  1. Since this relates to marketing and runecrafting, it is best to place it in the Runecrafting forum under the market forums, but I am kinda new to these forums, so correct me if I'm wrong. :D
  2. Callahan

    Lame names.

Most names I see online either uses leet, filled with numbers, or in resemblance of a famous player. Fake names: 11111111122 Xxzezimaxx pur3 pkur## My name is came from the little town in Florida, but I have met a couple of other players with the same name, but different numbers. Some people even came up to ,e and asked, are you the lower level Callahan? Obviously, I wasn't the first guy to pick that name.
  3. The wilderness is just as dangerous as it used to be, but it all depends on luck. Instead of player killers, revnant ghosts replaced the pkers and they hit very hard. Regardless of their combat level, all of them hit 20+. The trick is, it's abundance is lower, so if you're lucky, you might make it out alive, but if you happen to run into one, then it's not good news. :D As for the gravestones, they will only appear for 1-3 minutes (F2p) and if you happen to die and respawn in Lumbridge, then timing will be tight to get to your gravestone before it breaks. Good luck and Happy holidays!
  4. Banned for having dancing vegetables in your signature! :o
  5. I kinda like clan chat as usually skill. :)
  6. Bone yard used to be someplace in the wilderness that was later replaced with the minigame, Clanwars. I might need a pure to answer this as I'm not that much into pking. Edit: It is previously located in level 32 wilderness.
  7. It's all about luck. One time, I got parts within 1-10 kills whilst the second time, I spend a week at catablepons and haven't gotten anything. :-w
  8. Being a player moderator takes some patience and you really would need to demonstrate that level of maturity before you are accepted in. Here are my three rule of thumbs. 1. Play nicely and help out other players when you can. Don not flame! 2. Report any abuse should you happen to see it going on in-game 3. Have a secure account that is not likely to be hijacked. Please do note that deliberately reporting in order to gain access to moderator status will result in your chances of being a moderator lowered. In other words things need to become natural! Good-luck. :D
  9. For me, I chose the last option as I am a skiller, thus, I have no point in quitting the game. Happy holidays everyone! :D
  10. I am a skiller and I plan on continuing that although I can feel the pain from pkers. :-w
  11. I liked the new wilderness capes. It makes me look like a paying member! :D
  12. I was wondering if this is part of the update, but f2p worlds used to go up to 141, but now, it goes to the 150s. Did this came along with the December 10 updates? :-k
  13. As some of you suggests that it doesn't work in f2p, I'm not too sure on that, but I find that system to be rather useless in f2p. :D
  14. The pictures of macro-infested yew trees may soon go in history! There are a couple of bots around the yew trees these days, but there are no more than 5 since they still have the point of macroing. After 2 weeks, however, once the update takes effect, it is a different story. Most of the time though, I am by there woodcutting yew trees on my own. =D>
  15. I meant us as in free-to-play. :D
  16. It is possible to fight revenant ghosts in the wildernss at any given time, but I would recommend you get out of there FAST should you happen to get caught and attacked by one. All of them hit 10-20+ regardless of their combat level and they have all those tricks a normal pker would have including teleporting, switch of attack style, healing, teleport blocking, and stunning. :-w
  17. Most likely pay-to-play as we, freeplayers, has been spoiled a bit by the updates given at the end of this year. Bounty Hunting, Clan Wars, Duel Arena, Grand Exchange, just to name a few. It is unlikely that Jagex will be giving us, free-to-play, an entire new skill, but who knows!
  18. I would chop willows until 85, then switch to yews at 85+. Yews are not that bad though at level 75+ as autoers have been swept away, but it is not the fastest method if you want money and exp. O:)
  19. The rule of thumb is, anyone can be selected as a player moderator, regardless of their combat level. If you show the maturity needed for moderator, then you will be selected. It doesn'e matter if it is level 3 or level 126. :)
  20. I have to agree that these ghosts can be quite powerful and the high your combat level, the less likely you'll survive. I am level 48 and a couple of days ago, I went on a little cruise in the wilderness and I walked right into a couple of them as low as a level 15 ghost to a level 126 knight. Luckily, not one of them can attack me as I am not at the proper level, but I've seen people get swept by them and they hit hard. :-w
  21. On the first account that I played, I fell to someone that is offering to level up my stats if I give him my password. Can you believe that??? Of course, I would never fell for that again, but it is a very devastating scam if successful.
  22. 1. They range from as tiny as level 7 to a roaring level 126! 2. they are undead creatures floating around in the wilderness to replace traditional pkers and to prevent wilderness activities, such as abyss runecrafting or rune mining from being too easy! 3. They drop all sorts of stuff ranging from a couple of coins to dragon items (p2p) if you're lucky. 4. They respawn almost everywhere. The minute they are here, the next minute, they teleported to somewhere else!
  23. I wend on a little tour of the wilderness for the first time ever, but there are a couple of level 100+ ghosts I encountered, but none of them can attack me as I am level 40. If you do choose to take advantage of these things, be warned that they can hit pretty hard and if you were to face them, they are far worse than traditional pkers, though they cannot heal or run away. :D
