Go to your nvidia control panel and make your duals as one desktop. That is the only way i can think to do it.

Last time this happen to me i put a new drive in my PSP and that didn't work. I ended up downgrading to 1.5 and back up and it worked again. Upgrade the the latest version know after like 3.1 FW is where it fixed alot of UMD issues.

I would just assume you do but i am not sure on how old your computer is. I would try formatting the drive if you haven't and there is no important information. Notice that formating does wipe it.
