  15. There is corrupted sectors or something else happened to make the OS not boot right. NEVER unplug the power! Try putting your windows XP disc in and repair the OS if that doesn't work i am afraid to say you are looking at reinstalling the OS. I have had this happen on one of my computers before i just reinstall the OS as it in my case is the fastest way. Clare might have some good input on this.

  17. 1. Don't care which one you buy. 2. Professional is for a business or at least that is what they designed it for. Home premium is for home. 5. Yes you would just use a boot loader which comes with linux on the install ISO. Most distros use GRUB. You can also run several distros and windows under a boot loader. 6. I personally like to run Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE.
