Yes, I think that would be considered insomnia. Try setting your alarm for early in the morning (8-10) and getting up, no matter how much sleep you got. Sooner or later(week or two) your body will realize if it wants sleep, it had better get it while it gets the chance, and you should be able to go to sleep much more easily.
  2. Rape is rape. There is no in between, there is no "real" rape and "gray area rape." It is violent and aggressive whether or not there are weapons used to coerce intercourse. Date rape and some guy on the street with a knife raping you are the same thing: unwanted, violent aggression that has nothing to do with sex and love and everything to do with power. You should read this: http://www.vachss.com/guest_dispatches/alice_vachss.html So the sex with the brother was "unwanted"? It was "violent"? The guy wanted to get his rocks off, he took advantage of a woman under the influence, for (probably) their mutual satisfaction. He decieved her, yes - but it's a far cry from a knife to the throat and broken bones. I'll quote that very article you showed me: "Anyone who finds sexual gratification in the degradation, humiliation and pain of another human being is a predatory sadist" Did the brother wish to degrade, humiliate and cause pain to the woman? I highly doubt it. Same is the case in the OP's article.
  3. Definitely. It is possible that charging $10 won't be successful, and they may end up changing their payment system.
  4. I'd call it statutory if anything - but "rape" is a very broad term, both in the literal and legal sense. EDIT: I feel I should clarify - I don't in any means wish to condone his actions, but I do see a very real difference between what occurred in his case and someone who brutally rapes someone at knifepoint.
  5. That always perplexed me as well. I assumed they were lit up like that so the player would know Sam was there or something. I assumed that they were actually not glowing green in the actual game world. Got to agree with this, sometimes I could barely see him even with the lit up googles
  6. Zionism also upholds fascist Capitalist doctrine because Zionist Jews want to create large corporations and monopolies across globe. They steal Palestinian children in the dead of night for slavery in factories. Капиталисты зла. Communism is the only hope to unite human race and end racial hatred. Uh, sorry, but this is very antisemitic, Serephurus. I hope this post isn't serious, and I'd hope that you'd apologize for such racist and crass remarks if it was. Also, on the story at hand, I also blame the judge more than the girl. I can understand why this woman reacted the way she did, being lied to and manipulated into sleeping with someone is pretty [cabbage]ty. And the guy is a jerk for doing that. But being a jerk =/= being a rapist and deserving of a conviction. What bothers me the most is that the judge handed out this sentence. It is completely [bleep]ed up. No way could this be construed as rape. I know some countries have "fraud" or "misrepresentation" penalties in situations like this, but I have only seen it used in marital contexts where the husband gets married by lying to the wife. The only time I've seen anything so close is when a twin brother lied to his brother's drunk girlfriend that he was his brother and had sex with her. I think he got charged with rape, but I never knew the outcome of it. If it's the same case I'm thinking of, he was convicted.
  7. Several MMO's cost more than that per month to play...although for a new title with a somewhat questionable reputation it might be a bit high. To be fair, Lego Star Wars was such a fun game.

A good movie, definitely not the best I've seen but probably the best movie released this year at least.
  9. I think he's specifically asking offline, when he's not actually playing. Just what I inferred from the post.
  10. That's ridiculous and downright racist. While "rape by deception" does have legitimate legal grounds (see: man pretended to be twin brother) this is nowhere near that.
  11. Rs shouldn't have any noticeable effect on the way your pc runs, no. In terms of data it saves to your computer, I don't believe it's a large amount.

    New civics look weird :(
  13. Yeah, the final point, and also that slope, are ridiculous. Almost all of the games I've played on that map have been half hour plus.
  14. Not true. They run on separate servers and I can remember many instances of one being up while the other was down.
  15. Seems to work for me. Try clearing your cache etc and try again.

There are all kinds of resources on what to look for when buying used cars - here we have something called a carsmart test which gives you vehicle history, just try to get one of those and make sure it's good. I'd recommend the lemon-aid books as well, they're a pretty blunt evaluation of cars and their problems.
  17. Interesting - which processes are using up the cpu time? Is it the game exe's themselves?
  18. First thing that comes to mind is your Ram - it looks like the worst thing there. It wouldn't hurt at all to pick up another 1gb. If this has only just started happening though, I don't really know what the cause might be. Have you looked at your task lisk to see how much cpu/memory the processes are using?
  19. I suggest the "let's count shoulders" ploy ;) But seriously, that's a decent situation to get in - if your friend likes the other girl he'll probably be keeping her distracted, giving you lots of time for one on one conversation with the girl you like. Just don't talk about runescape, and you'll be fine :P
  20. Windows 7 is a good OS, definitely better in some ways. It doesn't make a huge difference though, if you're comfortable with XP, stick with XP.
  21. We don't look down on irc at all, irc is awesome :) I haven't been able to connect either, I'll poke around.
  22. Solid state drive. It uses a different kind of technology (i'm not sure of specifics) to make accessing data from the drive faster.
  23. They used to be one of my favourite bands; now I like them, but not a huge amount.
  24. They may have stopped trying seeing as the holiday was yesterday.
  25. Well, I'm no expert, but I'll put together something. This should give you a basic idea but don't got with this right away, as I'm sure others can point out significant improvements. $129.99 monitor http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6411273&CatId=1410 $99.99 case http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3319620&CatId=1510 $49.99 hard drive http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4499974&CatId=2459 $179.99 processor http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5692033&CatId=4431 $124.99 RAM http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5210452&CatId=4534 $54.99 power supply http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4294708&CatId=2533 $79.99 motherboard http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5581073&CatId=5528 $124.99 video card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5543253&CatId=3669 $22.99 dvd drive http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5541391&CatId=89 Total cost $867.91 + tax - that includes a monitor, no keyboard/mouse/speakers
