It's all luck and depends on the total amount of seeds you plant, really. If you plant 50 seeds you could have a really bad couple of runs that result in those 50 seeds only averaging like 5.5 herbs each. But if you plant a good 500+ seeds you'll notice that the bad runs will always be negated by the great runs and you'll most likely end up with 6.5 herbs per seed. It's true that you need to farm a lot of seeds before you really see this all begin to happen. That's why when someone with a low farming level or who has admitted they don't plant many herb seeds says that herb farming is bad cash I don't take them seriously. Anyone who has really done their fair share of the farming of herbs knows about the average herbs per seed. To add to that, you can also get lucky over a larger number of seeds. I currently average 6.92 herbs/seed over 711 toadflax seeds. Same thing for me, I even do them while at aviansies with enough supplies left or while I'm on lunars. #-o

I try to be as efficient as possible, but only if the efficient method actually is bearable. I, for example, don't use zarfot's granite method, because if I do that I have to pay even more attention to an already very boring skill. Usually the enjoyable methods are just too much slower to be worth it.

I did notice a decrease in trees that weren't done after 24 hours after I started using supercompost. Also, without compost you can't plant 15 willows or 10 mages a day, because they'll take too long to replant.

If your uncomposted tree becomes diseased and the farmer has to cure it, it will miss that growth cycle. So, your trees will be grown faster if you supercompost them.

Still buy them from g/e, or do 50/50 GOP if you from some weird reason really don't want to do that. It's 660 tokens/gop game, so 1980 tokens or about 2k ess/hour. About 25 hours. As said above, graahk. Normal people can do about 2.8k ess/hour with graahk and 75 rc, about 2250 without giant pouch. So 22 hours. 47 hours total, and that's if you're pretty fast at gop.

(126 x 284) / 2089 = 17.13 2089 / 126 = 16.58 Will be working on non combat some more before I go back to slayer again.
