But Jagex also claims they have sophisticated means to detect macroing. I don't think that randoms are as needed with the supposed destruction of bots and RWT. I realize that they will probably not get rid of the randoms, but maybe they could revamp the rewards toward your level. Seriously, getting the sandwich lady in the middle of training combat can be the death of you. if jagex really had means to detect macros the some people might be pking right now their "sophisticated" methods probably were failure to solve a few randoms and a few random abuse reports by other players i doubt a browser game like runescape could have 3rd party software detection (or if they do i doubt it could be that great...) yeah i agree with you however on getting rid of them on combat areas nothing more annoying than say fighting metal dragons and getting niles or a sandwich lady

well just off the prices id go with guthans special over 100mil or 8 mill hmmm

lol no one buys actual accounts its too easy to get scammed (old recovery questions work for a while) but what you do have to worry about is those asians in the sweatshops logging into YOUR (not their) accounts and power-leveling for you (or making 5 mil for you and you pay them say 20 bucks for it) Thats what i have a feeling is the next target and i have a feeling that jagex next response will be a continental IP system where only IP adresses in your area work

happened to me when i got perm banned on this account (all black marks were linked back to the hacker TY MOD ROSS for unbanning me!) they told me change my recoveries and pass and wait they will put me on temporary bann (so the hacker doesnt get back on) wait for that to expire and get on playing again

did you see the development diary for the imps for hunter? well the concept art normally looks better than the finished product (at least in runescape anyways..)

no think of all the people using bots to alch for them... bots were never invented for RWT they were corrupted to be used for it however bots were created for faster lvl ups that you dont have to consciously think about

ouch you are unlucky my first clue (from a goblin or ham) at lvl 20 got me a black beret back when they were 100k and 100k wasnt easy to get for low levels but bad luck i guess is something we all have to live with you are lucky at something just find it. For me im lucky at barrows, but pathetic at dragons and have had a few decent clues here and there im sure you are lucky at something (even if its daggonoth kings or some new monster). its all compensated somewhere beleive me even with slayer monsters you may never see a d chain from dusties but getting 500 dragon boots from the spirital mages is possible

Unless you started playing before 2003 its always been a "rule" you have to accept an agreement that you are older than 13 to create an account. ---- OT: I do agree, I prefer the old day when things weren't "spoon-fed" to me. There is little to no self learning in the game now. Its kind of a disappointment, but you live and learn and adjust to change. =\ who says i didnt join in 2003 or even sooner

well its not stupidity only a lot of people under 13 like me a few years ago (before it was even a rule) got scammed now im pissed off that those rules are there but if i was new now it mightve saved me a lot of money? in fact all those wouldve helped but your right now that their all there it really ruined the adventure for me i liked taking a risk now the best risk is giant or strong monsters or a few deadly mini games

its just an idea... if you really hate it so much come up with your own :thumbsup: like i said (err or probably said anyways) that, thats not the best idea but the current quest point system for 30k is seriously unfair to your non questers (something jagex for years has regarded as unnecessary to play) and gratz on your 200 qp if you are a quester now how does it feel to make your 30k trades? whats that like 2 or 3 trades from world 66 fast free laws

Only problem with that is that people sell their accounts for Real World Cash, thus giving RWT the opportunity to escape the exceptions to trading. There was an idea going around about being able to select 5 friends has your unlimited trading friends but you could only change them once a month. I rather liked, because i don't trade with many people but for others it might be a hassle. This does make the Quest Cape Obsolete though seeing as now players are being forced into completing quests just to get a semi fair trade balance. i like that idea a lot however seeing as how this is jagex were talking about its a shame that it will never be implemented

lets remember the best deal jagex is offing right now is 30k for doing all quests i almost want to abandon the original idea and go completely against unbalanced trade "rule" i played solely for the reason to work my skills to gain the money to buy the barrows armor and supplies and raise my combat solely to be able to defeat boss monsters in combat i realize their having updates where you evenly split profits from monster trips but until then why should someone like me play the unbalanced trade "suggestion" i offered can temporary solve this problem until then and also the assist system fails badly so id buy runes now im expecting their prices to triple (at the fastest speed GE will allow) but still i agree with the ideas above about the 5 friends where you can trade any amount (im guessing to balance it out you need a 2 year old account with quest points in order to choose those friends)

yeah thats was the idea i was going for again why older accounts? your right just because i have an accoutn for 4 years doesnt mean im perfect however what it does mean is that there are less older accounts thus easier to track the quest point idea isnt leaving its just something we have to live with but some kinda mix like that should be started

on the RSOF on one of the stickies a jmod posted that they will never take away these updates even if they lost 50% or more of their members so your best bet is go suggest a new pvp that hopefully would be as good or better than t he old wilderness

hopefully your right but the bot accounts themself last about umm probably a week some RWT's (caugh caugh hardcore stakers) lasted a while and got millions spread around but their as likely to do quests as anyone else if i remember right cursed you the first player with lvl 99 construction got banned for RWT Im sure he was a total quest master (and i guess an old account too but with every old account gone thats one account that will NEVER come back) if there were RWT's with old accounts then they would still stand out and easily be banned (especially if they were banning 1000's a week im sure they can handle say 100 a week *if everyone who played classic just loved RWTing* for a month) But remember ANY new account can do quests NO new account can play rsc again ALL new accounts grow older and get less of a restraint though (provided they dont get banned)

well the war against RWT ends tomorow and if it didnt affect anyone before its certainly going to affect EVERYONE now The 3k trade rule or balanced trade is the most drastic of these updates and its going to be instituted tomorrow as already expressed by jagex (ill get quote in a little while) they feel that newer players are at a much higher risk to be RWT so then i read about the quest point "solution" and i didnt think it was that fair. What about people who hate quests and what about people who are pure skillers who tend to have a ton of money and sometimes can be generous i thought about it for a while and then i came up with the age of the account should determine how much gold you can unbalancedly (sp? xD) trade An account that can play on rs classic should have no limit to the amount of gold they can trade. Why because they've proven that for many years they could behave and are less likely to break the rules now. And uptight jagex could even track them better since there are so few of them now if they are concerned. This is more of a suggestion and a rant about tomorrow but i think jagex should reward us for time played and years of clean rule abiding playing too. haha im sure the rest of you got better ideas than me but one thing im sure we can all agree on is that for one QP are unfair and 2 being able to trade 30k for doing ALL quests is absolutely funny thats worth 2 to 3 trades while at world 66 fast free laws

well ive made my account well over 3 years ago ive QUIT for longer than ive played i reached lvl 80 combat in my first year and did legends and most of the quests over 2 years later im lvl 92 combat and have done most of the quests which is really not impressive considering when i reached lvl 80 i added a lvl 40 who is now lvl 110 with a few 99's xD your right it is impossible to quit for good unless you get perm banned and you spent all your time on one account but people do quit all the time like me - im a failed account basically

i dissagree with the B grade in the end runescape did have its ups but its downs were much more dramatic and horrifying the good parts made the game fun while other updates ruined the whole reason for playing for many people i wouldve given it a C- or possibly a D

They said that the GE was close in concept, meaning that it doesn't have all of the features that player owned shops will have. I believe that if Jagex had no intention of bringing it out, they simply wouldn't have mentioned it at all (like wilderness tag hasn't been mentioned in a long time), or they would've said that the Grand Exchange would be taking its place. So at the very least, it's not being worked on, but it's still a viable idea that engine upgrades will partially focus on. exactly what i was about to write except there is one reason that jagex wont make them it might be used to help bots if you can set up your own prices if you cant then this would be just another grand exchange room in your house which is actually likely to happen if they keep mentioning it

if you think 10k 99 cooks is a good thing then yeah bots are awsome they did their job well get tons of raw recources in the game and make it waaay too easy to lvl up take the glamor of lvls make money sell account and start over again i dont think its cool that anyone who wants a heavily botted skill like fishing can get lvl 99 cooking and only spend a few mil
