Once-in-a-while art dump.
Well, at least you are trying. That Papa sketch looks good. Really like a human, to say the least. Only needs some lips... Otherwise proportionally it looks fine.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
The fact that some information that is basically mandatory to know of is shared sometimes only through FB. Case in point = our school choirs' recent trip to Germany. The GDocs link where everyone had to submit document information was only available through FB. Events only announced through FB aswell. Oh, and I am getting truly annoyed by how [kitty] I myself am...

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I have a tendency to fall on any steps, partially thanks to my habit of running down taking 2 steps at a time and me having size 12.5 for you Americans sized feet. 47.5 for Europeans.

As opposed to someone who said he hates low stairs 2 pages back and takes them 2-3 steps at a time, I take regular steps 3 steps at a time. I am namely 2 metres tall. And think about how many steps I am supposed to take if the steps are lower.

Today...
Temperatures went from +1 to -12 degrees yesterday. All the roads are simply black ice all around. Today had to walk 10 km's to basketball practice since transportation is on strike to support teachers' strike (biggest strike in country's history, and basically only meaningful one). Managed to fall really badly on that ice, knee is [bleep]ed up.

Today...
Today, I got chosen to be one of 2 people from my country to spend a week in Portugal almost for free in the start of April. Am quite happy atm, specially 'cause I am leaving for Germany on Friday, no school tomorrow, 18th birthday (meaning EVERYTHING available, 'cept casinos) on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday as only school days next week, classmates b'day Wednesday night, skiing trip to country's best ski resort on next Thursday and me celebrating my b'day on the next Saturday.

Psychedelic Backgrounds
You have posted the photo of which you did the field one, right? Me thinks it was a panorama, nice to see it used after so long time. Quite creepy, trying to figure out how you did most of those.

What would that "seediest" person mean? Sorry, not too familiar with American English. Anyways, today (or now, yesterday) was our national finals for this year's Eurovision song contest. Sad to admit that the best song on it wasn't one that competed, instead it was one of the extra acts that were on during voting time and it was actually an ancient movie song. I wonder what is it with that that nearly all songs are of alternative sorts...

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
If you change shirts and underwear there is no reason you should shower yourself more often than every other day. It is the other case if you work in some sort of hot/tropic area though... Temperatures are... moderate for the most of the time here, and I work even further up north so I end up never having to shower more often than every other day. Simply because I don't sweat nearly at all to keep body temperature. And I am lucky to have really mild smell on my sweat aswell, can wear my training shirts for a few practices if I dry them up. I hate that I have the habit of simply writing/saying whatever comes on my mind, no matter the situation... Has caused me A LOT of trouble.

Today...
We get foots of snow on some rare days and in my 11 years of school there hasn't been a single occurrence of a snow day. We do have "cold holidays" though. When temp outside is less than -20 for grades 1-6 and less than -25 for grades 7-9. No cold holidays for high school though. EDIT: Degrees are in Celsius, of course.

What do you do when you're left home alone?
Will, I freak out everyone around me with my voice. It is so low, contrabass levels. Good for singing in school choir 'cept I can't get the higher notes for bass... :wall: That's how low my voice is. And my voice is loud. And it creates like a noise that most people can't understand and I have to say it many times. And my pronunciation is bad. And I get to embarrassing situations like that every day.

Today, I found a god damn awesome web page for anyone in fear of rejections: http://rejectiontherapy.com/ It is quite old, but I read through it all over the last few hours and it is simply so damn good that I need to share it here instead of the advertising thread. I am planning on taking on the challenge to get 31 rejections next month ;)

Eat if I have something to eat. Sleep. Work out a bit. But, generally I am not home alone.

Today...
Was a helluva time and would've been a bit nicer if I wouldn't be just 2 weeks from being 18 (drinking age) and my classteacher hadn't rubbed it in my nose 6 times during the trip. But on the bustrip back home she was partying with all of us. Oh, and one more hint, Kaunas isn't great as a tourism destination. There aren't any great sites besides a museum for devils, the new Kaunas algiris arena and 2 shopping malls that aren't that huge.

Things That Make You Smile :)
When I'm singing in my choir. I am the contra-bass, the lowest of them all and it literally shakes the ground when I make my lower tones. Can't deny my voice is quite powerful aswell. Oh and that you can't sleep cause you are too happy? Today, in the morning I had been 22 hours up and had freaking hard times during those (read: choral competitions with another performings and a 9 hour bustrip) and I still managed to sing our concert repertoire and some extra songs many-many-many-many times over in my head while trying to get some sleep. I was quite drunk too, so that might've helped, but still

Today...
Today, I arrived home quite madly drunk at 6 AM. We got back from Kaunas in Lithuania, where we on a choir music festival. Needless to say, our choir got the [bleep]ING GRAND PRIX ON A [bleep]ING INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION!!!!!!!!!!! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ 96 points out of 100, jury was composed of 3 music doctors, 2 of them from Lithuania, the head organizer and Robert Delgado who some of you may know as somewhat of a god in the choral music. He has been in the jury for the whole European choral championships, he is 2 times doctor methinks, and he has written over hundreds of choral versions of various songs. And our small and humble school choir got long-lasting standing ovations, we had to do extra songs and it was freaking AMAZING! We were there since Thursday and on Friday we had another concert and it coincided with our national Independence Day that even Google celebrated so we sang the national anthem and it was quite teardropping to see some members of the audience and the main proclamator quietly sing along. On Saturday was the main competition and we did brilliantly as you could understand so you can guess that the celebration on the bus trip home got quite freaking awesome and to the end I was really-really drunk for the first time in 3 months... Oh, and it was my first ever trip abroad with this choir, so I can just say: Veni. Vidi. Vici.

Vladamir Putin arrested? [confirmed fake]
Well, I live in Eastern Europe and I've learnt Russian for 5 years so I can quite positively say that it is Russian. Though it might be some kind of a dialect, she pronounced some stuff... weirdly. Might be cause she read it that fast though. But that man there definitely ain't Putin, I've seen real Putin's face too much on TV

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Well, you are so deeply into this monogamy/polygamy thing atm... But really, I still have no idea as when a girl likes me or even considers me a future proposition...

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Ok, a bit OT here, but can anyone refer me to the pages where that someone had masses of great flirting tips and techniques and information? Who made like blog posts on it or something? Since I really don't want to browse through 500+ pages...

Today...
Went skating with the class, and didn't make the move on a girl. Bball competitions tomorrow, have a 1400 word paper to write due previous Monday, tbh, and STILL haven't gotten around to write it. Seriously hope teacher is sick enough to stay home tomorrow, he left on half the schoolday yesterday.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
For that, I'd say touching. Seemingly random, yet thoughtfully performed. Simple touch to the hand like simply passing by, fixing a girl's hair, picking a straw/hair whatever off shoulder, foot-tag under a table :). Yet, I am too shy to try those things, too afraid of I don't know what.
