    Randoms on PVP

Can I ask - Why does everyone say that there is too many randoms?! I would be *lucky/unlucky* to get 1 about... every FORTNIGHT? How often do people get randoms anyway?
  2. Lvl 40 combat pure < lvl 40 range pure. I've died more than a few times from picking on the small kid... Bad mistakes.
  3. Use a dictionary. I was 1 wildy level from dying the other day. 1 mote step north, and I'd have been crossed OUT. On the aspect of pk, I love it. The problem, though, is the crowd around the castle. More laggy than the ge, tbh, and then everywhere else is deserted! I don't get why they have to be so LAZY.
  4. If it involves the old *kerching* then DEFINATELY. Combat - mostly. Skiling - sometimes. Questing... let's not talk about that.

    pvp affecting ge

It may be just me, but if I go to buy anything, I can't get it on max, and if I sell something on min, noone buys. This is addy stuff, and my own personal preference for pk - cheap and not bad protection at my level.
  6. "Quick" chat. Pull the other one Jagex. -_-" Right, I am here to rant about Quick Chat. I have no problems with people using it, muted, can't be bothered to type, underage, whatever, I don't mind. My problem is that it takes so long to make a conversation with it, or say anything! Maybe it's just me, but it's SLOWER than typing out the message. First, you must figure out WHERE the thing you want to say is, find it isn't there, try somewhere else, find it then say it. The person you are talking to has probably by now gone away tired waiting. PLEASE Jagex, make it faster to use! Or is it just me failing?

    The Friend's 5k.

It's not really the MONEY that I'm angry about - it's the whole "betrayal" end of it. I mean, 5k is nothing to me.

    The Friend's 5k.

    1. Trade limits have been increased, I'm sure you all know. people with no quest points can now give/recieve 5k. 2. My level has increased, and income has increased, meaning I've indulged myself, getting some guilded items of armour. I now see more and more green at the grand exchange. That's the set up for the situation that's happened 3 TIMES in 1 WEEK. First time: Enter UB0RPK3R2002. (not a real name, but that's what we'll call him, ok?) UBOR is level 62, and he comes up to me and asks if we can be friends, and go to the mossies in Varrock dungeon. I say, "Why not?" So off we go. We kill some. He's low on health, and asks for food. I give it to him, fair enough. He gives me some of the big bones in return. Why not bury them? Hm... Anyway, we kill some more, and then he asks, "can I haz 5k p0x". I exit, leaving him (who has by now run out of food and his hp is dropping rapidly) and annoyed. The second: Mining (one of my favourite things to do) and someone asks if they'll "be my friend". I, being rather kind natured and foolish, say yes. They, of course, ask for 5k. Bye, bye, nice knowing you, you're now on my ignore. Third time: Not quite the same, but still. Woodcutting this time (Yes, I like to do EVERYTHING.) and someone asks if they could woodcut with me. (At seers, btw.) We're cutting away and all of a sudden: "can I haz ur mapels pox to gt m wcin up?" Now, this makes me morally disgusted. These people are willing to pose as friends - people who you feel would generally be good company when doing dull tasks, and then the turn round looking for money. It was NEVER as bad as this before the 5k limit was introduced. So, I'm worrying if that was a good idea or not. Have you had any such experiences? Do you agree that these people are morally empty? Give your views.
  9. It's serious if YOU want it to be. I think that says it all.
  10. Price manipulation is a good thing. It's the people who cannot take the extra 3 minutes of research that lose, and the ones that will (naturally) be angry at the others
  11. Get everything to 99, then try again. On a serious note, those people are annoying, and I deal by saying, "Why aren't you using it?" That quickly shuts them up/logs them off/makes them go away.
  12. Adamant is worse, it has adam, addy and adamant.
  13. No, it only causes good effects. :) And bots would also need to be sophisticated to act in the way of the action commands as well.
  14. How about adding a "Parent Lock" option, where the parent changes the level and locks it with a 4 number code, just incase little Jimmy learns any words.
  15. What if you moved your mouse a cerain way in a skill, you would perform the task better? Or get more exp? Instead of me explaining it, I'll give examples. Attack/Strength/Defence: Stab - Move your mouse sideways. 25% chance of hitting 10% more. Slash - Move your mouse diagonally from top left to bottom right. 25% chance of hitting 10% more. Block - Move your mouse upwards. 25% chance of hitting 10% more. Fishing: Move your mouse down, chance of catching a fish in that stroke 25%. Firemaking: Light your fire faster by shaking your mouse from side to side. Woodcutting: Shake your mouse over the tree. 50% chance of speeding up chopping times 2x. Mining: Shake your mouse over the rock. 10% chance of 2 ores. Fletching: Shake your mouse up and down. 50% of speeding up fletching times 2x. Cooking: Make circles with your mouse for less chance of burning. Prayer: Move your mouse down quckly when burying bones to get 2x exp. Smithing: Like above. There could be others, but I can't think of any. What do you think? It would be optional, but for those who want a bit more excitement in their Runescape, it's perfect.
  16. And the bones to hide what was previously said by him.
  17. I suppose Runescape would be the lesser of two evils. Compare these statements: "I killed a few demons, got some cool equipment and sold it for a few million gp." "I just killed 31 Level 101 Demons, got the Great Godsword of Gunthax, traded it for a Great Demon Mage Swordstaff of Air, which I then sold for more than the profit that I would get for my GGG, and got 3,106,534 gold pieces. I used this to level up my Rune Crafting skill, and now I'm number 5 in the whole world. IT'S NOT A GAME, IT'S MY LIFE!" Do you get my point? It could be a life-taker-overer game where you buy stuff in real life to get stuff in the game, with an attached card and dice game, but the makers decided to make it a cool, not really very nerdy game which you get to KILL STUFF. People say it's nerdy, I say nothing and play it without anyone knowing. It doesn't change the way people see me, but if they knew they would see me as "The Computer Nerd". (Which they do, 100% in my IT exam...) So, yeah. You could be out killing grannies with a gang and on 20 knives, or you could be on the computer sociolising and setting targets for yourself. You choose.
  18. If you say something sucks, it is filtered. I've been lucky - the few times I've accidently said it, people haven't noticed. If Mr. Wannabe Mod comes along, hide. He'll report, and he'll report BAD. Also, look at this. What do you see? ** ****** MY SCHOOL Can you thing of any time two words of (2,7) would be censored. You immediately think of my school. Therefore, my school being censored = FUTILE. Again, look at this: I'm on my ***** and playing runescape at the same time. I rest my case.

    Need 3k

I was lured into someone wanting 3k. He took me to his house, made me tea, gave me pizza (2 pinapple) and asked for 3k. I can't express what I was felling but: -_- He had a house (quite large), VOLINTARILY gave me stuff, and then asked for 3k. I said [hide=What did I say?]No.[/hide] He said: WHAY ITZ NT MCH MONY. If "ITZ NT MCH MONY" WHY ASK FOR IT? GET IT YOURSELF! I just ran out with my pizza. (Which I sold, as a "Ha Ha Ha" moment.) I reminiss now and again. I started with nothing. (Literally, I took out the gold in my bank in tutorial island, and you lose it. -_-) I never begged, borrowed or stole, I made it. I was told I was poor by a level 90 at the scorpions in Al Kaharid. And after that, I was never the same. But that's another story. Now go to sleep.
  20. I didn't read that bit in the middle. Rant if you want to rant, but don't rant about other people ranting. However you can rant about people ranting about people ranting. I've just gone crosseyed.
  21. I don't play Fist of Guthix. It's a rubbish game with 6 year olds that are too afraid to play Bounty Hunter and lose their precious leather gloves. Bah. And I always get paired up with the guy that hunts first, says he's "jst lokin for xp" and leaves when I hunt him. Why? Scare you'll lose when "The effectiveness of your stats have been reduced. Word.". One stayed, I won and 1 chatted to him later. "You won, but it doesn't matter. I was here for the exp." No-one "goes for the exp". I don't, and I need it, trust me.
  22. Not to do with trading at convenience of anything, but GE marketing. Want a rune kite for 40k? Tough, you'll have to wait until it sells at med price, or shell out another 1.4k. It's rediculous. People want to sell there stuff for as much as possible, fair enough. But nobody wants to buy it for max price. You get 50 people selling at max, 3 people buying. Everyone else goes min. You get stuck in a deadlock. If people were more flexible with prices, then you would make more. If you were selling drops at max, go away to get more and find that your drops were still there blocking up your GE spaces, do you wait or do you sell for lower? Most people wait, and then wait for 7 days til it gets sold. People buy for price, not convenience, and that shows, even in the real world.
