Cash is Junk
the economy is really going downhill.. i sold my fury/ring of stone/bss over the past week for huge profits. my net worth is somewhere around 16mil now but i'm hoping for some of these items to crash so i can buy them back.

Tip.it Times 25 October 2009
i read all three very quickly and i'm not really interested nor do i see much discussion value in them. i'm not trying to flame here either I'd just rather read something a bit more interesting.

The Running Thread
i kind of returned to runescape so expect me to be more active on this thread. george, could you send me the link to that running group? i can't seem to find any information about it but i'd be glad to add it to the first post. I'd actually be glad to add almost anything to the first post.. if anyone has any ideas let me know

The Running Thread
hey guys! glad to see everyone is running well. im impressed at those times in the 16's.. we only have 2 meets left. looks like we're settled for 4th in the district which is bad for us. i cannot break 19 no matter how hard i try and i'm just coming off a 5 day break due to sickness so ill be lucky to go under 20 tomorrow. good news is that i'm the #2 sophomore on our team now which is very respectable. i'm hoping with some hard running and very hard lifting/working out this winter i'll come out as the top guy for the 800 and i know theres only 1 or 2 other kids who will be a challenge in the 400. and yes george in the next day or so i'll add a link to that group.

Autism in Runescape
Actually I'm pretty sure autism is the #1 disorder associated with the term [developmentally delayed]. on topic with the thread: i highly doubt kids with autism are playing runescape. most of the time they are heavily monitored and i'd say only 5% or less would be able to properly play runescape. moreover, you don't see people with tourettes apologizing after they curse in public so i highly doubt these autistic kids who have (no offense) terrible social skills to begin with apologizing after they type random things in runescape.

while you guys are talking about [bleep]es, i might as well add that i'm using the nike bowerman blue/black this year and i'm not too happy with them. they were expensive and my socks get completely ruined if there is mud on the course. they're pretty light weight but next year i won't be getting another pair of nikes

The Running Thread
hey all. sorry i haven't been getting on much. my first real race of the season was a 5k invitational with teams from all over the area invited. i was 96th out of 314 people (all guys, might i add) and my time was 20:02. i did pretty well i also ran a regular schoolastic race last week, i was 27th and my time was in the low 19's. there were easily over 100 guys in this race. unbelievably i was still the 11th runner on our team. competition is very intense.

[bleep]. today we had scrimmage with just our team and i was not feelin it at all.. i finished 9th out of maybe 20 when honestly i could have pulled off 7th. it was a two mile race with plenty of hills. my first mile was 6:10 and my race overall was 12:50.. not happy with my [bleep]es either

End Game Content?
considering that now there are almost 200 people with maxed total level i think it would be a good idea for jagex to work on some more high leveled updates.. they have a forum just for maxed people don't they? i wonder what goes on in there

my practice is at 6pm which really sucks. I've been lifting everyday and my coach has been making us do near 30mi weeks. he is trying out several new things that we did not do last year, some of which seem to be helping. i am one of three sophomores that actually trains with the legitimate varsity group and although i can match their mileage i have a little bit of trouble going under a 7:15 pace, especially for longer runs. how is everyone elses season?

The Running Thread
ello, i had my first practice yesterday and it seemed as if i was about the #2 sophomore runner. we were told to run two miles, then another two miles. several people broke down around mile 3 but i was still doing pretty good. there are a few new sophomores who are pretty cool, one claims to be training for a tri, so he should make interesting competition. there were also about 15 freshmen who came out for the team, i'm glad to see there is still a lot of interest in the sport compared to football(which steals several good runners because they would rather have the status). we have a new head coach and three assistant coaches, all of whom are young and are extremely helpful. how is everyone else's team looking for this year?

The Running Thread
hey everyone! sorry i haven't been on much lately. a recap of the past month: I've basically been doing 30+ mile weeks and trying to stick to anywhere between an 8 and 8:30 pace. my birthday was on july 24th and (besides getting an xbox 360) i got a really nice pair of asics gel nimbus 11, and since then, all traces of my previous injuries have vanished  a teammate and i also decided to run an 8k (5.1mi) 'country' race to see how our training has been going. there were quite a few hills in the course but the weather was perfect. i finished first for my age-group (14-15) with a time of 38:08. i finished about 6 seconds behind my teammate (who was running the 16-17 age-group) and i was afraid to pass him in the last 400 meters because he was vomiting like mad :-# i met a lot of cool runners, and for my first race, i'd say i did pretty good. at night for the past month i've also been working out a bit. i'm doing pushups, crunches, bicycles, cobra pushups, bridges, etc and i can feel a huge difference in my upper body, core, back, and hips. i even have a slightly toned 6-pack :D practice for XC starts on monday and i'm really looking forward to it. my longest run so far this summer was today.. i ran 7 miles in about 80 degree weather. my pace was about 8:45, but i'm fine with it. thank you everybody for posting- and if i am forced to take a leave from the forums (which will probably happen once school starts) i will give the thread to someone who can manage it better than i can, but for the rest of the summer i think i should be able to manage.

The Running Thread
uh oh The good thing is it's a week or two before the XC season starts \ Other than that I get to go to a party tomorrow at the beach for our XC team :D party at the beach? lucky. I'm gonna do 4-5 miles today and probably a track workout tomorrow. yee haw

yeah i was actually wondering about that after i posted my response.. hahaha. i know this hilarious upcoming freshman.. his strategy? stay right behind the leading girl for the majority of the race then give the finish all you've got. he's a perv.

uh oh yeah there aren't many girls on my team either. i'd feel left out if i was a female. --- I've been running an awful lot and i'm seeing results. i saw an ad for an endurance supplement in a runner's world magazine. these 5 different supplements are made especially for endurance athletes. i'm looking to stay lean while still building a little bit of muscle. this supplement claims to increase cardio endurance and give more energy (there is some caffeine involved) tell me what you think: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?pr ... eIgniter4X

The Running Thread
oh hey guys sorry i haven't been getting on these forums much lately. i found a great site for mapping out running routes: http://www.usatf.org/routes/map/ check it out if you don't already use it i just got done with my first full running week since i got home from vacation. i ran 24.2 miles from saturday-saturday. according to my training schedule (given by my coach) this week was supposed to be 16 miles, so it appears i have taken my game up a notch and have somehow avoided injury. i have also been informed that the #3 xc runner in my grade may not run this coming fall due to wrestling commitments. although i'll really miss him as a teammate, this gives me a great opportunity to take the #3 spot. and also, tell me what you think about this video  [hide=WOW][yt]2xIzuyjCcZk[/yt][/hide]
