  1. If you want to take all possible precautions, die in f2p, get your 99 in f2p, telegrab your untrimmed cape from your grave. If that doesn't work, nothing probably will.
  2. You average weapon attack and weapon strength. I would say that in most situations one of those is more important than the other. You also assume this whole damage system Jagex came up with is linear, I don't think that is right.
  3. I estimate about 110k hp and 120k summoning xp (at level 89, probably less for you) per 1k burst, 180k mage xp per 1k bursts sounds right. The aow guide is very good, I recommend you read it.
  4. So that said, an average game including waiting time would be about 9 minutes each. That's 6.66 games an hour. But since you can't only play .66 of a game, and since those games are so fast you wouldn't neccessarily even make 20 points per game, I would say it is not impossible to make more than 5-6 tools per HOUR. This just further supports my original claim to this kid, which was that he's lying through his teeth...which...you know, we all are already aware of, but I like to have support to back up my claims. lol. I usually get 22/23 points/game playing fast sc games that usually last about 10 minutes. If we assume the best possible circumstances, waiting in the clan area takes about 1 minute. That means 2 points a minute or 6 tools an hour. So, at least 70 minutes for his 7 tools. At 8 minutes/game excluding waiting times you could get 7 tools/hour, but that really depends on the team and time of the day so it's not really an average.
  5. Halfway. I don't think I'll ever get 99, don't really feel like playing atm. Nothing better to do though. :|
  6. About 3 free spaces, got a 50+ spaces slayer drop tab I could get rid of but don't want to sell.
  7. Surprised no one has mentioned barrows gloves yet. I use them for everything.
  8. Roger Moore. For some reason he's just way more awesome than the other actors.
  9. Not using 'u/plz/more than one question mark/sup' etc. I don't know why, but unless I already know them the use of those words makes me instantly dislike them.
  10. You don't really need them anymore, since energy restores so fast now. I've used maybe 5 pots total since the update, for astral crafting/penguins.
  11. Apparently im annoying Yeah. Note I said random people, that excludes most tifers.
  12. Wonder why you turned off 15% pray for your last hit, could've killed it way faster by leaving it on. 2/10
  13. My tip.it has been like that for a few months now lol. No idea how to fix it, it does work properly in IE. :| [hide=Tip.it][/hide]
  14. People (friends), the future (not 2020 or something, but next few weeks).
  15. Legal. They're available for everyone, and it's in no way like using a macro because you still have to press the keys yourself. You can also be faster than others at using mousekeys, it's not like using them gives you instant success or something.
  16. However if you COMBINE the best exp, money and charms together, and compare with Slayer as a whole, you will find Slayer wins. That is exactly the point, it doesn't. Even if you have to do a few different things to get the fastest charms/xp/money, it will together always be faster than doing them all at once with slayer. It's pretty obvious I'd say, but since there's no conclusive data both parties agree with, slayer will probably never be proven to be slower, even though it is. See below. This was also what the 80 page 'Slayer Sucks' thread was trying to point out, but there will always be slayer fanatics who wont accept it. I'm trying to get some accurate data on xp/h and money/h while training slayer, so I will report back once I'm done collecting data. It isn't really a proven fact, because no one agrees with the data the opposing party provides. It does seem that slayer isn't the fastest method to gain exp/money/charms, but it hasn't been conclusively proven yet. And unfortunately, even when it eventually gets proven, slayer lovers will always keep saying it is better, even though it's been proven it isn't. :P The whole 'variety' argument doesn't really hold ground either, since all tasks are just routine too after slaying for a while.

    Today...

Maybe a bit late. But,
  18. idk wheres mining? (im not just saying it because i am an advocator of the skill) its one of the slower skills. definitely slower than farming. but slayer does take much longer. Mining is easily up to 50K/hr. Fishing/RC/Slayer/Farming are slower. Farming can get up to like 500K per day while you could easily get 700K+ mining with the same amount of playing. djay has 99, and said exp/hr rate is immense. idk if immense is 40k or 80k Takes about 5 minutes for a 65k xp mage tree run, 780k xp/h. So yeah it could be that fast if you have the money to spend. And no, you can't get up to 500k farming xp/day. I got 416k xp once, planting everything even a spirit tree and torstols, using some penguin points etc. Just wasting money on expensive trees etc you get about 200-250k/day.
  19. No thanks, I'm not going to care about random people I don't know who melee their slayer tasks on a full world. I'm going to maximize my own experience, as I play for my own enjoyment, not theirs. It does give a bit of satisfaction too when people get really mad at you but they can't do anything about it :P
  20. Define long. Farming certainly does take long in the sense of weeks, but actually has a very high xp/hour rate. Slayer is slower average xp than runecrafting.
  21. I cannon everything I can and use lapalok, and get attack:str:def:hp:range:slayer:summoning xp in about a 10:10:10:10:9:10:8 (or 30:10:9:10:8 if you don't use controlled) ratio. If you don't cannon, it's just 4 att/str/def xp per 1 slayer xp.
  22. Okay thanks. Can anyone confirm this? (I will continue to do Slayer, and put half the money earned through rare drops towards the planks for level 90 con) Since the hammers make you get double the xp per plank, you'll have to use half as many planks and it will take you half the time, and halve the cost. It depends on how much money/hour you make if it's worth it to use hammers. For you, it would be worth it to use the hammers. Quoted from another topic about construction:
