  1. From what I've heard the admins are aware of this and are attempting to fix the problem - when you see a "driver error" message the admins are most likely in the process of working on the server.
  2. I haven't followed any of those clans in a while, but I'd have to say TR + KO will be the final matchup :)
  3. And as I said, matter of opinion, I rarely find endgame boring as a pally the way I play it. Though I'll admit, leveling my warlock is so much more fun than my pally was :3 It's only lvl 66 atm though. warlocks are so sick. ever seen an afflic lock in pve gear in a bg? dot dot dot kill i think pallies are boring because theyre CD based. basically, pop that thing that isnt on CD. ive seen one button macros for ret/prot pallies. and holy pally is just HL spam. Well yeah the dps rotation is all priority based, like Judgements always first but other than that just whatever is off CD. I've heard feral druid dps rotation is fun.
  4. Quests and random dungeons are a good bet. You will meet more idiots than you ever thought possible if you do random dungeons though.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here :? You were saying how statistics suggest more likely to get divorced. I was just saying I don't put faith in statistics as they are easily biased. I mean notice how every single statistics churned out supports the persons cause OR hurts their opponent; yet the opponent can produce the exact opposite? It's because they are so easily manipulated and biased while remaining in generally accepted standards for making it a valid study (and thus statistic) Ok, I see where you're going. While it is true that every statistic has two sides, I guess it just boils down to what you want to beleive. From what I've seen - in general people with both parents have been happier and well-adjusted. I accept that it is a case-by-case situation so I'm willing to accept that isn't always the case.

Statistically, you're also more likely to end up divorced than you are if you've had two parents for all your life. Once again, I'm not saying it always happens - I'm saying it contributes.
  8. There isnt a way i could just ask for permission to use the calculators here on tip.it? Maybe find someone to code one for me? The calculators aren't embeddable - meaning that the only way you could use them on your website would be to actually take relevant files and use them on your site. The administrators own the rights to those caluclators and they aren't just handed out, they are for use on tip.it only. You could try to find someone to code for you, however it will be fairly expensive as most programmers tend to charge upwards of $30 an hour.

I agree with this. Paw - I agree in that a good family should be able to deal with issues - but it's much harder for just a single parent to do that. It must have been very hard on your mother, and while she may have managed it and managed to raise you in a pretty stable family it just isn't the same as being raised with both parents. And no, having one parent doesn't automatically make you a criminal, but it highly increases the likelihood.
  10. Yeah, linking back to tip.it is probably your best option, remaking all the skill calculators would be pretty time consuming, especially if you'd like them to have the same depth that tip.it's calculators do.

What is your definition of a stable home, then?

Did you know that multitudes of studies have been done on criminals? A huge number of them were in unstable households growing up - without a stable father and mother figure. Saying that being raised in an unstable household isn't detrimental to the healthy development of a child is naive at best. EDIT: Demoliboy, that's more of an issue of parenting style than anything.
  13. While he couldn't buy "any old motherboard" he should be able to find some of the right dimensions to fit his case - or he could buy a new motherboard AND case, although if he were to do that he might as well buy the whole new computer.
  14. Or he could just buy a new motherboard, that wouldn't be much more expensive and it would fix the problem in the long run.
  15. If you mean the kind you can find on tip.it's website, I've never heard of any that are just free to use on your own site. Some calculators would be fairly simple to code (if you're good with coding) but others (combat calculator comes to mind) would be far more difficult.
  16. Everyone has their own opinion, you need to back it up though. My first and only toon to 80 is my pally, I dps and tank with it. Experiment with specs and the Ret spec can be extremely useful in raids. Especially if you manage to spec Aura Mastery. Tanking can get boring if you outgear the dps though. Hit a button every few seconds and you're fine. Tis why I rarely PuG, keeps me on my toes and maintains my interest. Also I use zero add ons :3 I haven't leveled any other class to 80 so I can't make comparisons, but I never found it to be boring - except tanking low level dungeons with [cabbage]ty pug groups. Although the dps rotation is pretty straightforward I always found it pretty exciting while raiding.
  17. You can install it onto your hard drive, definitely. I'm no linux expert but the learning curve will definitely depend on the distribution you use. In terms of applications to get, I'll let one of the people who actually uses linux on their primary machine answer that.
  18. As you're new to the game, I can almost understand where you're coming from with that opinion, but warriors at later levels have MANY different abilities in EACH talent spec. Judging a class before its reached at least level 40-50 isnt exactly 'accurate' opinion. So true. Even Paladins suck at low levels, you can't do anything. You can't truly judge a class until you've played it to 80.
  19. Get used to it unfortunately, the pug system is full of idiots.
  20. I'd grab a beer and go sit on the porch.
  21. I can only speak from personal experience, but all I hear directed at people 15-25 who date someone 2 years + younger is "cradle robber".
  22. I have seen people of younger age appear to be more mature on the outside, then once you actually get to know them you realize that after all, they are younger. There is a certain stigma in society about dating people with a large age difference, so that's probably a contributing factor.
  23. I don't think that's a problem, particularly at your age. You're an adult, it's natural to not be satisfied with the maturity level of someone who's in the middle of high school. As you get older, the age difference becomes less important.
