  1. Why don't you want them there?
  2. I meant that Ground Zero is a random location near the site of Park 51. Why can't they go somewhere else? Because duh, it's their property. They bought the space. They paid for it. They got their permits. You're asking them to turn around, sell their land, buy another space somewhere else, and go through the whole process of obtaining building permits again, all for absolutely no reason at all? Sorry, but that's stupid and unreasonable.
  3. If it's so random, why should they choose a different place? Of course they have a right to build there. They bought the property, they got the permit. It's their property. End of story. You'd rather they go out and build a giant community center on somebody else's land?
  4. It's more noticeable with hops or allotments.
  5. Problem is that it's constantly sending you out to the Hobgoblin and Pirate mines out in high-level Wildy where you can't teleport out again, which ruins the potential it would otherwise have for fast banking.
  6. They changed the name as soon as the unfortunate implications were pointed out. The fact that it is so close to the towers means absolutely nothing at all. You could just as well say, "But the fact that it's so close to the McDonald's is where my issues lie." Ground Zero has zero relation to this building aside from its proximity. It's just a random unrelated place it happens to be close to.
  7. Do you left click to pick up drops? No, the main attraction is not having to constantly check and re-check the piles with a guam leaf on top to see if a ranarr dropped underneath it, which is an annoyance when cannoning specs. *shrug*
  8. But smithings not useful outside of looking kinda cool and wasting loads of money. In fairness, it's supposed to receive an update at some undisclosed point in the future.
  9. Nah, we just discussed this. This is only true in the unlikely circumstance that you have super-high dungeoneering already and have spare tokens coming out the wazoo, but also that you have prayer low enough that the xp actually matters. Otherwise, it's much too expensive for its effect, and a net waste of time.
  10. Yeah, honestly, I find it offensive that there's a controversy at all. It's like if I saw people debating whether girls should be allowed to enroll in public schools or whether they're too stupid to learn anything and their proper place is in the home. Basically like, " :-# , <_< , #-o , , :wall: ".
  11. I changed my mind. I don't like training construction and construction levels aren't important to me anymore. So instead I sold them all at max, the day before they crashed.
  12. You don't have yours set to teleport you directly inside your house?
  13. it means if ur 99 strength, 99 attack and your attack bonus and strength bonus are about equal and if you're hitting less than 50% of the time on your target. THEN a +1 attack equipment bonus increase will help you equally as much as a +1 strength equipment bonus as opposed to usually, when a +1 attack bonus < +1 strength bonus Ah...do you have a proof of this? And is there a situation in which it's relevant?
  14. My advice: Play the game and have fun. TBH there's no reason why bot-hunting couldn't be a recreational clan event, same as hide-and-seek and so on. Whether it's a good idea to start a brand-new clan for it, meh, if you like. *shrug*
  15. Kill the confused barbarian near the brutal green dragons. He drops mangled bones guaranteed.
  16. Sawmill is faster than ivy at high levels.
  17. There's more that you forgot. Each task where you bring a bonecrusher, you give up an inventory slot that could be used to bring back an extra drop. Even if that drop is just a sapphire or irit (common drops that I might leave on the ground when I'm short on space), that's 2k or so worth of value you're losing each task in order to gain the marginal prayer boost you're getting. Also, by spreading your prayer training out over so much combat training, you lose the opportunity you'd normally get to train prayer up to 95 and then do your slayer. Obviously you don't need the prayer xp if you're already 95, right? But with the bonecrusher, by the time you get turmoil, you're already done with all your slaying; with conventional methods, you get to actually use turmoil while you're slaying.
  18. Here's a rule of thumb I use: If you're hitting 50% of the time, or less, then a +1% increase to your accuracy roll is as important as +1% increase to your damage. so if your attack bonus, strength bonus, attack level, and strength level are about equal to one another. Then +1 accuracy bonus is equally useful to +1 strength bonus. This comes from the fact that in a dice roll style accuracy system, situations where your accuracy is 50% or less, the equation for accuracy simplifies to (Attack-Resolution)/2 * Defense. Resolution is defined to be the smallest possible number you can roll, so if you have high stats, you can assume resolution is approximately equal to 0. Further simplifying the accuracy equation to Attack/(2*Defense) fire cape: +1 attack, +4 strength. Ardougne cape: +6 attack, with a higher prayer bonus So if you're using a zamorakian spear, where your stab attack bonus is higher than your strength bonus, you MIGHT be better off with a firecape assuming your accuracy is sub 50%. If you're using a chaotic rapier, where your stab attack bonus is about equal to you strength bonus, you MIGHT be better off with a firecape, assuming your accuracy is sub 50%. ultimately it's too hard to say without actually knowing the target's defense, and then performing a calculation from there. but that's a rule of thumb I like to use, since the accuracy equation assuming dice rolls simplifies nicely, when you assume accuracy of under 50%. Uh, what does any of that mean?
  19. Okay, but make sure you're doing iron during the bonus xp, since gold loses that advantage when gauntlets stop working.
  20. They do if they want fast xp. Which is kinda the point of AZs. If you don't use potions, you're doing it wrong.
  21. Qeltar did a study on shade-burning too, albeit under the assumption that magic pyre logs are unbuyable. http://runescoop.com/html/rs_SkillOptimizationGuidePrayerActivitiesShadesofMort.htm
  22. Impressive.
  23. Yeah, makes sense. Lumbridge Diary is worth doing for the cabbage teleport for farming herbs, and Varrock is worth doing for the mining bonus. The others are less exciting, but keep in mind they do give you some nice xp lamps.
  24. When they go Super Saiyan, they get blond hair. The higher level they go in Super Saiyan, the bigger the hair they get. Up until level 4, but anyways, this has gone wayyy off topic, lol. When I become all-powerful, I'd want my hair to get more awesome too. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PowerMakesYourHairGrow
  25. Yeah, I can't really think of a use for the Falador one either. Just a small farming xp boost for one patch, pretty much. Fremennik mainly helps with topping off favor at Miscellania, but it also gives a some free lyre teleports and has several more niche uses as well. You also need it for Blood Runs Deep. Ardougne is really great for a lot of things and very helpful for farming in particular (herbs and bushes). Varrock is important for mining.
