Macbooks are pretty great all-around laptops if you just want to get a computer that will work very reliably when you need it, but if you don't want to mod it all that much (or play games). So simple answer is yes--it's a good college laptop.

Could be you spilled a little bit of liquid on the keyboard, and it messed up the "K" key.

I use lavasoft ad-aware, it seems to work well. And makoto, supposedly cockroaches could survive a nuclear war, so that wouldn't be too effective =P I guess a particularly nasty virus could lodge itself in the BIOS though, so the analogy works :lol:

Other thing is that you really shouldn't have multiple antivirus programs on the same computer--they often detect eachother as viruses.

Yep, and I have yet to see anybody contradict that. OT--I do agree that range capes should be able to be incorporated with accumulators, as if you've taken the time to get 99 range, you are likely to be using it and should be able to do so while also showing off your achievements.

Bud, he addressed this. He said that as long as an item for that skill already exists (as with the mage arena capes), he would support implementing it. However, he also correctly pointed out that this thread is about range capes, not about appealing to Est0rrath's sense of fairness.

Outfits are generally just fun. I like to wear my full dagon'hai with my quest cape and dfs, plus a whip. It's mostly stuff that I would have anyways or that I got for free, and I find that it looks good and doesn't way much. So why not wear it, I figure?

lol I think you mean warped terrorbirds, would be interesting if we got assigned a summoning familiar o_o. Anyways, I blocked scarabs, irons, steels and greaters. (might cancel scarabs one day and greaters once I get 127 combat) I usually cancel kalphite and terrorbirds since they're not awfully common. Haha, you're right, getting a tad late here. I fixed it :lol:

Scabarites, Warped Terrorbirds, and Kurasks right now. Kurasks aren't actually so bad, I blocked them a while ago, I may just unblock them some day now that I have access to bunyips.

I was showing him how to do the 26k trick a month or two ago, and he made the mistake of tellying to Canifis rather than Lumby, and was piled by D Clawers, lost his ss #-o And as for the dust devils, I tried putting on my Guthans there once, and got killed lol. Was trying to figure out why the hell I was being hit constant 8's, while also gulping down monks like mad. (I switched to Guthans because I was at around 25 health, so that didn't go over too well :lol: ) And Greenboy, Ping has a link to the "secret" method of training mage in his signature, not exactly trying to hide it :lol: . It's a great method, I get around 120k exp an hour, although it's way expensive, around 34m from level 84-99.

I did not think of the prices. I don't know how to solve that, hope someone figures out a way. There really is no way to implement this suggestion without prices being affected. A second chance to get rare items means 2X more rare items coming into the game (at least), and more items coming into the game means lower prices.
