Proselyte top + verac skirt/proselyte legs and piety owns any expensive armour you'd buy, if you have that many millions to waste you really should piety. Besides slayer helm/fire cape/barrows gloves/rune defender etc you don't need more, overly expensive slayer gear doesn't speed slayer up that much. If you really want more speed, piety + cannon + super sets and your armour wont even matter much.

What do you mean by "simply buying" And um, is it best to use all 4 pouches or 3? Because i heard using every but small is faster? Only when crafting natures with a graahk. If you're using an abyssal familiar, using all 4 pouches is better because you have to bank 3 times anyway.
-
Yeah i thought it was like 100-200M? I mean look how low prices are compared to a couple months ago? Pure ess aren't that low (212 each), it's just the natures that are high (315ea).
-
And fire/astral runes. But yeah, if you're not sure, use the abyss.
-
That's pretty easy to calc actually. 328m with current prices, so like 300-350m depending on how much the price of nature runes changes. Double nats are like 1250k/hour atm

Grats draggle! <3: -
I'd recommend getting 92 and using stews to make overload (since you wouldn't need many of those anyway). You'd still be able to make extreme pray pots with mature ale (which is pretty easy to brew yourself) and you would be able to make every other potion. The 30m or something saved should be worth the hassle with stews etc. The cheapest method would be making antifires -> extreme antifires once those become buyable, the 2nd costs nothing. You can collect 600 phoenix feathers/hour, which averages out to 96k herblore xp/h and 15k thieving xp/h, at the cost of 6.2 gp/xp. Ehm as for the question whether you'd be able to get 95 with 91m, I'm not sure since prices are really unstable atm. It would probably get you the level or at least close to it though.
-
Well, I do that same thing too. And I guess you could call my stats slightly OCD too, just like my intention to try to do everything the most efficient way possible, to the point where I'll become bored of something if it isn't efficient.
-
Not consistently. At least, not that I know of. Runecrafting is pretty stable in money/hour, while there's more luck involved in hunting dragon imps.

I just hope that wasn't your first task after 90 too  Aw what you got another drop while I posted this lol. Awesome luck! -
Dharok's using this method would be faster than using a whip/ss. It's more dangerous though.
-
There isn't really a way to calculate the profit/hour for stuff like monster hunting accurately, and since I have close to no experience with it it would just have been a rough guess. Astral crafting is basically the next best thing after double nature crafting atm, and most people are even able to get 82 rc as opposed to 91 rc, so I just chose that as an example.

I recorded my latest slayer lvl. From 87-->88 slayer I got 1 abyssal whip, 4 ranger ammies, 5 dragon boots, rune junk, runes, etc it was a total profit of 12M It took me 26 hours to get that one level, so that means I got 460k profit an hour and it wasn't even a lucky level. Noob has nothing to do with levels, a noob is a "high level" person that acts like a newb. I don't know how you guys come up with 100k gold an hour for slayer as I make a lot more then that and I have always made a lot more then that. My data was from 2.1m slayer xp (88-92), a considerably larger sample size. I must admit I don't get very lucky with whip/boot drops though, 7 boots and 4 whips total so far. But still, that would only put slayer further ahead of training skills seperately.
-
Nah, it's my data from another thread (which disappeared during the 'rollback') and doesn't in any way have something to do with the past 80 pages, I wouldn't expect anyone to read all that (even I quit after page 30). I do agree with you that there seems to be a pretty large amount of people posting here who have just entirely missed his point though. I just posted that in the hope people would find something wrong with it.
-
Which is exactly what people have been trying to prove wrong. I think I did, actually. It is. I guarantee you I can make more charms, money and experience from slaying than if you would have done each said variable separately the fastest way you could possibly imagine. It's not. I really have to calc this some day, but I honestly can't be bothered with prices changing etc. - Better calculations with slayer points: 62.3k melee xp/hour 17.5k range xp/hour 18.7k summoning xp/hour 21.8k slayer xp/hour 140k profit/hour 100k profit/hour from slayer points Armoured zombies are about 100k melee xp/hour, and gain you about 100k profit/hour. Chinning is like 250k range xp/hour, at a cost of 3 gp/xp. Waterfiends are about 40k summoning xp/hour (only counting crims), and gain you like 72k/h melee xp too. Astral rune crafting is about 900k/hour atm (252ea astrals, 218ea pure ess, 3.2k ess/hour). You'd need 50 crimson charms to get 18.7k summ xp, 29 minutes. 35k melee xp too. Takes another 16 minutes to finish up the melee xp, about 30k profit too. About 55k needed to pay for the chins, so 18 mins of astral crafting to make back 140k+100k+55k-30k. 5 minutes needed to get 17.5k range xp with chins. That's a total of 68 minutes. Instead of 21.8k slayer xp, you get spare gold/green/blue charms from waterfiends (didn't calc those in), 6k extra hp xp (chins instead of cannon) and 8k extra runecrafting xp. So, it basically comes down to this: Do you value 21.8k slayer xp and 8 minutes over 6k hp xp, 8k rc xp and some charms? If yes, slayer is more efficient. This is of course assuming you slay a little efficiently, eg. use 10% str pray on most tasks, piety some, cannon most of the tasks, have at least decent combat stats etc (basically do everything zarfot recommends). Otherwise your slayer xp rates will be lower. If no, you're better off training the skills seperately.

Woo, 15-17m xp almost solely from toadflax/marigold/cactus spines/jade vine. -
You know it would be really easy to calculate that yourself using the tipit farming guide for xp/tree etc? One toadflax run with cactus and marigold is ~1.8k xp. If you know that, you'll be able to calc the rest yourself. Don't pay for yews/mages (payment is over 1/8th of the tree cost), so multiply the xp/tree for those trees by 0.875.
-
The actual summoning is about 6 gp/xp for you (it was 5 gp/xp for me, but I was able to make better pouches and didn't have to save blues). 1k Bursts are 1450k, and that gets you ~100k summoning xp. So, if you're going to burst all the charms, it will cost about 20 gp/xp. You need like 3m xp, so you're looking at ~60m total cost. Bursting the charms will take about 50 hours at 600 casts/hour. Use all the charms you get, if you have them anyway they're always worth using.
-
It would probably ruin the game for me, I don't even know what to do with the 75m I have at the moment, let alone 200b. If you have that much money, buyables aren't fun anymore since gaining money to be able to buy them was the hard part. Monster hunting is no fun anymore because any drops you'd get would be pointless. I guess I'd buy loads of junk from friends, help some rares out of the game and then continue with maybe a 200m cash pile to buy 99 herblore.

If you can't even be bothered to crop, why do you type like that? I'm pretty sure it's more work than just typing normally. -
For everyone who wants to know what the OP wants to know: Plan what you are going to plant, based on how much you want to spend. Just try different combinations of trees/fruit trees/herbs/calquat until you've reached the desired amount of money/day spent. Then, calculate how long it will take you to get your goal level if you plant the things you just came up with. Calculate the total cost by multiplying the cost/day with the total amount of days, and tadaaa. With farming, it's really the best to do this yourself and not let others do what you could easily have done better yourself.

I don't pk. I'm not serious enough for it, I just don't pay attention or don't care about actually killing the other person. It's actually pretty boring if you ask me, most of the time you spend in pvp isn't even spent fighting. I guess I'm just not into the competitive aspect of it that much, I don't care if I beat someone else, I'd just rather not die and lose stuff.
-
Yeah, I lost my agility brawlers last week after about 7k xp by getting 3 hit :-| Sounds like a fun quest!
-
About 600 casts/hour and 180 xp/cast, so 108 xp/h. The charms just make up for any efficiency lost though.
-
70k xp/hour at ankous kinda sucks, I nearly get that (62k/h) while training slayer and that gets me charms/range xp too. If you don't care about money at all, zombie monkeys (there's a guide on the aow on them) would be a pretty good option. They're largely afkable, not crowded and the xp is about as fast as armoured zombies (80-95k/h depending on levels).
