  1. Tried to see if Rev. Dragon was actually updated as well, but couldn't find one on any world, even the highly populated ones for 30 min to an hour of searching. I believe it looks like a plane. Please take a picture of it and post if you happen to see one!
  2. Your Magic level boost does, but not your equipment boost. It can get confusing sometimes... <_<
  3. Blood tali is quite useful, How else would you craft blood runes? You get one from the quest for free, do you not? And anyway, the exact same way everyone else does - through the abyss or with the omni.
  4. The point is that the Frost Dragon most likely won't be a boss monster or a monster that you can fight only once, slightly clarifying where they said "one-off rewards". If there are several different (albeit still very similar) versions, they are more likely located in a group, like normal chromatic dragons, and may well drop frost hides rather than some super-special and rather useless effect item.
  5. Mind sharing? :P Sure, but they aren't much different from the original.~~ All from the same angle with the same zoom. I believe the one on the far right is the new Revenant Dragon, but I haven't seen one in-game to be sure. I guess there weren't 4 new versions, but at least 4 total...
  6. With today's update, there are now 4 or 5 different versions of the Frost Dragon (as there are 4 or 5 of all chromatic dragons) and they are all located near the end, far away from the original Dungeoneering one.
  7. Photoshop, Paint, and Microsoft Powerpoint - the latter two especially. My signature specifically should be much closer to the color of the background here on TIF, if you're using the Mithril skin - a grayish blue.
  8. It appears that both ImageShack and TinyPic greatly reduce the colors in pictures uploaded using them. I don't know how long this has happened for, or if it has in fact always happened, but I just recently noticed it with pictures that have a high concentration of blues (my signature and Mithril Dragon pictures being the most recent)... Can someone please explain why this is happening and link to an image uploader that keeps the original colors? Something to do with web-safe colors? I've really got no idea. My signature is not supposed to be that purple!
  9. Looks a ton lighter on mine... Lol, wait, WTF? The uploaders are screwing pictures up again.
  10. It's the view, as you can see here, the wings aren't quite that far back...
  11. 68 Construction, 68 Smithing, 67 Crafting. Hint: They're all really really close together. One would be rather paranoid if they saw that and automatically thought "OMG my Onyxes are worthless!" I was the one who originally started the rumor, and I still think it was a valid possibility at the time. Onyx had been rising in street price exponentially, we all know Jagex hates street prices and it wouldn't be the first attempt at nerfing an item with street value. I still think onyx is in for a nerf sometime soon. It's pretty easy to present an opinion on something after you already know the answer, and I never said they would be worthless. I seem to remember several "panicky" posts, even if they weren't yours (a la the "oh noes they'll be worthless" part). It's pretty easy to present my thought process when I originally saw your fearmongering post after reading the quest requirements when they were first revealed. I should go so far to agree with you that it was suspicious that one of the three would be 67 rather than 68, though.

  13. YAY! It's adorable! And +5 stew without the usual trouble... They kept the examine intact (ironically?). "A big, scary, jet-black demon." Far too much grass for my taste. Also, the rooftops seem like they were overlooked a bit. Why bother with the separators except on the edges? I'll definitely be switching back to Frem. but I suppose this tileset is great for those who like it.
  14. Supermethod! Gear: Deflect Magic, used Fire Surge, moved as soon as I hit with melee (there's a motion lag with her kick and you may not even be hit by the firepit spawn if you're quick enough)... Meleed her on the pedestals and maged her otherwise. Alternatively, if you have at least 92 Prayer, you can wear Karil's and use Soulsplit. She will not spawn firepits if you do not Deflect Magic. If someone wants to actually try this, please tell me how it goes... :)

Well, let's see... Are you actually dying to her? I'd like to be helpful, but I didn't have any problems. Gear: Deflect Magic, bring the best Surge you can, move as soon as you hit with melee (there's a motion lag with her kick and you may not even be hit by the firepit spawn if you're quick enough)... Melee her on the pedestals and mage her otherwise. Swap what you don't have, of course... ~ Going to also post this on the news thread, as that seems like a tip hotspot. Surprised you didn't look there first!
  16. 5 min in, and I've already laughed my ass off. This is going to be good. HAVE SOUND EFFECTS ON!!
  17. I wish I had friends like the author and the author's in article #2. I often end up [bleep]ing around by myself if at all these days. Even in the golden era I only had a few friends who played (as opposed to "ground") and even they became less and less inclined to an adventure rather than bore themselves as time went on. Now I have at best one or two, both subject to low availability. For shame! For I have been to every corner of RuneScape, and stepped on every square, and learned every dark secret, and there is nothing left for me to explore. And yet I would enjoy retracing every one of my steps if only I had companionship.
  18. Yes, because we REALLY want an Item that's coming INTO the game to rise to the value of Party Hats with terrible stats compared to armors 1/10th its cost. For once I wish players wouldn't think about money only, and has there been any update on Prayer Armor from Cache? Whats the matter with very expensive stuff? Its to show off, not for stats. Well climbing boots were changed because they were too powerfull compared to their counterpart stat-boots. 3rd Age doesnt give THAT good bonuses, so its only logical to increase the amount of them ingame or change the price so they are on par with the other items with equal bonuses. Although I somewhat agree with you, wouldn't that make a Barrows set worth a hundred mil or so? :-| On a slightly different topic, my friend and I were discussing how neat it would be if they released trimming pieces for Dragon armor. It seems like a better option than straight giving out Dragon armor from level 4 clues.
  19. It should be noted that the "multi-God" 'hide is likely what we already have. You see, many items that are extremely similar but come in many color variations have the varied areas represented by a common color. This is most noticeable with the head models for the newer hairstyles; All the "main" parts of the hair are brown and all of the "secondary" parts are pink. The same goes for Skillcapes and their respective trimmed versions.
  20. At the mask and trimmed mystic.. .btw, wheres 3a prayer? Sorry to burst your bubble, but as someone said on the last page, those models are very old. Also, it doesn't appear that the "miscellaneous" finds videos are still up that originally showed them... I can't remember exactly, but I believe that the platebodies were found near the other TT models, and I know for sure the "Dragon Masks" were found near the Frem. Isle quest models. To be honest, they look like some kind of botched design for a Dragon Full Helm. What's strange is that you can see the 3rd Age Helm in the first one... EDIT: I have found Treasure Trails batch 3 (3rd Age, ETC), and some of the above models are indeed interspersed with the ones currently ingame. The "Dragon Mask" was in the Frem. Isles models.
  21. That's exactly it! Thank you all for the help!
  22. Solved!! Thanks!
  23. THIS. DEAR GOD, THIS. Sec, updating. Wouldn't get my hopes up though... At the very least I'll find the new CW shield, so we can see how particle effects look in the cache, and once the new items are released we'll know right away if particles are included. Better than nothing? JaGEx has definitely changed something. Far, far more models cause the viewer to crash, or are incredibly stretched to the point that they're unidentifiable. Great. It's officially "okay" to view the cache now because there's no longer a point in doing so. Oh, for reference to myself quoted above, the halos do not have the effects attached to them. I wasn't able to find the shield in between crashes and patience, sorry.
