I've been ranging all of my tasks lately; it does feel slower but I'm also always safer... On a few tasks, though, Ranged is surprisingly powerful, and I will never melee Cave Horrors. All demons and dragons seem better to be ranged, and so do lower-level Slayer monsters who are high in abundance.

WOW... Does the conversion rate depend on anything or is it uniformal for everyone?

Interesting proposition - Does balanced mean that with high Attack stats, you lose your Defense stats, or that Defense stats are equal to Attack stats so that they're all the same and "balanced"?

Sounds about right. I'm not going to go through every level myself but this is what I was asking. I guess if you were able to trap it before a lot of people crowded around it would be very do-able. 123 cash-ins... No. That would make uber pures just like plate pures back in the days, like 1 def pures with Barrows gloves and such. If you're reduced to level 1 in everything except HP, and you keep your skillcapes, can you wear them still? Do they all become untrimmed? Interesting questions.

Ok so one (or more) penguins let you spy them more than once, so basically, get 50 points, run to larry, cash in for experience in gold, rinse and repeat. I understand as much; that doesn't seem nearly quick enough to get these "free 99s" that everyone is talking about... Is it... 50 x level x point? so if you were level 50... 50 x 50 x 50 = 125,000? That's more understandable... That's just for one "round" of 50 points. With this glitch, you could get 50 points, run to Larry, exchange for experience, and repeat...over and over and over...... -.- Yeah. Okay. It still doesn't seem very likely that very many people went from level 1 - 99 in one day like this, especially after seeing all the confusion and crowds in that YouTube video. Maybe Compfreak will come through and prove me wrong though (there's your cue!) by posting the exact number of "rounds" it would take.

Okay, could someone please explain exactly how the points to cash or points to experience conversion works? I don't understand how people could possibly get a 99 off of this in such a short period of time unless they were already well into the 90s... 10% more people have 99 RuneCraft? Seriously?

Someone was trying to convince me it was a FPS the other day, and that I should play it. I knew it was a RPG though, and I can't stand any RPG besides RuneScape (if RuneScape really counts...?).

Planning on continuing to train Ranged with Slayer until at least 83 Slayer. Then, I'll probably go back to GWD and max all four kill counts again - but this time, with Spiritual Mages.

Agility is the a very good skill as it applies to everything else. It's free, but it takes a long time to get level 99. Thieving is almost the same, but rather than applying to simply training other skills, it's more about being ready for situations which may arise. I wish they'd rename Thieving to "Ingenuity" since it's also about solving puzzles and getting out of traps.

I ignore most efficiency, people doing dumb bugs (Give Thanks has got to be the stupidest), and daily tasks. Oh, and RuneCraft. I couldn't be bothered when there were ample profits to be made and I certainly can't bother now that you almost lose money. I guess I also ignore skills I already have as high as I need them to be too.

Alright, no longer worrying about signature. I'm just going to use a dynamic one. I'm still looking for someone to take on the avatar task though!

Does anyone have pictures of Brawling Gloves (Agility) and the Shark gloves from Fist of Guthix? Wearing the Brawling Gloves (Agility) with the skillcape would be even better...!

This was true for me. Training controlled, using quite a bit of combat Magic, and a minimum of Cannon usage.

No, no, no, SOGGY DRAGON WEAPONS!!! \ Seriously though, the Corrupt Dragon equip idea is a pretty good one... Its possible that the dragon equipment was corrupted when they lost their powerlink to the dragonkin and by using it against the dragonkin, it somehow absorbs their power, maybe? ...It's also possible that both the Corrupt Dragon Equipment and PvP Equipment was just pulled out of JaGEx's [wagon] and has no real back story or history...

You know the chances of going 427 dry chests at 1/16 (not sure, but close?) of a drop per chest is .000000000001, or about .0000000001 %? That's one in one trillion. Not saying you're lying, but... I also recently got two kbd heads in a row. That cant be likely either. Probabl will do funny things but does that probability affect all rare drops? like if u get double black cavs from a clue (I did \ )then do u have less chance to get a spear from chest or d legs from steels? or do the odds only stay local to that drop table? New-found conspiracy: JaGEx allows some people only to gain drops based on the drop's value that day against long-term value allowances.

You could or still can? Massive but fairly hidden flaw there... That should also say that these max hits don't count for maxing purposes.

(i think) I'm not 100% sure, but you trade them to the guy after you finish a quest/diary (Fremmy one) And he gives you the price of the supplies in return. It's something down that road. :roll: It's something like 10% of the total material price, which is a complete rip-off still if you make them yourself, but most of these have been obtained from Treasure Trails, and thus are much lower in market value.
