What's humorous is that, before the GE and restricted trade, I knew people (guys) who would change their character gender and go looking for BF's just to get the poor sap to give them expensive gifts ingame. Internet dating through an established and reputable dating website is one thing, but "dating" within a mmo, especially one like RS that expressly forbids exchange of personal data, is pretty sad.

Don't take my earlier post wrong, though. I consider 26k'ing to be wrong, and can't stand merchant(price manipulator) clans. I believe that the pvp statuette issue is only one reason that prices are going up. Add in summertime(already mentioned), Jagex's new macro detection system, and even the recent Chineese government ban on goldfarming, and you'll see that there are a myriad of possible contributing factors to the recent across the board price rises.

My question is, honestly, who is this harming? The whole economy is inflating at around the same rate, so, to me at least, it seems to be a "zero sum game". All areas of moneymaking are seeing rises: wood, ores, fish, slayer drops, GWD drops, barrows drops.

1) You're a few years late to complain about the rs2 pk'ing system. 2)Look at max pk hit (knockout) of the 3 combat types....mage lags way behind the other two. What you're complaining about might happen, but is very unlikely, since one splash on the part of the mage, and he's a bone plie.

So, please correct me, and point me to the area of the KB that shows that snare does any damage at all? O.K., the guy keeps you from tele'ing, then what, annoys you to red bar by snaring you.....I'm not really getting it.

Um, is it just me or am I the only one having a hard time finding the tidal wave of awesome mage pk'ing videos on YouTube? Come on, how could there not be a mountain of them out there with the fact that you can deal an awe inspiring 32 max damage per cast (with Zuriel's staff)??? :wall: :wall: :wall:

Yeah, about those non- repeating slayer tasks............ Did my kalphite assignment, go back to Lapalok and get my new assignment.....kalphites :wall: GF updates :thumbsup: p.s. Both assignments were given after the update.

sigh......and so it begins.......... :wall: what u mean SIGH is tru that RS gets bad and bad each update. What I mean is that you aren't giving any valid reasons as to why this is a bad update. BH was shut down because people were using it to RWT/trade wealth/scam people. This new system at least seems to give pk'ers back the wildy(which most wanted) along with giving them a shot at getting the other persons equipment as loot(which most wanted too). So, where's the problem? Is it wilderness pk'ing? NO. Is it BH? NO. Is it PvP worlds? NO. Is it a good enough combination of the three to satisfy most pk'ers? Hopefully/we'll see...........

To OP: Sometimes I noticed that dogs would stay aggro for ever. Just go downstairs, come back up and stay in that south corner. To TheDayRsDied: I'm not sure what exactly you're basing your posts on. I've done tons of greater tasks, both pre and post 127, and have never had any problems with them. They aren't that hard, the dogs usually weren't a problem except for the first 5 minutes, and while the loot isn't the best it's far from the worst for a slayer task

Yep, they officially killed the 26k trick. I coulda swore they said in a previous update that they didn't mind it, but this apparently isn't the case :wall: Actually, what I think they said was that it wasn't a bug, but they didn't think that it was in the spirit of the game either.

Actually, it was the advent of the G.E. that made secondary skills "go down the drain". And, TBH all this did was bring RuneScape in line with most other MMO's: by placing a value on the potential experience in said raw material. OT- It really doesn't bother me if people want to "buy" skills, it's always an option to do it yourself, and while no one else will know you did it the hard way, you will, and that should be what counts.

Not bad abby assignment so far : Only 85 more to go.....

Pretty much spent the 1st three months after visage came out killing dragons. Gained like 15 range levels.....and got exactly NO visages. So, here I am today: pick up a slayer task of 50 iron dragons. Third dragon in...and look what I get \FINALLY!!!

I've actually found, with the new slayer update, that I use karamja gloves 3, instead of lunar, to get my tasks. That way, if I get a bum assignment, I'm right there to cancel it.

Really depends on what you'll be training with it. For under 5mil whip is really the best option. Unless you are going to str train, then d scimmy. BTW.... v flail really ain't that great unless you are using the set effect on a boss.

My dad is zezima and he's level 500 Actually I'm Ratchet(Sean)'s dad. Not quite 128, but, meh. He's the one that got me intrested in RS. I've never worried about him playing RS, but he is limited(all computer use and TV too) especially during the school year. Then again I grew up spending hours playing games on my NES and my Apple IIe and I think I turned out o.k..

Ankous aren't bad, but it can be hard to find a world that's not packed.

I would always use torag top and legs for slaying. Would carry full guthan in inv(didn't want it to degrade from lots of use) for healing. Now, my torag armor sits dusty and unloved in the depths of my bank (actually guthan's is starting to get pretty dusty too). When I did use it, it was for the reasons you mentioned.....cheap and best def in the game. I could care less what anyone else had to say about it...they were just probably jealous of my hawt pot belly :D
