I envy all of you who can tan... We had frost and negative degrees out here last night.

Was a funny saturday. Lost national quizzing championships for students by one single [bleep]ing question. After that, we had our own version of a quiz where a shot of vodka had to be taken for every correct answer. 39 correct answers AT LEAST had to be given. By the end, 4 out of 10 contestants were unable to be taken contact with. I have never seen a 30-year old man crawling and mumbling like a baby. Someone puked outside. Today, national final exam in Estonian. Three first topics for the essay were rubbish. I had almost lost hope and then I saw the last one. About nature preservation. In the end had to cross out a page, since my essay was too long and I couldn't rewrite it whole. Hope to get AT LEAST 80/100. If I don't get it, I'mma rage and appeal.

Yesterday, rode my bike for 40 km's and walked 20 km's. And went to a party and got me drunk on absolutely zero money. Friends (y) Tomorrow, 2 quizzes. First up, national student's championship in quizzing. My team is a favourite. After that, our own "rough" quiz. Rough, as in after every correct answer a shot of vodka must be taken. And 33 correct answers are required to finish the quiz. Quite a killing, don't you think? :D

Well, Canada may be 220 Estonias but out of my head I can name 4 cable operators and I know there are lots more. Plus we have 3,5G or HSDPA coverage practically everywhere. And 4G in every larger town and on highways. And public wifi in practically every cafe and restaurant and shopping mall. And the prices are generally low. If I didn't live in the [bleep]ing hellhole where I live right now (in the middle of a forest, 2 km's from nearest village), I could get 150 MBit/s internet for 10€ per month.

That game was Enalaved: Odyssey to the West. And I freaking love my schoolweek now, first and only lesson at 3 pm.

I can't imagine people having warnings on TIF... Anyways, tonight I cried. For a video game. For the first time in my life. I have only ever cried for like 5-6 times for movies. So this is something special. And this game will probably never have a sequel, since it didn't sell. Even though critics loved it. I love it. The story, the voice acting, the motion and emotion capture, the visuals, Andy Serkis... I did a research paper about storytelling on video games. I should have played this game before writing it..l

Snow? In other news, today went on a quiz against the members of the Parliament of Estonia. My team got beaten with the very last question by one point. But the quiz was won by the team from my old school, so still felt good. Also, my Enslaved: Odyssey to the West finally arrived. Freaking postal workers hadn't figured out where to leave thenote, with the right post office closed and some newbies instead. But the game is awesome. Andy [bleep]ing Serkis.

School is over. Well, regular high school, now we only have consultations for exams which start next week. God damn I feel relieved. And I have terrible self-esteem issues.
  10. Does anyone else think like this has more or less been a thread of ramblings by RPG and muggi? I have nothing against it.
  11. Is there anything more American then donuts and overweight cops? For the rest of the world, they are doughnuts and slim and muscular cops :) Anyways, heard the 2 guys from Chechnya were caught and are tried. Good that they were caught so fast. And I don't support cams on public transport aswell. In public places, yeah, be my guest, but on a busride or a train ride home, I'd like to sleep and mind my own business. There are enough other people around to stop anything serious from happening and yet I don't feel like being watched, which cameras make me feel. I cannot sleep under cameras.
  12. I hate it how those pop-ups we've been talking about only have appeared when on mobile or on my iPad. And then on full website version, not mobile version. Oh, also, I am annoyed by that mobile version. Feels counterintuitive, I don't know why, but I prefer the full version on my phone and tablet.

Yesterday, had this LAN I was talking about some time ago. Played CS and LoL and Fifa. Never thought I would own in CS and somewhat in LoL. Also, somewhat failed on the choral competition. Do not know the exact standings but we didn't win our category.
  14. The fact that TIF has pop-up ads that my iPad opens in a new tab. Like, why? WHY?

Tim, in case you didn't know, nearly all fertilizers are flammable. And almost all of the unidentified explosive devices in Iraq and Afghanistan are made out of fertilizers. In a bit larger quantities they are very easily explosive as is seen in this video. Today, Tallinn 2013 international choral festival competiton part. I have been sick for a week so I have no idea what is left of my voice, but yesterday I heard that the bass group was in a total loss without me. Everyone got lower than they should and in one song in one bass solo everyone but me comes in a bit late. I can fix that. Hope to get a reasonable spot at that choral festival...

Ship. Just. Got. Real. Saw the best video game trailer I have ever seen, for a small Paradox game called Leviathan Warships. I mean, I watched it over 7 times. So awesome. Otherwise, uneventful day with me playing 6 hours of ME 2 and staying at home, sick.
  17. Estonian dude replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
I like how you guys have only now brought up my nationality about which I've been talking for ages... In other news, still home, 'cause sickness. Playing some good old Mass Effect 2.
  18. In our news programmes the Irani-Pakistani earthquake actually came first. It also is somewhat of a bigger deal than this small bombing in Boston. You only had 3 dead people, they might have 30 000.
  19. In our news, it was said that 2 exploded and 5 unexploded charges in addition were found in Boston area... And that the authorities had received tips about the situation but because it was so important marathon no specific precautions like cancelling it were taken. Also the news said that it is most likely action of radical Americans, not some foreign terrorist group.

Try size 13,5. Nothing is available in regular shoe stores, since everything ends at 12 or 12,5. Only from sports stores I can get shoes. I actually have boots sized 14,5 that fit me quite well and which I got from the large size leftover sales.

6.50€ per month. But we don't have Grooveshark and other such things in Estonia and electronic stuff in general is a lot more expensive here than it is in USA, so I am happy. But for that 6.50 I can also listen offline and on my phones and tablets.
  22. Estonian dude replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
I meant, it is free aswell, but the paid Premium version is cheaper here than it is in Sweden.
  23. Estonian dude replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Today, Spotify came to Estonia! Tbh, I had it 2 years ago on Swedish account and with the Swedish prepaid cards, but still. Here in Estonia it is cheaper.

Today, I finally finished Red Dead Redemption. Have had this game for almost 2 years now though. Massive game. Gonna 100% it soon, at around 95% now. Freaking titles scroll for minutes... To be honest, I restarted from scratch twice, once for my HDD got corrupted and the second time about a month ago, just to experience the whole thing while fresh. Otherwise, fairly uneventful day. Had 2 tests, spent an hour ignoring that one [bleep] and chatted with other people and just generally rested from the weekend.

Ok, I was quite liberal with everyone, but at least Ginger and Berenice have both mentioned that US laws on the issue are lacking. And they are the main discussers here, or at least they bring out the longest walls of texts with most facts. And I have read this thread from the very beginning, practically every post. And Gio, I was around TIF then and I sometimes got lost to the OT aswell. I was just lurking, not posting then. I have been lurking these forums for years before I made my account.
