  1. Perhaps Jagex has made it too easy to rapidly buy and level up skills, but honestly, they also created the problem originally: who has the time to kill an untold number of dragons to get 99 prayer? Or to but tens of thousands of magic or yew ogs for 99 fletching?
  2. I experience this constantly from people I know: I tend to discount them from the list of people that I call friends, but as a Canadian high school student, I offer advice to those entering high school: HIDE IT! Or you WILL be mocked, even by people who played a short while ago, and may even have introduced you to it.
  3. I have never particularly enjoyed questing, but there is no doubt (in my opinion) that it takes far more time and total skills to receive a quest cape then it does to achieve Firemaking, Cooking, or Fletching (which I am currently going for).
  4. Well thought out, even if I do not agree with everything you said. This really would have made an excellent Times article. I have to say though, if we implemented your suggested changes, the outcry from the "old class" of players would be enormous (perhaps even myself included), so maybe we need a way to balance out the time spend by the older players?
  5. Wow, an hour and a half long runescape movie. Can't wait to see it.
  6. I would have to say that the easiest skill is cooking... not because is is buyable, but because it costs very little money (you can sell the fish again for a nominal loss), and takes possibly the least time of any skillcape, along with requiring very little of the players attention.
  7. It really just seems silly to have one: after all, many are just players who want free money/items, and are willing to be whatever gender you want, and may very well be all of 10 years old.
  8. Not sure about the bit about new content every month, but everything else seems pretty interesting.
  9. I guess it just depends on whether you value your money or your time more.
  10. No there really is no longer an economy, but there is some phantom shadow of one since we can still at least affect prices, although I'm not sure about how much we actually do any more.
