Probably taken from a private server (there's no info as far as I see) but still interesting to see the color differences and unintroduced Book of Faces. Interesting to note that the inner sleeves of a lot of tops aren't present, further supporting that it's a private server. I wonder why that is, though...

Agreed! I am willing to bet that they are going to make some of those other useless rares (rest of the tattoos and horns, basically) available as the more common drops on the next weekend. They have 4 of em to use, so I am thinking they split up what drops will be available when so we don't all get each one of them in the first weekend and then stop spinning. As if that would happen! XD I really, really, realllllllly want swagger stick ^_^ I'm doubtful we'll see the stick or bag made common this month, but I wouldn't be surprised (actually a bit glad) if they they paired a set of horns with two tattoos for the next two weekends and then the goblin hat with the last horns the last weekend. Wondering if someone's found a way to abuse common untradable 100m valued items yet...

At lvl 90 every node other than air is better than soul wraiths, at 89 every node is better than bloods. Pure nodes of the higher type are slightly better than mixed nodes, because the mixed nodes require a higher level(higher fail rate) and sometimes give lower xp. I recorded xp rates of almost every node somewhere in this topic, that was before the most recent(and hopefully final) node update however. Are you saying then if there's a Blood Pool and Bloody Skulls I should opt for the Blood Pool?

What like a special effect or something? I kinda hope not, it wouldn't really feel like a set if a single piece did something special. I'm sure in the end the other new "dragon-themed gear" will overshadow the kite anyway. What I'm wondering is if this new dungeon will actually be the rework or an offshoot of the Brimhaven Dungeon. Also curious as to what they'll do with spike/gold trim kits in light of the plate set being "complete".

I was thinking RuneFishing. But at least today I've found it worth my while to pay a little more attention and hop an island every once in a while for a nice bonus. So many damn Bloody Skulls though. Honestly not sure if it's just because I notice them more or they're actually way more common, but all the nodes 86+ seem to be super frequent in my little area. Doubtful that I'll go past 86, though. The lvl 90 rewards don't seem worth it, and RC in general isn't really worth it past 86 unless you're actively trying to max.

Was going to go for the highest tier staff but after reading you need 90 RC for it I doubt that's happening... There's no reason for me to bother training that high when I can just stew from 86 to complete diaries. The staff itself isn't good enough to warrant an additional 4 levels of runefishing if RSWiki's stats for the middle tier one are to be believed (no damage bonus, for one).

Eh, I thought this would have puzzles or some other more active elements, like Ceremonial Sword making, instead of just being semi-AFK like Lava Flow... In any case, I don't see myself standing here siphoning Blood Esswraiths for 20 hours. This is only "better" in the sense that there's so little attention involved. What's the point of the chip off option? I seem to get more than enough essence just from fully siphoning a creature.

Lol, got as far as trying to enter the high level entrance before it said "Loading 50%" and locked up. Anyone notice in the reward shop that the Wicked Hood has a price? Is that the upgrade or is it just no longer free? I can't check for myself now...

By the time you gain the ability to imbue the rings you should have lots of credits. It's more the time taken to get there you should probably be concerned with... :mellow: It's probably of note that the imbuing of the ring doubles its crush defense too, to 8.

Yeah, I saw the PvP armor and thought he was going for max str then I saw the 202 and realized I got that with Bandos. Luckily you can just click it now to load the setup for changing. :) [set=head:6698,body:8029,legs:8030,gloves:11804,boots:7070,neck:123,cape:12042,ring:8849,weapon:9913] Technically Vesta's Chainbody is 1 str more but 3m+ more in price...

Yeah, I'm still going with POP. The GE doesn't need water near it with it being the central hub of RS and all. It was probably included because they'd reach a lot of people there whether those people were aware of the countdown or not. There just isn't any other huge content being released. The combat rework is a rework and as such I doubt they'll show it off like that... And it's very doubtful that they have these things planned and ANOTHER DG/Citadel size update that they've been keeping secret.

Even after switching computers and selecting minimum settings, when I go to the equipment screen my character is shown with full AA.

For some reason, I can deactivate AA and it will be obviously inactive until I enter the equip screen...

First I've seen Comp (T) in game since bloom, I think. Interesting choice of Barrows Gloves and Leaf-Bladed Sword considering what the cape entails... EDIT same place First time seeing an after-title in game as well.
