Sigh. I was dissapointed that the entire hour was dedicated to crap like ESPN working for Kinect. There was a half hour of actual games, then the rest was just all... crap. I'm sorry, but should the time come... I'm going to quit the Wii60.

Nowhere did I say that you are an idiot should you spend money. I believe you read it wrong. I wrote "certainly everyone who wears clothes like that is not a money-spending idiot". So, in layman's terms, I said no one who wears clothes like that is an idiot.

I want that XBox... No I NEED that XBox. I WAS TECHNICALLY THE AUDIENCE I SHOULD GET ONE TOO Also, no Valve gala CANCELLATION. I was very dissappointed.

I've been making quite a home in Off-Topic recently, its rather weird D: But I'm posting here for a proper reason: Well, in school, we just finished a debate. Now I'd like to take that further and bring it you the community of Tip.It. So here's the motion: This house believes that the Conservative idea of two months National Citizen Service should become compulsory. For the negatives, I put the following: Its compulsory, so all children will have to do it which is a breach of their free will for something that is not really a legal nesseccisty. It cuts into time they could be using to revise or socialize (socializion being important in growing up to make sure children are acclimatized to functioning in the real world as opposed to how to do forced labor). It may expose teenagers to more danger than they would be exposed to in the first place because its complusory meaning that the violent ones'll get stuck with the good ones and of course the whole thing'll just end up like misfits. The Tories pledged to divert £50 million of funding from community cohesion programmes to pay for pilot schemes in the first two years. About 10,000 youngsters would graduate in the first year with another 30,000 the year after. For the positives, I put the following: It would provide 16 year olds with certain experiences, such as helping out in the community etc. It would give the 16 year olds something to do over the Summer Holidays. This leads to greater things such as keeping them out of trouble, and harm's way. If I may be bold enough to say, it can even lead to less crime's linked to 16 year olds due to the fact their free time would be eaten away by the service. It is an instance of having to do a service to other people - a valuable idea for teenagers aiming for a Enforcement-styled career. It ended with no direct answer, but I still feel that the negatives outweighed the positives. So what's your opinion? That just reminded me... One of the key arguments against the X360 is that if you move it whilst in use the disc gets a 'halo' (large circle scratch). I've dropped my 360 from upright to lying a few times all with discs in it and I've never experienced a halo. I've just noticed alot of the arguments aginst the X360 are either extremely rare happenings or just plain myths.

Yeah pretty much. From the Wii Remote (PS3Wand) to Achievements (Trophies) I've not experienced RROD's besides the almost compulsory start up one. What annoys me is when people say "XBOX IS CRAP CAUSE IT HAS RROD LOLOLOLOL" when they don't realize that the PS3 has the Yellow light of death. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying you said that :P

Honest to God... this again? Most of the time the argument is in favour of personal preference. Do you want my two cents? I'll copypasta what I said off another forum [hide=Don't flame me. This is just MY personal preference. I don't care if you like PS3 more.] It is cheaper, and has roughly the same memory capacity as the PS3. The PS3 has ridiculous amounts of memory, that I doubt anyone will use up. The graphics, 8 out of 10 times, are better than PS3. Most of the time, the PS3 games are ports which means the graphics are worse - a prime example of this is Fallout 3. The Xbox has a massive, friendly community. The Xbox also allows people to access community videos, Inside XBox videos, Staff Videos, Facebook, Twitter and recently Sky Player and even 1 vs 100 - with real prizes! The Xbox's home screen is alot more friendly than the PS3's and is alot more simpler. There are better 360 exclusives. Want some proof? All games Valve has made - L4D, L4D2, Portal, HL1/2 etc. Enough said (Yes they are PC and Yes TOB is out for PS3, but TF2 is mainly played on PC, HL2:EP2 makes no sense if you've not played HL1, 2 and EP1. The only good game there is Portal). PS3 Home was a desperate failure to bring the community together. The Xbox has alot to do on simply the Home Screen, sometimes more than games have! The Xbox has a community named the 'XNA' community. They are simple gamers which are training their game developing skills via a Microsoft Kit called the XNA Creators Kit, and the games they make can be uploaded to the XBox itself, for all it's players to play! The XBox has alot more online support than the PS3. The PS3's game systems are far to complex. Xbox is a simple coding system which gives developers more flexibility. They should stop dilly-dallying and just released a graphically-improved Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. THOSE were the good sonic games =P~ I don't know. This game still looks bad. I'll give it until E3 and until I see gameplay videos to make a judgement to it though. But a theme park that is run by Robotnik that is in space, and has 7 rainbow coloured aliens in it... :mellow: I totally agree with you there. But I don't think it was the technology. I loved SA1/2 because of its brilliant story, characters, levels... just everything about those two games... Who here who completed SA2 was totally in love with the level with the gravity changing blocks (near the end where Robotnik kidnaps Amy). Back then... I don't know. Robotnik seemed evil. He had evil plans. Now its all "LOLOL CHAOS EMERALDS LOLOL OH CRAP I FORGOT TO LOCK THE GIANT DOOR AND NOW SONIC IS DEFEATING MY ARMY ROBOTS THAT HAVE MINIGUNS ON ITS ARMS I AM GOING TO DIE".
