  1. You're probably looking for the best cost effect method?
  2. :???: Anyone (high leveled) who goes on a lot of GW trips, with teams who require extreme, do you never take a yak? Just start with uni's? Am I missing anything? I wish I had overloads
  3. Where at? Chaos tunnels or ancient cavern.
  4. So I should just save using my extremes until I pull out my uni? I ask because I typically bring a yak for the first part of the trip, which can last a while, and my only source of healing is brews/sgs or EE.
  5. Sorry for my ignorance, but I need to know! Typical when I'm searching for a Sara GW team, or almost any gw team for that matter, they require extremes. My question is, why require extremes when brews negate their effect? Should I be bringing a lot of extremes? Or should I really just be relying on my unicorn for healing, but during the beginning of the trip, I bring yak and rely on brews... I understand why someone would bring overloads, brews do not effect their boost. I only just started going monster hunting again so I don't know how people get along with brews/familiar/extremes. Help?
  6. I miss the days when money wasn't everything. Now a days, every time the community figures out a future update, the price of a certain item inflates (or vise versa) even if it's a small or useless update; and people do this just to make more money. Just about every skill can be trained with money and sometimes it seems you need to spend a lot of money just to get a fair amount of experience. I don't even want to mention merchanting clans and their chat spam.... All the greed has gone on in RS for a very long time and continues to grow, but I still do remember, and miss, the days when money wasn't everything.
  7. All though I agree with muggi, I'll still give you my gear suggestion. Veracs helm and skirt plus Arma plate are still the best choice for prayer/armor/attack. Ranger boots, Snakeskin, frog leather, ect. for boots and Barrows gloves for gloves. Fury, Ranging ammy, glory for amulet and Soul Wars or 99 achievement cape. As for your weapon, I STILL use crystal bow; it's accurate and strong. If you would rather use a Rune C'bow use broad bolts until jad and use diamond or ruby on jad.
  8. I often die when I'm dharoking waterfiends and there's a crowd. Because I often go a little to close to the brutal greens and their fire can one hit me (I stay around 200-300 lp).
  9. I have played for about 8 or 9 years and someone has all ready taken my name; I changed it the day name changing came out. I also still have the "knows as" icon next to my name.
  10. You also have the option of using Veracs Flail or Torags Hammers.
  11. If you could, I would go for 92 prayer (soul split ownzzz) and 90+ herblore for extremes
  12. From what I've heard, the egg is not a rare drop but can take as much as 300+ kills to get; it's all just 'the luck of the draw'.
  13. All right, so I haven't logged in yet because I have some questions. What should the multiplier be at after 1.5 and 3 hours? Where's the best place to bank? I see cw is ridiculous, MA? Edge? Draynor?
  14. There are 15 stages to the horn (full horn, 3/4 horn, 2/3 horn, ect...) each stage gives about 1000*your skills level. Example is: with a lv90 skill the horn will give 9000xp/horn stage until you get lv91.
  15. 9/10 for beating gertjaars 10/10 if you beat zezima
  16. In my experience, I've found the icon will only go away once you've changed back to your original name.
  17. I go with mac, OS X; I have a mac and I love it. I also have Windows 7, which in my opinion, is a huge (better) difference from Vista. If you have the money, go for a mac. I like all the little differences from OS X to W7; things like Expose, Quick Look, Spotlight and TONS of other software. ALSO NOTE: I find RS to run better in Windows; not that I ever have problems when I play it on my mac, I just think RS is built for Windows  . RS will run in HD with everything on high no problem in OS X/any new mac.
  18. That looks really good
  19. Tip.it has some excellent looking stats signatures.
  20. What will be interesting is to see how the total inflation of items like finished potions, chins, runes, ores/bars/armor, fish cook/raw after March 12th will affect prices. For example think of how many people will be making potions, then selling them after they're done. The GE will be packed with such materials and the price will fall. Could this possibly be a plan to lower prices?
  21. I wouldn't do hunter, I imagine you would train it doing chins, and on that day every world will be filled with 4+ people per spot making it a bad choice. Runecrafting is a good choice because it's such a slow and sometimes boring skill to train. I, on the other hand, will be doing summoning and herblore, to save me money and charms.
  22. I like the idea and I will take advantage of it. The only problem I have is, it has ruined GE prices for weeks; as if prices weren't all ready inflated. <_<
  23. Number 8 or 5 wins me over; I voted 8.
  24. I find it to be a better fighter than geyser in most situations, I think it's because most monsters are weak to mage. Also, I don't think scrolls work in headgear because they're not technically used for damage combat.
  25. Well, let me just say this, Summoning is very useful (also my favorite skill  ) How to train it: Finish the quest, Wolf Whistle Buy a lot of Spirit Shards and Pouches Kill monsters to gain charms (gold, green, crimson and blue) Bring the shards, pouches, charms and secondary ingredients to a summoning obelisk to make familiar pouches. Popular ways to gather charms are - Slayer, Waterfiends, Bursting Rock Lobsters [exspensive]. Here's Tip.it's Summoning guide - http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=summoning_guide.htm Once you have 57 Summoning you can make Spirit Graahks and can use them to make natures once again; this is the fastest Nature crafting method available. You can find guides on how to do this by searching 'Graahking natures' in Google or YouTube.
