  1. The only one that it makes the least bit of sense to block there is hotmail - as for the others, they're losing a huge chunk of users right there. Mailinator.com might work.
  2. I see what you're saying, definitely. I'd say no team needs more than one pyro at a time. Airblast can be incredibly useful though in certain situations. EDIT: Did this today
  3. Lol, jagex provides an API...yeah right. I believe they just parse the html, although Pure_mageUk would know for sure. EDIT: There you go: http://forum.tip.it/topic/231738-how-to-get-the-ge-price-of-an-item-using-php/page__p__3590538__fromsearch__1entry3590538
  4. Well, the Jessi Slaughter thing can be blamed on her parents, as no responsible parents should let their child have unsupervised internet access at that age. I don't know if you've read the "Lord of the Flies" but I see the internet as a modern-day equivalent. It shows how the majority of us are only held to standards by society, and use the anonymity the internet provides as a way to do things society would never accept.
  5. That could be your internet connection - have you noticed any problems with your internet while browsing, or streaming movies?
  6. I see many of those, and I enjoy them ever time.
  7. Just checked, and did so about 15 minutes ago. Didn't see anything. Toronto, Canada.
  8. FCP is near industry standard from what I hear, probably overkill. I also highly doubt it will run on 16mb of vRAM.
  9. Don't listen to her, she's the woman on the very far right.
  10. I don't see a fight with China happening anytime soon. Despite major differences relationships are pretty decent.
  11. I believe it should search for a phrase in title if it's working correctly. However, even if it does only search for an exact match it still isn't working.
  12. What do you think is going to happen once the states leaves? I fully agree that Iraq needs full control at some point, but they aren't ready in the slightest. Leaving now basically renders the work the States has done there over the past seven years useless. For the next year the focus will shifted from combat operations to solely training Iraq forces and security. I would like to believe that the US knows what they are doing. I'm sure when we do leave there will be some sort of uprising but I would like to assume we have a plan in place incase the worst happens but I would also like to believe that the people of Iraq will be capable of holding their own. There's practically no evidence to support the theory that Iraq is capable of handling their own security. The US military is the only thing currently holding the country back from complete civil war - once they disappear some suggest we could see something as bad as a genocide.
  13. Obamacare has already taken care of that. Unlikely on both counts.
  14. This. As much as people want it to happen, something may come up that makes an immediate end impossible if it isn't already. I'll believe it when it happens. It'll happen. At some point we (US) have to leave and I think now is the right time. What more can we do for themselves? At some point the people of Iraq need to take back full control over their country. They can't be dependent on us forever. What do you think is going to happen once the states leaves? I fully agree that Iraq needs full control at some point, but they aren't ready in the slightest. Leaving now basically renders the work the States has done there over the past seven years useless.
  15. Unsurprising, considering this was a cornerstone of Obama's campaign. I personally feel it's a huge mistake, but we shall see where it leads.
  16. Wow, my girlfriend has almost identical allergies. I can attest to the fact that it's really hard to eat according to those, and a lot of organic food is really expensive. In terms of "tasty organic food, soy food etc" you really just need to hunt around, trying different things. A lot of that stuff is great for you health wise, but tastes like crap. Occasionally we will wander onto something decent tasting though. EDIT: I don't know about your allergies, but she definitely has "degrees" here. For example a lot of the stuff will just make her feel mildly ill (upset stomach) whereas if she eats dairy she gets really sick.
  17. It really depends how complicated your site is, but it could be relatively easy to implement a template. Do you have links to the pages currently?
  18. As much as I'm glad to hear your opinion, it would be nice if you actually had some kind of proof and were willing to specify what exactly you don't like.
  19. This. As far as a "WW3", I rather doubt it would be triggered by Iran - their military is too weak and even if they have nukes they are probably a very small number of weaker varieties. A WW3 involving NK is far more likely, but even then I don't know if that would actually happen.
  20. You "couldn't care less". If you "could care less" or "can care less", that means you care. But yeah, forums are fine as they are, reputation free.
  21. Bear in mind if you want to actually make a serious, playable game, you need to use timers to control frames per second and other stuff like that. I'd really recommend buying that book I linked, it's a really great resource that thoroughly describes how to do that.
  22. This. This is a good resource book: http://www.amazon.com/Killer-Game-Programming-Andrew-Davison/dp/0596007302/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280710993&sr=8-1
  23. What would be the point of letting these things be publicly viewed if there was no profit made? Would they only take the bare minimum they need for restoration, and let the building fall into neglect? Who pays the people who study and document the art? Who takes care of the administration? I agree with you, that we all need to do our fair share - and in fact the church states that it is a human responsibility to care for those less fortunate. But the church isn't a charitable organization - starting a charity and actually having it work is an incredible amount of effort, far more so than simply money can buy. Also, paying for "the needs of the poor" is very ambiguous. Who is poor? What is poor? What are they going to do? Unfortunately in this world we live in, charity cannot be blind. Countries like Uganda have had money thrown at them, yet almost none of it has reached the people who need it. I also am unsure where you think the church's "enormous wealth" comes from.
