  1. Crafting Guild (7 rocks), Karamja Dungeon (4 rocks) or the Crandor Northeast Shore (3 Rocks) are probably the best f2p places for gold.
  2. Hi, I currently have 58 mining and level 60 is the requirement to gain access to the mining guild. What are some ways I can achieve these two levels quickly in f2p. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the input folks! The reason why I am runecrafting in f2p was to simply gain access to the RC guild and the Great Orb project. Since I don't really ming losing money, I guess earths are the way to go.
  4. Hello everyone, I am currently 43 runecrafting and I am looking for the quickest way in f2p to get to 50 runecrafting. What runes should I go with crafting? (eg. air, body, etc.) Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the input folks! Reading your suggestions, I think I will go with the airs until level 50 ;) Locked.
  6. Greetings, I am trying to work my way up to level 50 runecrafting to gain access to the runecrafting guild, but before I start to buy any supplies, I just would like to ask, what would be the best method of training/what kind of unes should I craft? I am currently level 43. (7 levels away!) Thanks.
  7. I usually cut yews at Melzar's maze and teleport bank in Falador. Even though it may be far from a bank, there are not many people using the tree patch, although don't be surprised to see someone in the mid-upper 90s hanging around there.
  8. Hello folks, As you all know, RSHD officially came out of beta and is in full release and with it comes more options on the Graphics menu. One of those is "Anti-aliasing and I am just curious to know, what does this really do to the graphics. It seems that when I have it off, the pictures are more clear. Thank.
  9. Sadly, people are still protesting and and still attempting to organize so-called "riots", even though it is more that half a year since it was removed. Guess it's back to skilling!
  10. Don't laugh at this, but how I got my prayer from 1-43 is simply "bone-scavenging" in popular f2p training locations. This includes the minotaurs and the Lumbridge cow pen. I simply pick up the bones that people leave behind, bury, and continue on. Of course, there may be someone competing with you from time to time.
  11. There are many places to cut yews in f2p: - 4 trees spread through the area between Lumbridge and Draynor Village - 3 trees around the sawmill in Eastern Varrock - 3 trees behind Varrock's castle - 3 trees by the south gate of Falador - 2 trees in the battered house in Edgeville - 4 trees south of Melzar's maze in Rimmington Personally, I like to utilize the Melzar's maze trees as not many people cut there and there are plenty of trees. Of course, this means a longer distance to the Falador bank. If you prefer a quicker way of banking, then the Varrock castle, Edgeville, and Falador trees are the best ones. Good-luck choppin! :D
  12. Unfortunately, there is no quick way to 99 mining, but to get from 1-99 mining, I would take it step by step. As you are in the low levels, the best option would be to mine cooper and tin. I would continue to mine them until at least 31 mining as they give a decent amount of experience. You can also bank them and train some smithing along the way. Once you hit level 31, you can buy yourself a adamant pickaxe and you can go for a shot at iron ore, although if there is someone there with a rune pickaxe, then you have a hard time getting ores. better yet, you could also train to level 41 mining for the rune pickaxe and iron ores would be a lot easier. You can mine and drop in the Al Kharid mine or the Rimmington mines to get some quick experience. The fastest way to get to 99 from then on would be to mine and drop ron although if you get bored, you could always chip at some coal in the mining guild, provided that you have at least 60 mining. Good-luck! :D
  13. Thanks for the help folks! Unfortunately, my defense is in the mid 40's, so it won't be that good against the aggressive ankous. I think I will give a shot at the ice giants in the wilderness as it is a very uncrowded place and fire will work good against ice.
  14. Greetings! I have a bunch of fire bolts to cast and I have been doing at at the lesser demons, however, it gets too crowded at times. Is there any other NPC I can cast a fire bolt at with a decent amount of health and is not too crowded? My magic level is currently 47. Thanks.
  15. Amazing how these ghosts travel in groups!Luckily, it wasn't in a multi-combat zone.
  16. Although I am sure that different browsers don't make much of a difference in-game wise, I would put Mozilla Firefox on the top simply because it is fast getting to the log-in screen. I have Firefox version 3.0 and I don't have that many problems with it, although it does crashes unexpectedly from time to time. As for Microsoft's Internet Explorer, it takes more time getting to the log-in page, but once you get there, there aren't many problems. :D
  17. Most of my ranged experience is done through minotaurs as they have a relatively constant drop of iron arrows, so there are no worries of losing arrows. I also try to squeeze into hill giants as they are easy, but then again, they are EXTREMELY crowded. If you don't mind losing your arrows, then the minotaurs across the crafting guild cows are excellent to range at. Good-luck! :D
  18. I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but if you take a look below, you will noticed that our number 1 player has dropped to number 2. :boohoo:
  19. Greetings! I am curious to know, how many hard-leather bodies can I craft before a spool of thread runs out? Thanks. :D
  20. It all depends on if you are online at the right time when a drop party is being hosted. It can be any time and any world. Good-luck. :D

If you mean the level 85 spell "Bounty Locate", then I'm afraid it is member's only. It replaced for what used to be the "Tele-block" spell on December 10 after the wilderness update. :D
  22. Hmm, f2p hi-alching is kinda tricky. Some popular things that people alch for are steel platebodies (You *will* lose money if you don't forge them yourselves) or green d-hide bodies, losing a little money per alch. I haven't alched in a while, so I might need someone else to comfirm this, but f2p don't have too much things to alch without losing money. Good-luck. :D
  23. As usual, I always enjoying reading the Tip.it Times! Thanks for the news! :D
  24. The best place to mine and bank iron ore is the little mine located south-east of Varrock. Once you get a full inventory, then you could bank in the ever-famous Varrock East Bank. :D
  25. I would prefer 80+ as they come down at a decent pace, but if you really want them to come quickly, then 90+ is that way to go. :D
