Hi everyone, I've finally finished my goal I've worked on since I got 2000 total exactly 4 months ago, 2100 total. :D [hide=Bank and BoB] [/hide] My new goal will be getting all combat stats to 96 with 99 hp, 99 summoning and 95 slayer. I'd like to get the middle of stats 90+ and rc to 91 too, and of course I'll train a possible new skill to 85/90 as well. I know this will take a while, but I haven't failed a goal yet so I'm pretty sure I'll make it :P 95 Slayer banked (the 18m is for 80k cannonballs for 93 range): Yeah, I did sell some stuff from my bank to buy this, the bank picture is from yesterday :P Thanks for reading, post if you want!

That one uses an average of 6 herbs/seed, so it's not that accurate.

It doesn't, the 6.5 average is including dead herbs and is actually pretty low (I'm currently at a 6.86 average over 980 seeds). So, you should plant either ranarr or snapdragon depending on prices. If you can't afford that, plant toadflax until you can.

To recap and finish this: Void with dfs or at least bring an armadyl item (top over skirt) + fury, you wont need that much defence. Have your friends bring range pots, don't use 10%. Don't forget excalibur. 65k broad bolts 600 b2p tabs.

Best would probably be to get str 90, att 90, str 95, att 95, max str, max att, get 99 defence. Or something like that. Just make sure you train both attack and strength before you train defence.

Nice one :P If you can afford an ss, it's probably faster to max attack and strength before you train defence. If you can't afford one, use a whip. If you don't want to buy and ss because you like to keep your stats even or whatever, controlled with whip is the way to go.

Well first of all let me point out that you can't go INTO University, you attend it[/failure]. Second of all i was hoping someone with some kind of simmilar experience with Aviansies would be able to inform me, from their experience, how many bolts and btp i would need to use as i cannot always rely on the statistics after just one thousand kills and rough numbers are not what i am looking for. Anything alse you would like to add to your answer Campbell? I* To answer your original question of how much of each thing you'll need, just multiply your own data by 32 as Campbell already said. It might not be a very large sample, but at least it is your method and not someone else's. Someone else will always kill them differently/faster/slower/etc than you, so even a small sample of your own is usually better than a large one of someone else.

You're right, and chaos tunnels are better anyway because they're less spread out there.

Thanks, I'm glad your blocklist looks so much like mine :P I'm not sure about the geyser/wolpertinger, I was planning to save charms until I have 96 for slightly more efficient charm use, and when I asked someone else he said geyser was still better. I guess I'll use it anyway since it gives range xp, which I need more than mage xp. :P

I'd like you to back that up with facts. viewtopic.php?f=66&t=765267 The problem with that is that no one has conclusive data that everyone in the debate agrees with. So, there will always be people yelling 'slayer sucks!' or 'slayer is awesome' without actually knowing who is right.

You could get those drops without doing other tasks after 85 slayer. There really isn't much of a point in levelling slayer past 83/85, besides fun.

I have tried the CT dagganoths, but I didn't really like them. If you spec or drink a potion it's pretty much impossible to attack the same dagg you were attacking because there's so many of them, and running around to pick up drops is pretty annoying with auto retaliate on. Besides, I probably won't make it to 96 range just from cannon anyway, so I'm going to cannon as much as possible to save chin costs/get more slay xp.

You're right, combat is quite a big part of the game. But is it really a bad thing? Let's face it, most people who play runescape train mostly combat skills because they enjoy doing that. I find only a relative minority of the people enjoy training skills more than combat, and for those people the current amount of skills in the game is more than enough. So no, I don't think they screwed over the game by making a relatively large part of the game combat based. After all, most people enjoy combat. I like to train both skills and combat myself, and I have no problem spending a few months training skills with the current amount of skills/training methods. If I want to train combat, there are enough possibilities to do that too. So, I personally think Jagex found a pretty good balance between combat and non-combat, especially if you compare it to other MMO's that are almost completely based on combat.

Thanks a lot. I think I'm going to unblock greaters when I get 127 cb, wait till I get a task and try them. If I don't mind them I'll block hellhounds instead, and otherwise I'll just have wasted 100 points, :P I'd love to buy an sgs, but at it's current price I'd have to sell most of my bank just to buy one, and I wouldn't have money left to buy supplies. So, I guess excalibur and ppots will have to do the job. I'm not really sure, I kind of like the 15 minute cannon tasks under the lighthouse. :P Might give it a try though if I'm bored.

I've never done greaters so I don't really know about crowds, but I'll just take your advice and keep them banned :P I do use zarfots guide for cannon spots, but he doesn't really describe the position of the cannon at hellhounds well and I couldn't find a good spot, so I usually just melee them. Hi everyone, I'm planning to 'bank' 95 slayer in super sets, summoning pouches, prayer potions, food, etc. Just not cannonballs because I can't afford that :oops: I will be using protect from melee/magic if needed, piety at waterfiends and 10% str on everything else, and will cannon all tasks where it's possible to efficiently cannon (excluding fire giants). I did 93 duradel tasks for 1.7m xp last time I slayed, which averages out to about 18k xp/task or ~250 tasks max to 95 slayer. I still have a few questions though. My current blocklist consists of iron dragons, steel dragons, kalphites and greater demons. I'm considering unblocking greater demons (94 hp is close and it will get me 127 combat) and blocking hellhounds instead. Would this be a good idea or would you recommend keeping my blocklist this way or blocking something else? I don't mind scarabs/tbirds. Would buying 1.5k prayer potions last me all the way to 95 slayer or do you think 6 ppots/task is a really low estimate? Prayer potions are pretty high too at the moment, is there any chance they'll go down to like 10k each in the near future or will they stay as high as they are now? And what about cannonballs? Would 500 super sets, 300 bunyips, 200 geysers, 100 pony's and 2k pineapple pizza's be enough? Is it worth going on lunars for faster task swapping at the cost of not being able to cast high alchemy and trollheim teleport (for herb runs/spirit mages)? If I'd have to get 96 mage first for spellbook swap I would probably get 97 on accident from teleporting/circus, and I wouldn't have enough money left to bank 95 slayer. Also, last but not least, a pretty large question. If you're going to try to answer, please don't guess or something but actually calculate it. I'm going to try to get all 96 combats with 95 slayer and 99 hitpoints/summoning. I will burst/barrage 96 mage, slay 96 melees, cannon 96 range and chin if I can't get 96 range by just cannoning. Do you recon I can get 95 slayer without going over 96 combats? And what about summoning, would I be able to get 99 summoning doing just this? I tried to calc it myself and worked out that I should just be able to make it to 95 slayer, and I should get charms for 98.2 summoning or so. Does this sound right or did I do it wrong? I know it isn't really possible to accurately calculate stuff needed for slayer like this, but I'd just like to know if my estimates are close or completely off. Any advice/help is welcome, you don't have to answer all of the questions, just the ones you can answer. :D For those interested, I'll probably keep my drops 88-95, keep track of the supplies used and time spent on slayer, so there will finally be some accurate data for discussing whether slayer is worth training or not :P Thanks in advance :)
