  1. Renders: http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pid=49397&fullsize=1 http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pid=49432&fullsize=1 So 2 sigs this time, to keep you busy. Same rules as last time, no text, in forum size limits and in size that fits forum rules.
  2. Actually, I don't mind that snow and cold that much if I only were a bit shorter. See, I am 6'9 or 200 cm's tall and I have my computer in a room that is at about 2-3 degrees Celsius atm. If I wear 2 blankets, I'll be totally fine, except my toes and fingers get all red and start hurting after a very little time... I sleep in that same room, but then I don't have to be in a sitting position and 3 blankets are enough. I could cope with 2, but since I am so tall I need one just to have on my feet, since all blankets are too short for me -_- . And another thing, today we had that freaking glass ice or whatever you call it everywhere on the roads in the city. It snowed a wee bit on the last few days even at temperatures below -25 degrees Celsius, and cars drove it solid on the roads so that even the articulated bus that carries 200 people had wheelspin exiting stations and nearly passed all stations a few metres with ABS braking very noticeable. And bus has all-weather tires and double ones in the middle. And I am not even going to talk about the Merc minivan my dad drives for work. Drifting practically anywhere in the city unvoluntarily? You've got it.
  3. The fact that it is so [bleep]ing unreasonably cold in here. -32 degrees, and it has been around -25 for over a week... Speaking Celsius btw. What is this, new ice age? Can't remember such cold before...

Nice having a cold weather streak here with whole last week having -20 degrees Celsius or even less. And my room has no heating. 3 blankets ftw!
  5. Not really. You have really nice looking grass aswell, even though it might be lacking a bit in detail.. Wish I could do it that well. And I have never dared to try a human besides that Nomad attempt. But Nomad was half-covered with that scarf and he was bald.
  6. Apparently ;)
  7. That is not a render. Render has transparent background and is generally high quality, without any noise. Yours looks jpg'fied.
  8. Doublepost much? Still, I remain to my point that the D-Pad is nigh unusable for anything needing precise input on the X360 controller... And I do prefer the joystick placement for shooters, but for anything else PS3 controller just feels better for me. Even though I have massive hands (I am a giant, I am freaking 6'9 tall just fyi) I can just hold on to that remote and keep it up without my hands being supported on anything for prolonged durations, whilst X360 remote is just too heavy for it.
  9. The fact that there are a million different video formats out there and I just happen to have a million clips that I need to turn into a movie that are in a format no normal video making software will touch. And can't convert it into anything reasonable aswell...

No [bleep]ing lag in there... Was amazing, I managed to be in on the last 15 mins.
  11. Wow, no wonder you beat me so hard if you have played like 7 times the amount of days I have. Too much computer is not good for you. Play football and swim in the warm springs you have there! God how I wish we had anything resembling that stuff here... I'd be willing to walk lots of kilometres daily to reach those springs.
  12. The faster loading times won't work when it is saved on a regular HDD... Needs to be on the SSD. But the capacity of SSDs is large enough to store most games and the OS there, for multimedia and stuff is the regular HDD. Fire_R_A_G_E knows what he is talking about, listen to him. And yeah, Intel's motherboards suck, quite frankly.
  13. Pitbike is a really small motorcycle, max wheel size is 14 inches, methinks. They are mostly made in China and because of their cheapness they are really popular around here. The national championships had over 60 competitors this year (from a population of 1,3 million people). It is also raising in popularity elsewhere in Europe and in the States aswell. You could do a google search on them, pics show what they are, I am quite sure you have seen one or at least heard about it with a different name or sth.
  14. Having been in Egypt and travelled from Luxor to Cairo on a local train on daytime, I can say that at least this country is mostly villages situated next to the river Nile. Cairo itself looks a lot like the capital of my country, Tallinn, when we got free from Soviets. Except for the subway, of course. It was the cleanest subway I have ever travelled in, though my experience is based on London and NYC subways, that I've heard aren't the nicest. But really, it just shines and it is a major contrast with anything else in the city, as above the ground you can feel and smell and hear that you are in a giant city in Africa. I have no idea what Southern America, Australia and Asia look like, though. As for Europe I can say that it is mostly urban areas, even larger than in the US. Industry is everywhere.
  15. I am doing that pixel avatar of yours, up to outlines atm, but don't have time to refine it, too much other stuff going on atm. So don't lose hope yet! ON topic of Offroading, I have tried riding pitbikes with my friend a few times, on special tracks though. Epic fun, specially for a newbie ;) . But it also tires arms within first 5 minutes if you haven't had special training before...
  16. It is quite a big difference. Specially when loading big stuff, like maps in SC 2. SSD's are about twice faster, if not even more.

Nah, they find it just hilarious. On another topic, did 90 push-ups within 6 minutes and hence got my total for last night (it's been 25th for 3 minutes now) up to a hefty 250 pushups. Can say I am proud of it, but I am afraid of waking up in the morning, since my chest-muscles hurt like a [bleep] already.

Today, been trying to get those 10 push-ups per post back on track. So far have made 160.
  19. No comments. Your b'day came too soon, couldn't prepare a thing. Share some of that green p'hat wealth, plox? 25m bank talking.

Today, had another bball match. With men we won a team called "Basketball Bears". Won on OT with 2 points, methinks, quite a nice game.
  21. Even my 3.2 dual-core is struggling at times on RS, specially when there is more happening...
  22. How can it save feelings? Being left in the unknown hurts helluva lot more...
  23. On topic of PS3/360 controller quality I think have to say a few things. Close friend has gone through 5 360 controllers, yet not a single PS3 one has been broken. The first thing to be broken on 360 controller is the stick. Simply doesn't get back to the center anymore and is loose... The D-pad in 360 is simply horrible, terrible, bad thing. Why is it even there if it sucks so hard? So mushy and all over the place and unresponsive (Yes, I play fighters with original pads)... PS ones are a lot better. I've had my PS2 for 7 years now and the original controller is still in top condition and it got a lot of hard work on it. I personally even might prefer 360 controllers because of the stick position on shooters, yet anywhere else I like PS's placement better.
  24. As long as I know, it is better to follow a strict routine to the very end of the session, and then put it all out just before leaving. Then extra stretches and off you go. That way you can also see the improvement easily.

No tipping here in Estonia. Absolutely none, except only for restaurants aimed at tourists. Everything is paid for as much as is written on the cheque/label. Yet I know that for example in Egypt tipping can get you a long way. And sometimes you can't get something you paid for in advance without tipping.
