The only real flaw with that is that, in essence, RWT could come back. Also, if you could get what your opponent loses, or up to 2x that, there would be no motivation to fight people with little risk. There would be motivation if they were your target. Even if you killed someone with just rune you still could get around 500k if they were a target. And its not like you couldnt get more for a target kill. Since the amount you get is random, there is a good chance that it would take many attempts to transfer money. So the rwter might need to use many millions to transfer just 1 million.

Why were statues even necessary? Why couldnt ancient armours like statius replace them, and just be a litte more rare then statues are now. That way it wouldnt drive prices down too much and money would not be added to the game. Also, make it so that value of the drop cant exceed the value of the opponent's armour, unless it was a target kill. Tell me any flaws in these ideas.

Im doing my first attempt at fire cape. Im doing great on wave 57 and I have 16 ppots left and 2.5 brews. I have one of the things that spawn from a 45 trapped so I could regroup. Suddenly, my computer randomly shuts off. Now Im pretty sure that it logs you off automatically but I wanted to try and get back on just in case. So after about a minute the computers on and I click on the internet, but it laggs and about 20 windows pop up. Of course none of them load and it takes me about 3 minutes to actually get back on to find myself outside of the cave without any tokkul. GF 3 hours of work. :thumbdown: Oh, and also, I decided to watch a movie but my TV didnt work.

Yes, I noticed this at barrows. What they should of done is make it turn off when you switch to a melee/range weapon.

What do you mean when you say fairies could teleport without standing on the ring? Does that mean that they could be nowhere near a ring and still teleport? To be honest I dont think races should have abilities. I am sure one race would have the best ability and everyone would choose that one. The abilities could at least be toned down to things like small stat boosts. Very good idea otherwise. I would be a vampire or an avianse by the way.

For some reason I absolutely HATE cockroaches/crickets/earwigs (in Arizona :thumbdown: those all are kinda common). My house normally doesnt have any (maybe we spot one or two per year) but whenever we do I make sure its good and dead. Last night I found a coackroach in my backback on top of my binder. I dont know how it got in there. :evil:

Sometimes I sit at the computer chair with my head resting on the top of the backrest and my body twisted so its pointing to the side, it gets annoying after a while. I also trim my fingernails about 3 times as often as my toenails.

I posted an idea that I thought could help this suggestion, and you respond by saying that its stupid and would make the quest too hard if it were added. A level 200 monster wouldnt even be that hard for ftp, especially for people who can cast from far away. What does it matter what its combat level is anyways? I find that half of the battle is nerves, so whats wrong with the monster being level 200, even if it is weak. Since you seem incapable of overcoming something that is "hard", I will tell you how you could defeat this troll. First of all, just because you are a mage, doesnt mean you cant use melee armour. Wearing rune legs, chain, kite, and full helm could easily make it possible to get to the troll with enough food. When you get to the boss itself, what stops you from praying? I know that I had 43 prayer when I was ftp. So what stops you from protecting from melee? Even if you only have a minute or so to kill the boss, it would at least help. And if you dont want to pray, use a safespot. Many "hard" quests have safespots for the final fight (monkey madness for example). And for those who wouldnt know to do this, you can bring mage robes in your inventory so you dont have to fight with a negative bonus. So, does this boss still seem so hard? And yes, I know that something else has already put into the guide. What I originally had in mind was a tower which you would run through (not necessarily killing the monsters inside) overcoming barriers put in place to stop you, but I guess the undead fire demon (is that the name) will be fine. I just wanted to post this to show that my idea was not stupid and I am not an idiot. Too bad you didn't post it in the initial post. It would clear a lot of things up. And its still impossible to judge how difficult the level 200 boss would be. Most boss monsters (e.g. elvarg) can be defeated by people about half their level, with average food and stats. So its perfectly reasonable to assume that it would probably need a level 100 player to beat it. You can rattle on with your reasons, but honestly, how much would those changes lower the level needed to slay the boss? 10 levels at most? Even at level 70-80, say, it would still destroy the whole point of the spellbook, because you already have a high level in magic by then. Actually, according to the tipit calculator, a player with 50 magic, 40 defence, 43 prayer, and 40 hp is 50 combat. And getting 43 prayer gives them 5 combat levels. At 50 magic they can cast water blast, with a max hit of 14. Even if it takes them a few minutes to kill it, it should be possible. And they could kill it like they killed elvarg, by teaming it, or by asking a friend to bring them extra food. And you easily can kill things without being half their combat level. That, if anything, is a stupid idea. Many pures have defeated the jungle demon. And I believe there have been people below 70 combat who defeated jad. You may say that these are ptp examples, but elvarg is the only ftp example possible (revenants dont count). You also are forgetting that this is an update FOR mages, not to CREATE mages. So it's safe to say that there will be people doing this quest who have a higher mage level. I know I should of posted this in my first post but I thought others would expand on this idea, not jump all over me for thinking that this quest should be more challenging.
