a familiar interface, but instead of matching each row to a certain image, all three rows had to line up (like a slot machine) and my solution was a golden bowl. [hide=Arrav's chest lock interface and rest of the dialogue][/hide] It should be noted that before or after you solve the puzzle, you can take advantage of a bank deposit box on the island! [hide=Arrav's Island Bank Deposit][/hide] All that is left to do is to step into the portal to be whisked back to the spot you were standing when Arrav came calling. [hide=Stepping into the portal][/hide] I KNOW these images are large and some probably unnecessary. I thought I'd be thorough and let the crew use what it wanted and pass over what it didn't need. I think I could make a nice mini-guide out of this by itself, but perhaps that's not what the crew wants for the website.
  15. This week I set a new personal best in my Tears of Guthix trip. It could have been even better had I not been too click-happy toward the end. I had a total as high as 167, but several mistakes dropped it down to 163. [hide=I'm down with ToG (Yeah you know me!)][/hide] It bumped me to level 54 Summoning, which is not far off of my first Summoning goal. I by no means will be training it or placing extra experience in that skill, but soon I may have to train another skill or else Tears of Guthix will be putting experience into something like Hunter or Construction! This week I resumed my trip to the circus. With some great help from crew members and fellow users (in documenting the experience gained from taking part), I realized it's just as important to visit the circus as it is to find ten penguins and visit Juna each week. In fact, my Ranging level was helped out and I'm not far from additional levels in Magic and Agility. I don't train those last two skills outright much anymore, so the added experience is tremendously helpful. During a Jelly Slayer task, I reached a big milestone in combat: [hide=Combat Centurion][/hide] It should allow me to visit Duradel and cross another Karamja Achievement Diary task off the list. I'm a little afraid of how tough that task might be (PLEASE don't let it be Steel Dragons!), but I will finish my current Shadow Warriors task from Chaldear and then head to Shilo Village. Hopefully I can find a nice group of folks that will let me become the Champion in the Fight Caves and kill enough waves of creatures to kill a Ket-zek to finish off the gloves. If I get a metal dragons task from Duradel, I'll try a Mithril Dragon first...try to finish off the Fremennik Achievement Diary first while also taking on a lion before taking down a tiger. In the meantime, no new goals or existing goals have been crossed off. I still haven't even seen an Evil Tree, let alone take part in battling one. I hope to have some more exciting news soon, but in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy my new combat level!
  16. I know a lot of people have trouble finding them with that Ctrl-F since Tip.It's guide doesn't list those clues exactly. Things to be searched are listed in a format such as: Crate, Draynor Manor or Crate, East Ardougne. Both of your clues are there, just not typed in word-for-word. I think I read some thread that the crew is looking for pictures of them, I think because so many people have that same problem. Those clues are currently in the guide and the link at the top for search jumps you toward the bottom like this: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=treasure_trails.htm#search2
  17. It may be time to clean up this thread again...for those of us looking to help, some of the information you're looking for might be out-of-date, missing, or need some other updating. You could also clean up non-topic posts (even this one!).
  18. Your best bet....write down some of the ones you are missing and check it against the database. Some might be quests, some are probably just a matter of walking in the right place. Without seeing your list, it's pretty hard to give advice on the subject...for any of us!
  19. I had posted some of those kinds of images here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=186&t=784902
  20. It doesn't imply that it's harder. It implies that it must be undertaken by an experienced player. Since you need a high smithing level (and it's one of the most recent quests I've done and I have 260 QP), I'd say it IS an experienced level quest. It all depends on how you define that word, and it looks like that's how Jagex has defined it.
  21. I got a Freaky Forrester event and chose the mystery box. Cabbage. [hide=Freaky Forrester Random event gift choices][/hide]
  22. I know it used to be a random event, but I heard from some that it was found in Brimhaven, so I was curious whether it was wandering around or still only a random event.
  23. Is there a strange plant with strange fruit wandering around Brimhaven or is it a random event that only takes place there? If I wanted some strange fruit (the purple, eggplant-y looking things), what would be the respawn rate for it?
  24. I posted before, but had forgotten about this...someone reminded me of it. I can't believe this isn't being researched more. It seems like it's something that provides a ton of experience for a little bit of time. It's a little confusing, but this is a great start. It appears that wearing costumes has NO effect on your experience and neither do successful emotes...so just visiting quickly and performing the correct kinds of events looks like it will get me the experience I want...which is better than getting dressed up, remembering which emotes I need to do and so on.
  25. Right...I don't care about points...I want the experience. So, perform the hardest ones and don't repeat, EVEN IF IT IS NOT SUCCESSFUL or can I repeat those things that my character fails at? Also, do emotes help with experience or just points? If it's JUST points, then I'll skip them, because, as I mentioned, I don't care about those any longer (unless they come out with new costume items). One more thing just popped into my head...does wearing the costume pieces affect experience at all or JUST the points?
