I'm missing a few pages, but I've at least glanced at most of it.

The Back Room
I just finished watching Hellsing OVA 7. Jesus christ. So Awesome. Also, full of gore. In the good way. One character dies from (And this is literally what the producers said about it) "Excessive grating"

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
Excellent job, Dungeon.

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
I return to the sea to plunder once again, consulting the navigator on where to hit next.

2025
Enigma jumps back up and scans around him with sight and hearing. Edit: Too late, haha.

2025
Ares continues walking along the airstrip, checking where he thought he saw movement before. He keeps his guard up.
-
2025
Enigma takes his two handguns and puts a fresh clip into each, keeping them held up as he slowly approaches the airstrip.

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
I'd like to install another cannon, if you please, Mr.Digby. On the port side, if you would be so kind. I split the rest of the loot with the crew.
-
Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
Even splits for my crewmen. One for all, and all for one, as they say. Before splitting it, I go to the docks and find the person I would talk to about ship upgrades and repairs.

2025
Heeerree. Enigma looks at the abandoned airstrip from afar, checking for signs of life.

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
I order the crew to return to port, we must repair the ship, as well as flog the loot.
-
Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
Isaac leans in closer to the captain and says, slowly, "Tell them Isaac sent you, they'll know who you're talking about." before cutting his head off. He allows the rest of the crew to live, taking all of their weapons and plunder with him.
-
Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
I shout "All Dutch are ordered to remove their weapons and put their hands behind their heads! Make a single move, and you will be killed!" If the dutch agree, I order my crew to board, but make sure they keep their weapons drawn in case of an attack. All the dutch crewmen will be tied up, and the cargo transferred to the Vulture.
-
Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
I order the men to lower the main sails and speed up, turn to portside and try to get in front of them before firing all cannons, which should have been reloaded by now.

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
Loving the long posts. I don't care if it takes a little longer, it's worth it. I command the crew to stay in position until they are farther out, then give chase, turning starboard and firing the starboard guns. They are to be aimed (As much as one can aim a cannon, which I assume isn't much) at the mast, captains quarters, and the opposing cannons.

Pirates 2: Return of the Kraken
Isaac Whitethroat III. I don't know any good names from that era so I used a generator. Bleh. Long black coat and a tricorn hat. Several flintlock holsters strapped across the front of the coat, and like 5 belts around the midsection of the coat. Boy, I can hardly get any more cliches in here. Privateer, please.

The Back Room
I'm partial to a glass of Rose. Or white wine is good too.

Dwarf fortress
I was rather hoping that there was at least SOMEBODY who played DF in here, Nex, but alas. I mean, it's the best Indie game out there, no question, and the sheer depth of it all would put most other games, PC or console, to shame. And the fact that it's still in alpha and already stands up as a full game is incredible, too.

Suggestions and the like.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Mather is complaining about Dusty always having a big empire and being too strong when he has actually defended Mather like.. 3 times? in the past. Mather, people do not want to play pacifist, the majority of hegemony players want to fight, and you will inevitably get dragged into that, so just man up and enjoy a good war every now and again.

Delta V
Riiiight. Okay. Let me get this straight. You are spending a massive portion of your available resources building a ship which can barely attack or defend, and is almost entirely for show. Yeah, I believe I already said it, but you're just making stargate tech for the sake of stargate tech now. It isn't even practical.
-
Delta V
It would be bad as a defensive installation as well. Target the main tower and the rest of the defenses fall into chaos. So what, you're just going to have it hide for the entire game? The things cost enormous amounts of money, and they don't attack or defend very well. I think you're just using stargate tech for the sake of it being stargate tech, and that's pretty lame. Also, you seem to still be under the illusion that technology specs in stargate = technology specs everywhere. I doubt Archi will let the shields be powerful enough to enter a star.
-
Delta V
Actually, Rocco, I am saying that it is underpowered. Archi will decide the strength of the weapons, shields and features (Not a TV show based around already ludicrous technology) so that is not a concern in any way, since I trust Archi to do that. The main thing is that these "City Ships" are horribly designed, with a control point so easy to target with everything you've got, when all vital controls should be near the core, where the armour is thickest.
