Don't want to sound like a Nike commercial, but JUST DO IT! Grab from any chance you can get. I know you don't have money, but that doesn't keep you from doing wacky and fun stuff. If you are doing crazy stuff, you will be more interesting to not only yourself, but to others aswell. Damn, I got a friend out of snowboarding on Friday who I am planning to go snowboarding again with as much as possible.
  2. Some sort of pain in knees is fairly regular, when I was practicing more actively I had such a thing daily. It depends a lot on your age. If you are 17 or under, then it is quite normal and shouldn't be anything to worry about. Until it starts hurting during practices aswell.

Just had my hair cut. Feels freaking awesome. Also, back from 2 days away from civilization and going snowboarding again tomorrow. This time for the first time on my own initiation and most probably alone.

Yesterday was an adrenaline fest. Went snowboarding. 4th time on snowboard in my life. And I went to the park and started jumping and raced down a skier. Without a helmet, goggles or a hat and on rented snowboard. Damn, I've gotta buy me one this summer...

Dudes, the hill I am going to is only like 200 metres. Highest in the country, but my country is flat. And for [bleep]s sake, ai just can't drink as much as a few years back. Starts coming up and resisting much earlier.

Party up! No sober day in sight. But unfortunately O can't get as drunk to not remember last evening.... but anyways, no sober day in sight. Going snowboarding in 4 hours and I am drunk. Just love me mates.
  7. I am actually changing. But as I've said, it happens slowly. Too [bleep]ing slowly. 2 years ago I wouldn't have imagined about kissing a girl. Now I've done it and not even only once. But the progress is still slow... But decided to finally give the rejection therapy a go. And start exercising again.
  8. Nope. She was out of my league from the start. I actually didn't even hope too much before I started talking with other people who told me to go for it.
  9. Ok, I am officially a [bleep]ed up person and I should never get a girl. As in, I just got rejected. Again. And I heard LOTS of bad stuff about me...
  10. AoE II is quite simply awesome. The expansion was The Conquerors btw. But I seriously hope it gets something better added, a truly HD version would be great. But truth be told, even the original has aged fairly well, better than any other game from that time as long as I can remember, looking great even now. And the original can now be played on practically any existing machine...
  11. I know I am a scumbag. But I also know that I am alone, of a breed on a brink of extinction. Homosexuals don't have such a problem. Being an Estonian is about the only thing making me unique. Granted, I know a few more Estonians on TIF, but none on OT. And I am of such controversial character, I have my own controversial views and I am not afraid to show them. Sorry if I might hurt some of you, but I actually honestly think TIF is probably the place where I feel most free in my sayings. It is only place for me to discuss such topics at all, since when I argue with someone IRL, I have done it so much that nearly everyone I know frowns on me for that. And also they don't like my views.

No, but I'd imagine knowing one of the greatest chess players of all time, specially since he is on the news here for all the time because he is also in the Russian opposition should make him a valid candidate for being one person an intellectual human being should have at least heard of.

Winter > thin ice on ponds > insert stupid kids walking on it > ice-cold story.
  14. I am not even anti-gay or anything. I personally know a few gay people and I get along with them. Just like with any other normal human being. Only thing that I don't like is how they always whine how their rights are broken or whatever. And gay parades and other such stuff. And the fact that most of them have to announce their homosexuality everywhere. Ok, I may be a bit harsh here, but it is my personal opinion. If you are a gay, be a gay, you just don't have to proclaim it everywhere. The same like how I don't proclaim everywhere that I am a heterosexual. I know that this thing really can't be compared, but I don't give a damn. I just think that this whole thing is way over-blown. As I said, marriage is a legal contract just like any other and I don't see why there should be any limits to it. I personally am actually of opinion that every single person is bisexual when they are born, but society forms us and hormones kick later in that determine our sexuality. So yeah, seriously this thing has just a huge bell hanged onto it.
  15. As an atheist, I have no idea what all this fuzz is about. I personally do not like gay people, but I can tolerate them and I don't frankly care what they do. I'd say let them marry, it is just one legal contract anyways nowadays, who gives a damn.
  16. I still have the problem, that on the internet I am a much more open person. And that with everybody, including people I personally know. It is like 2 realities. I speak with my friends more openly online and I speak with girls that I know and see daily even almost exclusively online. I just don't dare to start a face to face conversation. And it is hard for me to keep one up over 5 mins in real life. While over the internet I've had chats lasting more than 12 hours. With girls. Of course, then there are the usual eating and bathroom breaks, but it is consistent talking. And yet I cannot speak IRL. With girls I mean, with boys I have no trouble at all.

Today, I listened to Garri Kasparov hold a speech in Tallinn University. Was interesting. And above all I was totally surprised that people in my class, in one of the elite schools, top 5 school in country didn't know who he was.
  18. One more example of the coldness and closedness of my people : if there are empty seats on public transportation, but a stranger is sitting on the next seat, most people just stand up and prefer that to sitting next to a stranger. Some people go as far as putting all their bags and clothing on the seat next to them just to make sure that nobody sits next to them.
  19. I wasn't trying to be hostile or anything. I just have a lot of rage boiling inside of me because of my own stupidity and because our girls are so... Like god damn, I know, I am an awesome dude and I have been liked by girls, why can't they just show it out more visibly so that I could get it?
  20. Yes, it does. Otherwise there would be no jealousness, would there? It is something only really close friends and family and couples do. It is like the utmost thing before a kiss. Haven't I mentioned that we are also really cold and closed people? Like absolutely nowhere as open as you? We don't even talk about relationships really, this forum has more information about me than probably any single living being. One example: one American girl grabbed one of our choirboys from the masses of people to give a hug and have a few last words. Every single [bleep]ing Estonian noticed it. It is something like a miracle here, it just doesn't happen. Girls have absolutely zero initiative. Guys have to do everything. As I explained to an American, I have to poke a girl with a stick to make her say a word. I am amazed at how the Estonian people haven't gotten extinct by now. And it explains how our native population right now is lower than it was in 1900.

Today, gonna perform with an American choir in a church here. And I am quite dead and my voice is off, cause I have had really active last few days and not nearly enough sleep. I fell asleep wih my clothes on last night...
  22. Yeah, I understood that mingling point. So nothing will happen with Americans either. Means I will have to try with Estonians who are way more closed and cold than Americans. But yeah, girls from our choir noticed that I got hugged by numerous Americans and I could sense jealousness ;)
  23. Who said 15? They were 17. And I am 19. But still, that is difference enough for not parents to like any mingling,
  24. Aaaand the meeting went not so well... Turns out them Americans were all younger than I was, some by quite a bit and so no one was allowed to do anythng alone. They had a massive amount of parents along supervising and so we couldn't really do anything... They were also late by quite a bit, so we had way too little time to just chat. Like 10 mins maybe. BUT, I got to talk with who I think was the hottest chick around. And before we left I got hugs from like 5 Americans. Which was weird, cause only my mate and me got hugs. That should be good, right? And apparently I made myself noticed to everyone, including some parents. And we still have some time tomorrow, I hope.
