What I was talking about was the comparison between RS and real life. I was saying that if you didn't want to be part of society, then your house is where you can go be alone. But if you want to do things in public, you have the responsibility of acknowledging the existence of others. I think that setting private to friends all the time is like ignoring people on the streets IRL. Its the virtual equivilant of someone approaching you and asking for directions, and then you just ignore what theyre saying and keep on walking. Except that there is another option on RS- public chat. Setting that to friends/off would be like ignoring people on the streets. Private chat really is more like a phone, in that it is (generally speaking; not always with phones but in most cases) a 1-on-1 conversation with nobody really listening in, unless they want to hear only one side of it. This.

Here's my list: 1) Half-Life Series - Brilliant Story, Graphics, just wow. 2) Portal Series - Mind bending puzzles & physic, most memorable antagonist - GLaDOS (learned almost all her quotes off by heart <3:) and the Companion Cube. 3) Left 4 Dead Series - Brilliant Co-operative gameplay and minus the L4D2 Characters - brilliant vocals and memorable quotes. 4) Team Fortress 2 - Best updated Online VS FPS? 5) Garrys Mod - I've had (ongoing) hours of fun in this Sandbox - Boomette Stripper Bar anyone? 6) Battlefield: BC2 - BFBC2 > MW2 kthx 7) Pokemon R/B/Y/G/S/C/HG/SS (AND ONLY THOSE ONES D:<) - Nostalgiaaa~ I don't like G3/4 btw (if you couldn't tell) 8) Viva Pinata Series (exempt Party Animals) - Calming, Relaxing game that I enjoyed completing. 9) Katamari Series - Quirky, Action game that I enjoyed (mainly cause its a Weaboo's dream come true) 10) Mario Kart Series - No reason tbh, just an enjoyable Racer

Personally, I fail to see how having an option set to someone's preference is 'lame'. I want my private chat set to friends because I want it to be like that. As for your 'points': 1) No. Have you ever thought that maybe people aren't sociable and like to keep themselves to themselves? 2) I've never, in the 3 years I've played, been sent a PM asking for help (I had private set to 'On' for 2 of those years). People who want help post it in public chat so, instead of one person seeing it in a PM, a whole range of players can see their request. 3) ...seriously? 4) In my case, if they were my *really* good friends I'd have them on my Skype or MSN. If I delete anyone, its because I didn't like them or I know for a fact they've quit. If they rejoin, then its too bad. This is the virtual world - I doubt you have had such a good relationship that going to go meet the IRL, unless of course your extremely close (in which case relates to my point on Skype/MSN). Also, I see no sort of mention of attempted hackers in the OP. I had an plethora of impersonators with their really bad hacking attempts. Thats also another thing I, and about all the other 'arrogant and lame' players, want to avoid. Bloom wasnt added with todays update, but they added the required software to run Bloom I think. I still believe however, that the Milk Tooth Creature has Bloom Lighting. Took some pictures to see what people think. That's not bloom. Thats EXTREME BRIGHTNESS, HELL YEAH. AFAIK It's been patched and all items outside of Daemonheim have been removed. You could also not interact with the objects, for example you couldn't wield/attack with it etc. Not sure on that, but that's all I know.

With the minimum age, they already outlawed a large bulk of the Runescape community. So maybe it's supposed to be a kind-of exclusive event? Even if, who is stupid enough to pay seventy-five pounds to see about 2 mintues worth of exclusive items, then go and get pissed? Not me.

Are they stupid? £75? They should be glad if we paid £5. Anime Expo's are cheaper then that. That is extremely pathetic, and I don't think anyone will be turning up. It'll be Jagex all alone with like 2 cases of beer. What a stupid move to make. If they knew HOW to correctly make funds add-up, they would price the tickets at around £5-15 and increase the prices of food, drinks etc. That's how the Anime Expo's work.
