  1. Really? I never watered anything I grew, I've gotten 68 farming just fine. I guess that might explain why half my allotment patches are dead, though.
  2. What a helpful comment. Like the above poster said, I would try ranging things in varrock sewers--possibly red spiders, skeletons, or moss giants? Alternatively, green dragons in the wilderness are easy and are good money at low levels. You may want a slightly higher range level before going there, though. Finally, you could try the lesser demon on top of the wizards tower. It's in a cage, so it would be good for a low level ranger interested in some slow-paced range training.
  3. Going to laugh when the update comes out and you whinged for absolutely nothing. If pretending to drink alchohal at a "bar" (which you can't even sit in by the way) is what you do for fun then I hope you have a blast. Maybe if bars actually did something then I'd care about this update. But seeing as how you can't sit in them, there is no actual item shoved into your mouth and the fact that bars are useless, this update will be useless. If everything had an animation for eatting, like a Keg of Beer does, then maybe a bar would actually be fun. Do you really think the new Rangers Ade beverage will be useful? Cause it won't. It will be like every other beverage in the game - useless. Skewered Kebabs? Yeah, because the skewered foods are all a massive hit in Runescape. But these are -rangers- kebabs, you know! They might heal 25+ hp!
  4. what u do to get 66 rc from 64 Yeah, I used spicy stews--they can raise any stat 6 levels, but can also lower them by that much.
  5. It's too bad this DD doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. Oh well though, it's a sign of progress, at least we know they're still working on it actively.
  6. [hide=] Horrible, easily abusable, idea. [/hide] How could this be abused? An example would be nice. As 'everybodydies' said, noted junk is not counted as loss, so people cannot constantly lose 20m in hopes of their friends getting a good drop. With that in mind, the only way to abuse it would be to actually bring nice armor and lose it for every kill, which isn't exactly practical. Edit: Don't even know what happened with my quotes and hides there, I'll work on it
  7. So far this weekend, I've gotten this, 83 woodcutting, and 64 runecrafting. With that runecrafting level, I also finished fally diary 3 =D
  8. Looking at that graph, I'd say it is definatley a glitch of some sort--oh well, at least it has been corrected. I'd report it, if you haven't already.
  9. Well, 1) This was kinda fun to figure out and I could say I was studying, and 2) Knowing the time period helps justify certain suggestions and helps predict upcoming updates (not as a whole, but the theme of it). Studying for what? My AP test is today, which is the only reason I read through this whole post, haha. OT: I think that Runescape is not meant to be set in any specific period, but has elements from many different times, including some more modern examples. Example: Gnomecopters and airplanes. Last I checked, there weren't any of those in the renaissance.
  10. It's incredibly boring though--to string ammies, you just click once and the whole inventory finishes itself. To make planks, you have to click once per plank. Anyways, I started stringing ammies at 84 mage, and I had 32m. I now have 95 mage and 19m, though I have done other things such as my kingdom, which have helped me financially. Short answer--it costs alot.
  11. Clever response. Yes, I agree with you, this is a very unbalanced update. However, you can take solace in the fact that it will go down from 15k per drop to something much lower...maybe around 5k after a few weeks, I'm guessing.
  12. [hide=] Yep, they officially killed the 26k trick. I coulda swore they said in a previous update that they didn't mind it, but this apparently isn't the case :wall: They didn't kill the 26k trick... who the hell said you needed to afk for hours to do it? +1. They didn't KILL the 26k trick, they simply made it more RISKY. Now if you're doing the trick, someone else can interrupt your combat. That simply means you have to be prepared to defend yourself. In f2p, that's meaningless since it's so pathetically easy to do so, at least at higher levels. In p2p though, against d claw specs and ancients combos, that might be insanely hard. [/hide] Alright, all of those are good points. You didn't have to afk for hours to do it, but often people fought their friends for hours to gain potential. I guess it would be more accurate to say that they got rid of the way MANY people gained potential for the 26k trick. [hide=] Did u hold 75k? [/hide] I only had a dds, a dose of antipoison, and an inventory of monkfish.
  13. Well, the drops are pretty good. I went with just a dds and I killed another 1-itemer, got Was pleasantly suprised, though the addy fire arrows are worthless.
  14. Yep, they officially killed the 26k trick. I coulda swore they said in a previous update that they didn't mind it, but this apparently isn't the case :wall:
  15. I agree, though you may want to change your title. It looks a little....unprofessional.
  16. As a footnote to one of their updates, they did mention this change.
  17. Does this mean classic will be opened up to everyone? I wonder how  It's the one he's mentioned before, where you'll have access to 'cheat codes' for classic. Just for people to get a "feel of it", I'm sure. As if they were to allow it back to how it was, you'd find bots starting to sell Gp etc. Whereas, if they leave everything free to get, no trouble will be caused. Nice, that'd definatley be a good thing, as long as the "cheaters" were confined to their own servers.
  18. Does this mean classic will be opened up to everyone? I wonder how
  19. How exactly would you define "economic activities"? Is that just an activity which brings money into your account? Or is it any activity that moves around in-game money?
  20. It is nice sometimes, though it takes out the sense of wonder and exploration that a low level has. You go from having so many possibilities you can achieve to being bored with the game due to a lack of content left to unlock.
  21. I've gotten far higher than 11 while farming snapdragons. Do falador shields really raise the amount of herbs you get, though? I didn't know that, though it might just be because I can't be bothered to get the runecrafting level for the level 3 shield
  22. Sheesh, how many of these threads do we need? Truth be told, I think you should go ahead and get 99 in whatever you want. Although these skills may be easier or cheaper to get 99 in, there is still some degree of monotony involved, and they still take many hours of training to achieve.
  23. I'd give up if I were you. You're no fun =P
  24. There's a big difference between 13 million experience and 200 million experience. You can get 13m exp pretty easily if you play on and off, maybe train while you do something in real life. 200m is a different story, it completely requires no-lifing. And Jagex has shown many times that they do not want to encourage people to forgo their life just to play Runescape, by making the six-hour time limit and etc. While the six hour limit gives people a helpful little "nudge" to getting back to real life, they haven't done too much more drastic because we are their customers, and they basically just want our money; if they can keep us acting reasonably, that's just a bonus. Anyways though, back to the point--if they have taken steps such as the six hour limit to prevent people from no-lifing, why would they flat-out ENCOURAGE no-lifing by giving somebody a rather powerful reward?
  25. [hide=Suggestion]mister_moocky"]I will try to give a new suggesting every week. They may be large ideas, or small bug fixes, but they will be of quality and contain images where applicable. #7: Summoning familiar right-click ordering change. Pretty self explanatory, there is nothing more annoying then shifting through a pile of familiar options. Also, give familiars that have teleport options a "Teleport [familiar]" option when right clicked, BoB's have store why not make teleporters as easy to use? #6: Update NPC chat heads. The male ogre update is nice but there are still lots of npcs not up to par with the HD graphics. This includes: -Vyrewatch -Dwarves -Gnomes -General Khazard -Skavids -Demon butler -Fairies -Monkeys -Elves -Trolls -Clay golem -K'Klik (fairy dragon) -Children If you have any more please post them! #5: Banking directly from your equipment screen. The 'bank all worn items' buttion is great, but what if you just want to bank 1 or 2 equipped items? Currently you would have to: 1) Close your bank 2) Open your equipment screen 3) Unequip the item(s) 4) Re-open your bank 5) Bank the items That's quite a list for something so simple. So when banking I suggest being able to switch between your inventory and equipment screens like normal (just click on the icons) but be able to bank your equipment, including all of the bank-number options for stacked items such as arrows and bolts. #4: Castlewars baricade improvement. Even when maging, one well-placed baricade can leave you tangled while your opponent -and your flag- get away. Even if you explode the baricade, If he gets out of your clicking 'sight' then you don't have much chance in catching up. If you run into a baricade and you have an explosive potion in your inventory I suggest that there is a percent chance (50% of your agility level, or lower if that seems too high) that you automatically explode it with no delay, or possibly a small delay. For example, if someone has 50 agility, there would be a 25% chance that they succeed. If there is more then one person attacking the runner then the person 1) Who is the closest and 2) With the highest agility would get the attempt. If you are a ranger or mager, or a meleer chasing the runner but not in combat it would also work. This would also count for people trying to get into a base; if they run into a baricade blocking some stairs for example. #3: Special attack bar beside the minimap. Making the run energy, health, prayer, and summoning displays beside the minimap was an excellent idea. Especially with the latest "quick prayers" the game menu has become more and more user friendly. Why not continue this trend with the special attack bar? It could to along the side of the minimap: Or be vertical, on the left. Of course the special bar would also remain where it is. The images are a bit sloppy because I only had the marged image to work with. #2: Randomly generated tele-grab mazes in the Mage Training Arena. I decided to get the bones to peaches spell (even though I don't forsee myself using it) because I'll be training to atleast 94 mage soon and It'd bug me not being able to cast it (getting the spell took less than a day). The MTK is really an interesting place, and a largely ignored source of profitable mage xp. The random nature of the enchanting and alching arenas made it entertaning, while the bones-to-fruit part was very fast. However, the tele-grab mazes seemed to streach on forever. Once you go through all the mazes it becomes monotonous. I suggest making the mazes randomy generated, requiring 7-13 moves to complete. I understand it would be difficult, but Jagex has been promising randomly-generated content for a long time, and I think the MTA would be a great place to start. #1: Inventory space for summoning charms. Farming and now Summoning have brought a lot of new monster drops into the game, squeezing our inventory space! I'm sure you've had to make the choice between a drop and a charm, and wish you could take both. Some of you may be thinking, sure charms lose us 4 inventory spaces, but summong also gave us the ability to summon beasts to give us far more inventory spaces. The problem is, they can not be taken to many places, and the pouches cost money which is wasted if you only want to use one for a short time. Also, players who have low summoning or who have not done Wolf Whistle can not use these extra spaces. So it'd make sense to give players extra room for charms only. This could be a reward (say, an npc gives you a "charm belt") from an existing minigame or a sequel to the Wolf Whistle quest. Currently, an inventory without and with charms. Possibility of how the extra charm spaces could look. More to come... [/hide] I agree completely, it gets very annoying to click two other people's familiars before reaching mine, while teleporting to castle wars for training summoning.
