Bought Reverence. Realized it was perfect because I can only stand to do an hour of Barrows (3 OVL) at a time anyway! :)

Saaad, stayed up with 3 other TIFers to see this, ended up waiting way over the hour, signed up for the rewards on the website (for Gower-knows-why) and now my RS doesn't load. The past 2 weeks I just press the back button and it refreshes and loads. Now it just sits there blank white or black screen (it likes to alternate apparently...). Rebooting comp didn't help. Going to try to reinstall java. Saaader, from what I can see on the website and on this thread, the visual effects can't just be "worn" forever. I like the emotes, and I like the titles, but I don't like that M.A. titles were never implemented in this way, and I'm sure that even with these unnamed discounts (that I cannot currently log in to see) there's nothing I particularly want that I can get right away.

It doesn't have to be awesome. Once you cross the line of offering in-game equipment with bonuses, you will get players with their panties in their bunch beginning to rant. The ornate katana was even crossing the line for some, partially me included. If the new equipment slot offers bonuses, some players will be mad. However, since JaGex is offering this to all new and excisting members, I don't see this being much of a problem besides from people who want more than just stat boosting equipment or cosmic outfits and emotions. They probably won't have stats at all - at least not the ones released through the loyalty program - because it looks as if emotes are being offered for the same currency and possibly the same amounts of points, and I should think there's no chance that emotes will boost stats. On the note that I partially brought up above, did they ever say that the aura slot would be used exclusively for this? I'll have to go back and read the newspost I guess. EDIT LOL nevermind they do say it right in the newspost =D> EDIT2: Okay all previous statements retracted! :thumbsup: Emotes being the "equals" of auras as far as rewards go would point that everything is cosmetic, but only being able to obtain auras from the loyalty program, I can't think that they would have an equipment slot that has absolutely no bonus-giving items... What they should do (or be doing) is make the auras from the loyalty stuff completely statless and then in the future release other auras through quests and whatnot and give them bonuses compared to necklace slot items. Unfortunately, Jagex is money-hungry in addition to being completely [developmentally delayed]ed, so they'll probably release a berserker-ring equivalent aura tomorrow. :mellow: Actually if you ever played any other mmo's you'd realize by comparison, they are one of the least money hungry. He means if you compare them to how they used to be, to themselves. As a side note on your last note I think it's pretty likely. Why would they pair all those emotes and costumes such they showed with some awesome stat enhancing gear? It's obvious what most people would pick given that choice, lol...

+1 -1 I think some people need to understand that them not doing these things was a reason people play RS over those other games. Of course, by "these things" I do not consider the loyalty program RWT as it'll (at least at first) be available to any subscribers... In fact it's not really different from any other P2P benefit. I only disagree with the things that can't be gotten by everyone who purchases members, IE the vanity itemS which there will be more of...

Mainly, where can I find M & Thok #3? I know I can get Behemoth #5, I just haven't had enough Hope floors. Are there any others I have the level to get? I'm 102 DG.

Only thing I absolutely can't stand is Runecraft... ... And there's no point in botting or training Runecraft when I can just make RSW make me Emp Fire Staves. Like Obtaurian nearly all I do is DG! All day, erryday, all day erryday! JaGEx ever allowing/admitting (and especially supplying bots) that their game is so boring that it shouldn't be played by real people would be the saddest thing ever...

From the way they phrased it if you don't get the aura when it's first available, the price will rise or something. Or maybe those with members as soon as these are released get a small bonus... It's not really clear lol.

How does this happen? I thought the GE had mechanisms in place to prevent this. To prevent what? Someone buying at a price they wish and someone else selling at or near that price? =S After people started buying things drastically under their GE price (1gp for a partyhat, 1k for a santa, etc) JaGEx did implement warnings for sellers setting their items so low. I don't think they ever did anything about buyers paying too much though.

Getting these for just having members I can't really complain. I'll probably buy the aura. I hope it comes in a few different colors or something. The cannon bit is neat lol. It fired a cabbage, karamthulhu overlord, and some glowin things...

I finally got my Rune Ceremonial Sword-making ability! I was able to make 5 perfect swords out of 10 tries and KEEP 3 of them, those being 2 ii and 1 iv. The reason I liken Rune Ceremonial Swords to the Adze is because both are nontradable and Rune Ceremonial Swords require 90 Smithing (non-boostable, not sure about Adze in that respect, but a 90 skill). Also 2240 total at the time of this posting. ~ Rewards panel: Rune Ceremonial Sword ii wielded!: I'll throw more money at it later to get the other 3 in rune... :)

I actually went to GameStop yesterday. The advertisement for this promotion was right above the subscription cards for all games, and looked/was phrased just like all the other promotions they do. I'm pretty confident that this was just to get GameStop to carry them, although that may be false because they may have had them previously too... #-o

I guess the point of explaining it was so that other people wouldn't get the wrong idea if they just glanced here. In any case if I actually do have questions about why something is or isn't allowed I'll just PM Grimy.
