My Slayer setup! I take and add tools as needed, like replacing Bonecrusher with Rock Hammer for Gargoyles. The empty space here would be whatever familiar I was using. I only use ExtDef for Chaos Tunnel tasks like Fire Giants and Dust Devils. Lol I'm 99 Prayer and 91 Herblore and bought the BC and HC to not have to see all that white and green clutter on the ground.

Hey Koddo, despite the negativity in the first few comments about the Castle Wars updates, the updates in question were intended to reward veterans of the minigame, which I would guess you were, judging by your Kite. If you can remember - How many tickets did you leave with? There are now 4 sets of armor, with the 4th being a rune equivalent and granting +25% damage while in Castle Wars! This is massive, especially when you consider that this stacks with extra damage on flagbearers and that the armor also protects you from the catapult which is somewhat overpowered on large games.

I got to DG with RSW44 when he had one. I would say it's not good for rushes but if you can be bothered to make Ranged armor it would be a lot better. It was at least decent the few ( :rolleyes: ) times he used it on Forgotten Mages.

I didn't know you before, but welcome back anyway. I would agree with the first response that overall the game has improved however... At the risk of sounding overly negative, with each new update and upgrade to SOME existing content, much of the rest of the game feels worse and worse. Fortunately for you there's a ton of new activities of a standard, higher quality for you to do before you might have to or want to catch up on old things. Unfortunately, the older, neglected content seems horrible in comparison and hurts some areas of the game. Think of it like a scale - One side is new content and the other side is old content and on each side lies a stack of enjoyment. As more new content is released, more of the enjoyment from the old content side of the scale is re-appropriated to the new content side. I hope you have fun catching up though!

Wow you named my blocklist except for Fire Giants. Black Demons are rather boring, and used to be very crowded. They're like Abyssal Demons that hit harder and don't drop Abyssal Whips. Kalphites are crowded, kinda slow, no good drops... KQ solo is still difficult even with full amenities. Living Rock Creatures are a very slow task, even if they are good XP. They have no particularly good drops except their own corpses. Skeletal Wyverns hit hard, have decent Defense, and their typical drops are poor. All-in-all, they are a miserable task. Waterfiends are... Slow. Even with CM, EXT, TURM, everything... I would only do them if I bothered to do the triple charms event, but I don't, so I blocked them. Then again, you can go to Chaos Tunnels, so maybe they're quicker for you.

Wondering about Fury Kits again. I saw some selling for 100m- pure cash on RSOF, which got my hopes up just a tad that they might fall into my 'reasonable range' sooner than later.

I'm sorry, I don't know for sure either, but Dragonkin Lamps are similar, however you get more XP the higher your level is in the skill they're being applied to, so if boosted levels affected those you would get far more XP and everyone would stew to get a greater amount of XP out of them... Which they don't. So logically no!

Mercenary Gloves actually look rather nice. They were made to match with the Chaotic Ranged set. They took double agents too far...

I've successfully done this a few times but it seems to happen randomly.. Setting up the Dwarf Multicannon beneath a large monster squarely in its SPAWN center can sometimes nearly instantly KO that monster due to the same monster being hit repeatedly because of the DMC's rotation. How can I ensure that this occurs most of the time? What are some monsters that this "trick" is even useful against? - Or further to the above, what large or boss monsters can the cannon actually be set up at where they will not automatically destroy it? - - Do Mithril Dragons automatically destroy cannons?

I don't think it's even possible to hit that spec. I heard it's weaker when you use it in multi. I haven't hit *that* high, but I do find it to be rather awesome in the CT. It's amusing to down 3 Fire Giants at once. ;)

Significant? At your left you can clearly see the Stone of Jas landing site (which took a really Guthix-y path getting there) and on your right, the Mage Arena, which (as I have pointed out before, mind you ;)) has a huge symbol of Zaros in the center. - Only posting this because I just noticed the left part. Also, completely crutching at straws, the Red Dragon Isle vaguely resembles the Bandos symbol. Don't look into that one too much though.

I said the part about Dharokers, but I haven't actually tested it. It just makes sense! ;) I think it's rather okay for how it is now, or actually, if they made it degrade or cost something to use the special, it probably wouldn't be worth it! To be honest, they should have made it a drop from a new boss monster in the chamber there with the giant turtle after the quest.

I also just realized that the special attack is one of the first examples of their animations that cover multiple squares! :thumbsup:

(Coins are from alching rune picks, warhammers, addy hatchets, mith warhammers...) Why do people skip this task? It's super quick, profitable, close to a number of banks... - Oh, and all of that stuff sold max or near max instantly.

I'm still fixated on Korasi's Sword's special attack. It seems like it has the ability to drastically change Dharok prices, lol. It "always" hits, is magic based, and can certainly take out someone in Dharoks, since they're probably less than 600lp. ... So either people lose their Dharok's a lot and the prices go up, or people quit using it because someone with the sword will take them out with one hit...

javs get a bit annoying but gems are nothing, I avg 3 a trip (4 d stone drops between my acp yesterday and the one that came before) Can you get a world now without crashing/being crashed? I haven't had to crash for a world in weeks, maybe I'm just lucky but it usualy taskes 0-2 worl hops. People 'try' to crash me every so often but mostly they end up hopping after getting no kills. On the whole most people are quite nice, to me atleast, and ask how long until I'm done and if it's not soon they just hop. That probably has alot to do with my stats/gear but I never had much problems even before I had this good stats/gear. Oh, okay, great! Thanks. I guess I was right in thinking that the increased traffic at BGWD was because of the release of Elites.

I'm 100% convinced that the special attack is a "true" magic attack and not just magic melee, like the ZGS or something. Getting a lot of 500+ through melee prayer... :shades: Awesome KO weapon and far more reliable than GS or DC on thick melee armor.

The sword speeds up normal Pest Control significantly, since it seems everyone is using it right now. If you have sounds on, it's just continuous lightning strikes on every portal...

Any editing/retouch done at all? To me, it looks just like a plain screenshot by the orb of oculus. Hardly considered a wallpaper. I would give him points for picking such a unique place to take one, though.

wat? no fire cape....??? get 1..... maxed melee & no f cape thats wrong :s I have a really bad internet connection lately. So for the time being, I don't see a firecape anywhere in my near future, however I plan on slaying towards 99. That's why I was asking if it would be worth the 2k points. Is the extra damage from the fc that significant that it's needed? dont say i cant without trying just keep trying & dont say anything about bad connection because a ik i got more worest connection ever (512kb/sec) dont worry & just try Players seem to overlook the fact that at such a high level you can spec Jad out. Unfortunately you don't have 94 Magic or Turmoil, but you do have Overloads, so it's still possible, especially on task. Use Dragon Claws, protect from magic, and use Vengeance before you attack. I think that's really all there is to it.

Maby we should buy them out! :ohnoes: If you look at the picture with the portal, you can see the person in the corner is wielding one too, so possibly it's to hint that we'll be infiltrating the Black Knights! (for the 4th or 5th time? rofl)
