I've never heard of something requiring 80 Strength, Ranged, and Agility... Unless they're referring to Movario, and have simply upped the requirements...

Okay. How much more raw Defensive bonus do you need to compensate for 30% damage reduction? When I made this thread, I was assuming it was ALWAYS 10%, meaning that the Divine would really only give 20% damage reduction over it. That quote was not altered at all; right there, it says nothing about "over 200" in the same line, but, rather, it is mentioned slightly below that... It does in fact very clearly say "all" "damage above 200" in the KB; there is no mention of the percentage being somewhere in between 0% and 10%. I'm not disputing what some of you have said, rather, saying that perhaps my core source was incorrect. This set up is purely for maximum Defense with the exclusion of PvP equipment. The Steel Titan contributes a PERCENTAGE boost, which means that the gained effect should be higher as your raw Defense bonuses rise. Obviously, the additional initial defensive superiorities were not high enough to make a great enough difference, although I must ask what +30 slash Defense is worth...

Umm, are you only talking about mid-high to high level slayers? Because if not, you seem to have missed the ones who use Dragon Plateskirt, Med Helm, Longsword, Amulet of Strength, Granite Body, Rune Boots, Obsidian Cape and Shield. Surely someone else caught onto this... :mellow: Not reading the whole thread to find out, though. For the record, being done with melee, I find melee Slayer a waste of combat XP. I'm one of those new-age mage slayers who came around after the civil rights move... Err, Strykewyrm update. - Plus the super fancy ...

I dunno. I tend to buy Death Runes from the guild... But that's about it. Maybe shops should sell high end items, like Spirit Shields, for 15% over max Grand Exchange price. That would give them a newfound reason. It would be better than forcing normal players to jump through the flaming hoops and whims of a bunch of asshats who have terrible arm to shield ratios and more gold than Nazi Germany.

What's the XP/hr rate for mining gems at Shilo in the underground area? Please include with Dragon Pickaxe and Gem Bag, if those give significant additional XP. I hate granite sooo much...

I have vowed, nearly since skill capes were released, that I would one day get 99 Agility. The skill isn't really fun to train, but it's not as bad as others, has decent enough rewards, is practically free, and has the best looking cape. It's fairly well respected, too, even though that isn't a huge reason for me to get it. At this moment, I feel like I have enough resolve to get at least into the 90s. At the moment, I am training Agility to level 80 at Ape Atoll. Is the best method of training, once I reach level 80, to use pies to boost to 85, and run laps at the advanced course at Gnome Stronghold? Can I use the Berserker Curse to make the pies last longer? After I reach 85 with whatever prescribed method, should I do the same for 90 using pies and the advanced Barbarian course? Are any obstacles at either advanced course fail-able?

Even with the hunter buff they made, I still think the bonecrusher is too overpriced/not very useful. I think either need to: 1. Massively drop the price, like maybe to the point where you can ACTUALLY buy it at level 21. 2. Give it another buff like all bones that it autoburies get a 2x multiplier. This is how the game gets ruined...just think of the people in rsc who killed monsters 7 times slower, buried all bones and got their prayer levels up to 70... The prayer xp you get from a bonecrusher does add up and if you are medium-leveled it is a great item to own, but it's certainly not an item to get fast prayer xp, rather free prayer xp. I don't think jagex wanted the bonecrusher to compete with altaring bones in terms of speed, but surely in terms of cost. Ideally, you would get as much Prayer XP as you would HitPoints XP for defeating an opponent. As it is, values are incredibly skewed and have been from the start. The game came broken in the package. All skills should be nearly equal in time to train and usefulness, but they're not. Keeping something broken fixes only your vindictiveness. At Ape Atoll you would only be hurting yourself. You NEED the bones on the ground for the skeletal gorillas to spawn out of them, so that you have more targets, so that the damage stacks more.

If he had that rank I'm sure he wouldn't be asking... :P If you won't buy an Archers' Ring, then use the Ring of Wealth. Better that than a ring that has absolutely no effect, like the Ring of Duelling, or the Explorers' Ring, which gives a prayer bonus you don't need.

Mage books are going for trade last I checked, and arcanes are going for above street. Above street? Typo? :P

Could I please get a status on Arcane Spirit Shield and Mages' Book? :) - And then, if it is possible to trade a Mages' Book + cash for an Arcane Spirit Shield?
