The Style Thread
Nah it's usually just one post and unless someone reports it we often don't catch it. For example, the "tattoos" thread in OT was started by a spambot, but we didn't see it for a couple hours during which time users had turned it into a legit thread, so we left it.

Both of those forums are also the place for runescape related art, and as such no other forum is necessary.

Dunblane Cathedral HDRs
I actually like the murky feeling particularly on the first two - beautiful church. I agree they don't look HDR though which is okay by me as I don't really like most HDR anyway.

Money
Calmity? I think people mostly like to point out things like "being rich won't make you happy", which is true. I do agree that having stable, moderate finances is bound to reduce stress in life, however.

Norwegian Ambassador claims that terrorism against Israel is morally acceptable
Palisraelestine, anyone?

Norwegian Ambassador claims that terrorism against Israel is morally acceptable
Yuck. If you think about it, if both sides actually agreed to that it would be a pretty good start lol.

Money
I have a decent job atm and a fair bit saved up. I don't tend to spend much, I prefer to save. My life goal with money is to never, ever take on any kind of debt. I'm on track to being able to buy a new car in cash...a house will be much harder but I plan to do my utmost to pay that in full too.

Marijuana Legalization
I'm not disputing those points, as I said I agree with you completely. But I understand the mentality that it doesn't seem fair to keep fixing what is deliberately being broken. I'm not saying is a correct attitude - I'm saying it's an understandable one.

Marijuana Legalization
I agree that the logic must be extended - which is why I included extreme sports. Politicians are in a different scenario (as are any paid government employees) because they're being paid to do a job - and that money is their salary and thus none of taxpayers' concern. But can you honestly not see the unfairness in someone doing their utmost to be healthy while contributing thousands of dollars to fixing people who have not made the same effort? Once again - I don't think that's a moral choice. But I understand the mentality and sympathize.

Marijuana Legalization
Well, because they're doing it to themselves. Same thing applies to people who try to commit suicide, or do something foolhardy that ends up with them getting injured. I don't agree, but I get it. I understand why people don't want to see their money wasted on people who make no effort to keep themselves healthy.

Norwegian Ambassador claims that terrorism against Israel is morally acceptable
Fair enough. I do find it hard to believe a one state solution is any more feasible, however.

Habits picked up from video games
I always check tops of doorways for sticky bombs :( I also find myself turning around in case of spies more frequently.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I think you'd have to leave for over a year to miss anything, and even then it wouldn't be much :P

Norwegian Ambassador claims that terrorism against Israel is morally acceptable
What is your position, then? I can't recall you ever actually stating your basic position in the midst of all the other arguing, or perhaps I just missed it. I do agree that a two-state solution isn't really viable, though.

The American Football thread
I may be interested. Never been a huge fantasy guy though.

Marijuana Legalization
Alcohol, when not abused, has no harmful side effects whatsoever. It's not possible to take marijuana and avoid the side effects.

England Riots
corporations and governments are not people, they have no rights, only privleges and responibilities Why is this? Because they're a collective entity of people? If that's the case, your family should have no rights, only you individually; except that's not the case. I'd argue that government only has the rights that its people give it, but I'm guessing that isn't what you're taking issue with. :P Not at all. I'm in favour of watchdog groups and transparent government/corporations - I just think it's terribly hypocritical for ordinary people to demand these things and get upset that there are security cameras in the streets.

In your opinion, yes. But surely you can understand that those who hold religion to be extremely important are bound to see things differently.
