Cars
Well, otherwise it would be a perpetuum mobile and according to the natural laws of energy, such things cannot happen. And god damn, diesel ain't that bad.

Cars
You god damn 'Muricans and your silly laws. Actually, diesel is cheaper than gas now in a few states. And seriously, VW Polo Bluemotion gets 71 mpg combined... No hybrid can get anywhere near it. But yes, you 'Muricans can't get it. Actually your whole car industry could build a lot more fuel-efficient cars, but those CAFE rules are counterproductive. You should read Jalopnik for more about it. And I seriously can't get the American hate for diesel cars. For come on, we have a 20-years old VW Passat, that is HUUUGE, it has a 1.9 diesel engine and gets 40 MPG (American). And you have it a big deal if a car gets over 30 MPG, or at least that's what I've seen reading American car forums and websites.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Ok, if you people had the chance to see my chats with a girl yesterday and today (both lasting hours), you would laugh yourself to ribbons. I failed so hard and yet I haven't had a no yet. For an example, girl asked, why I use so much emoticons. I responded with "I read somewhere that chicks dig emoticons and it's stuck to me." But well, we both had boatloads of laughs. She is a freshman in my high school, and I am a senior this year. At least I think it's senior, when I am on my final year. Anyways, I know practically everybody there and if she chats to people about what I said this evening, I'll be out of hope in my school for probably forever. Now here's to hope that my tricks worked and I am not gonna walk to school like a total and complete douchebag and a loser tomorrow :D

Noxx, you're a freaking PILOT. That's unfair :(

What did you do today?
Been biking helluva lot lately. Easily over 600 miles last month. But that comes quite easily, since each commute to my school is automatic 40 miles ;) . Will keep on doing it 'till snow or ice or it becomes so cold that my knees can't take it anymore. Also trying to reach as many basketball practices as possible, but thus far it has only been once a week for me, while I have the opportunity for 4 times a week...

Cars
We have a tremendous amount of jokes regarding Americans and manual gearboxes here in Europe. Manuals are practically everywhere and I don't really know people who would prefer an auto. Then again, I also know maybe 1-2 people, who prefer a gasoline engine over a diesel engine... But you 'Muricans are freaking stupid in that regard :D , as a VW Polo BlueMotion gets nearly 1.5 times the MPG of a Prius and yet I haven't heard it really selling any in your country (at least compared to the Prius).

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
It's quite fun to lurk in this thread. Always getting so philosophical over the tiniest details. Needless to say, I am still single and without a hope, but I haven't actually even started looking for something. Life's been too busy this month. After that, I think I'mma have to start regularly posting again... :D

what was your first job ! ?
I worked as a helper in a dairy farm in summer. It was in Norway though. Now, 9 years later I have worked there for 8 summers and am planning to go there next year aswell. Get 2.5 average Estonian paychecks there. Quite easy job aswell. But if you are 16 and with such a situation, I have no freaking idea about what you are going to do with your life. You must have done something really bad to get kicked out of school and your own home...

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Well, it ain't that I only notice rude kids, I have been doing this queue watching for 3 years now and no year has been as bad as this one. Even 3 years ago I only had trouble for the first 2 weeks, second year for first 3 months, and now I don't even know... And the fact is that even if it is good that they get bolder, they get unbelievably rude. I mean like everyone. I can't remember anyone daring to do anything to a sophomore, when I was younger. Absolutely anything. And now...

What book are you currently reading?
The Great Gatsby. Compulsory reading, but so far I am even enjoying it.

Finally, someone shares me love for Sleeping Dogs. Incredibly awesome game, definitely worth a try.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
It would be suicidal to be biking on the road in our capital... We do have some sort of bicycle lanes, but drivers don't respect them. Specially bus drivers. I once tried riding along one and actually got hit with a bus mirror. No freaking way I am staying off the sidewalk ever since. Though luckily our sidewalks aren't packed either. And I am a very responsible bicyclist, if I see a pedestrian coming up, I slow down and if I have to, slow down to their speed or get off the bike if it gets tight. But one thing I really don't like is the fact how youth in my country have changed absolutely to worse in the last decade. The difference is so radical, that there is no possible explanation of it. Absolutely no basic politeness. 7th-graders basically spit in the face to sophomores in high school. I have to stay and guard the school cafe door for not allowing primary school students in before their allocated time. Every other day someone tries to push through with pure force. And I am a 6'7 dude with quite a sturdy frame, and they still try. Needless to say, I grab them by their shirts and drag them back out, but still. Other thing is that I am so tall and small children quite often just walk/run into my legs. It happens so often, that it freaks me out completely. And every time when I try backing down at a mall or something I step or bump into a child, at least it seems to me like that. And I can't see them creepy buggers either, cause they are so small :D

Things That Make You Smile :)
Just happened with Sleeping Dogs for me... Was really enjoyable. On another topic, I am going to my final year in high school and the preparation fuzz for Teachers' Day and the welcoming of the new Juniors. We are supposed to get them bond together and they will be our slaves, practically for a week.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Yesh, them Uncharted's are amazing. Too bad I haven't managed to grab the third one for myself yet, but when 1 and 2 are ANYTHING to go by, then it will be fantastic aswell. And I personally don't think that named character was best in Uncharted's. I liked that girl with red shirt more. Specially her accent.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Damn how I love me that Sleeping Dogs. If only the TV here could show reds and greens, I'd love it even more. But so far, I haven't had a single disappointment, even though it was the most expensive game I have ever bought and the only one I've ever bought on launch day. Still haven't beaten it, the game is massive. EDIT: Finished the main story. Still amazed. And got lots to do and collect. The story was kinda cliche, but execution was still great. Gameplay and specially fistfighting is awesome, and you will get boatloads of it.

Sometimes it really annoys me too. Specially since I do not follow Reddit or 9gag or whatever.

Impressions on FFXIII-2? I was wondering, whether to buy it or not. It's practically in bargain bins around here.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Just got Sleeping Dogs yesterday. First game I have ever bought on a launch day and no regrets. Simply awesome. It is might seem like a GTA clone, but in reality it is totally different. Simply the setting in Hong Kong is amazing. Listening to Cantonese rap while driving a bus = priceless. And as the reviewers in Kotaku have said, combat is absolute pleasure. So far, I haven't gotten into a single gunfight, since I haven't really had time to play it a lot, but the melee fighting is miles and miles above GTA. Rather reminds of Arkham City, but I'd say even more complex and rewarding than in Arkham City. I still can't get used to driving on the wrong side of the road though.

Things That Make You Smile :)
I know what you feel. I was just on a 4-day hike in Jotunheimen, which you might know from one Marvel comic series. In reality, the mountain range is in Norway though. We were telting every night and we got caught in a snowstorm on the last day of July. Kinda awesome ;)

Sorry to be a bit out of time, but who are the Vikings you were referring to on the last page? Do you mean tall, pretty, blond dudes from Scandinavia and so?

Personal Care/Hygeine?
Just the second to last post before you. What is it with people not reading the thread and making such claims? On anything?!?!?

Personal Care/Hygeine?
Ok, seems like I might be to least "hygienic" person so far. I shower according to need. Meaning, I shower after every basketball practice on schoolyear (that used to be 5 days a week though, but that was til the end of this season, don't know about new one yet) + after every PE class or whenever I have ridden to town (10 km's one-way and I have the habit of testing my speed every time that I return, meaning I get sweaty). And also before every time I go out on weekends, which happens like once every other weekend. On summers, I shower after every workday. And I feel like it is enough, since on weekends I just sit inside at the computer, doing nothing. Living like a hermit anyway. For body care I use whichever men's shower gel we happen to have handy at the time. ATM, it is Nivea Sports. I don't use shampoo, since it [bleep]s up hair and my hair is a bit too short for it. I also generally don't use deodorants, since I don't feel the need for it and it very definitely [bleep]s up the microclimate beneath armpits. However, every time I go to somewhere special I put on some edT. Currently my one is edT by Kenzo, [bleep]ing amazing that thing. Only gotten compliments. But I rather have the thought of "Less is More", as like my mother says, "nothing smells as good as cleanliness". I don't use any shaving cream or stuff either, my stubs grow very slowly and I just shave with an electic shaver whenever I feel like it is too long or when I head out somewhere. I brush my teeth normally every morning, and have never felt the need to brush 2 times a day. I don't work out, not at home, nor at a gym, at least not regularly. There were times when I'd tried doing push-ups or whatever, but I've never hanged onto it for more than 2-3 weeks at a time. One part of it is that I am at quite a good shape anyway because of my physical work during the summer and basketball practices otherwise around the year. And the need to ride a bicycle to the nearest town, since I have no drivers' license. Yet. Exercising as general is pretty much those 5 bball practices a week and 2 PE classes a week, even though later in spring it is quite hard to manage 5 practices, cause of all the exams and such. Next year it will be harder, since my coach left after this season and I will be graduating high school. I have quite something of a mania with washing hands though. I was them every morning and ever evening before and after getting to/out of bed, every time after I visit the bathroom, every time before eating, and randomly at times, whenever I have touched anything remotely dirty (including computers). Even with my "lack" of showering I have never been told I smell or anything, even after not having a shower for 3 days or more. I've never had a strong body odour, not even during puberty, and I certainly don't have now. Even though my pubescent brother smells like shit even after 1 day without a shower. Quite opposite, I've had compliments for smelling really good. While sweaty. And not having used deodorant. And just having my edT by Kenzo on.
