    We're not there yet. 9 2^9 = 512

Wait. No. Post the next number in the integer sequence. We're going up the n's 6 2^6 = 64
  3. The goal of this game is to post a larger real number than the previous poster. Infinity is not a number. Even if it were, there's still an infinite amount of infinities, each larger than the last, so it doesn't help us in this thread anyway. So, again, only real numbers. I'll start: Planck's constant
  4. Forgetting to add your own response. No better way to kill a topic. Automatic updates restarting your computer immediately after you've started it up for the first time in a day, or while you're working on something
  5. The goal of this game is to post a smaller real number than the previous poster. For this purpose, smaller means closer to 0, not closer to negative infinity. So 0.5 is smaller than -100 for the purposes of this thread. All numbers must be real. I'll start: Graham's number

Oh. No, the format is n 2^n Sorry for the confusion. 4 16

To keep this thread up wth the Fibonacci, I'm posting the next post too(2) 2 4

In this game, we post powers of 2. Please use the next power of 2, don't skip. I want to compare how quickly this grows vs the Fibonacci sequence thread. To play, post first the next integer in the sequence, then 2^that integer. Aka n 2^n 1 2
  9. In this game, we post the Fibonacci Sequence. Aka, add the values from the previous *2* posts together to make the value of your post. Starting with what's clearly the right place to start this sequence: 0 Okay guys, but like, you understand this is a bad thread, right? This was kindof a joke where I'd make a bunch of bad threads that were just variations of the counting game, and they would be just as boring as the count to 30k game, and just as redundant as the count down from 10k game. And yet, people continue to post in this stupid ass thread. Like. [bleep]. This is a bad thread guys. Play in the good forum games, ffs.

Most video games don't portray women in hyper sexualized ways. Nor contain sex or violence. The vast majority of all games are aimed at the casual market (mainly moble) where women make up a large percentage of the playerbase. I think your referring to most AAA games designed for consoles which are marketed towards teenage boys and young adult men who by and large want that in their content. Just like not all novels are hypersexualized but you may think so if you only look at romance novels or pop music instead of all music. That's fair, I suppose. I did not really consider mobile games.

I mean, if you're insinuating my personal thoughts/opinions, I have huge problems with what is essentially a requirement to have violence in video games and to reward behavior which is, irl, socially unacceptable, aka theft and murder. And, like, neither of us have empirical information to draw from, so who knows how society feels about violence and sexualization in video games. It very much feels to me that video games are dominated by people who don't have a problem with it, though clearly your thoughts differ here. I present as my case the prevalence of violent video games and the hyper sexualization of women in most games that they even appear in. I don't think the prevalent gaming community is in the corner that you paint them in with that post. If you're just trying to say that society is kind of shitty with its emphasise on violence and non consensual sexual imagery/actions, then yes, I agree.

How much would you pay for an interesting topic? You must post the next highest integer from the previous poster. The currency is up to you. I would pay $1 for an interesting topic.

Things don't have to be physical to be unwantedly sexual.
  16. I did, in fact, but only because I had to look it up to make that post. Did you know that hot chocolate is delicious? If you didn't, you need to get on that, stat.
  17. I'm level 99 leveling. I've wasted my life
  18. Eh, no, it's apparently fairly safe. It's not smart to post on forums at work while waiting for your boss to come by because
  19. You know you're 8 years old when you're posting in the counting threads
  20. Oh boy was it fun All that damn gas!!!! Break it down!!!

Keep going until December when the elections are over? This is a very temporary problem...Damn you look that literallyOkay, well, it was either that or the like office politics. But my friend just got done with a politics section in her teaching practicum with high school students, and that wasn't a fun experience for her, so it wasn't entirely baseless.
