The Back Room
I get payed £30 by the gub'ment for going to tertiary education. But that is ending next year, unfortunately.

If it's going to prevent this argument from continuing, then I think it's okay. Tempers were rising, and even with mature people it can very quickly turn into a flame war.

Righto. Locked on request. Just shout when you would like it unlocked again

Did you not listen? Archi has told you to drop it. I have told you to drop it. And yet, here you are.

Mather. Drop it. For the love of all that is holy, just drop it right now.

I'm kinda neutral on the subject of using Skype. If everyone else wants to, then I can do so. It does kinda make things easier, though.

Dungeoneering Again
No, and the session has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Dungeoneering Again
If anybody wants to, I am running a session. #Dungeons27

I didn't like it, but I hear Cataclysm improved a lot of things, so the jury is out on that.

Err... Weren't you the one who was insisting on using it in the first place?

My cries fall on deaf ears, apparently.

Mather, this isn't funny anymore... Can you please just concede the point?

Three cheers for a good DM.

Base attack bonus is an addition to all attacks you make. Anything else comes from other modifiers. BAB + Other modifiers = Attack bonus. You generally carry your equipment unless specified.
-
Rivers Run Red
Yeah, you need to calculate those things yourself. It doesn't allow alchemical discoveries, either.

Okay okay okay. You don't need to tailor make your character to fit the gaps in our party. Yes, we need a tank, yes, we need charisma, but it's still your character in the end. Go with the stats you think represent the vision you have of your character.

I guess, but I'm just saying that the monk class is designed to not use weapons unless specially configured... In fact, they tend to cripple themselves when they use weapons because they lose a lot of their advantages. They also lose their wisdom and class AC bonus if they use any armour. Earth, Monk unarmed strike does increased damage as you level up. At level 14, your hands are basically greatswords. Just fine for taking down heavy armour.

Earth, A Monk's fists are his best weapon. I already gave you links to everything you need.

Ah, two weapon fighting ranger? Grim, since Retech is so desperate for a session, why not just run a random encounter? It doesn't have to be entirely plot free, either. Bandit attack, villager being chased by X, such and such. You're probably better at coming up with that stuff than I am, so I'll leave you to it. I don't want to make people miss out on plot stuff.
-
Rivers Run Red
Oh god help us. But yeah. It's best not to nag people for sessions, Retech.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills Read the bit titled "Aquiring Skills" Also, you get the major diplomatic skills as class skills, as well as a charisma modifier. That's pretty cool.

Professions generally just earn gold. Craft skills are the ones which create things.

Excellent. Potions all around, guys. I could take a couple of levels of artificer, but that wont be for a while. Then again, Artificer/Alchemist is just so fitting.

It's up to you. At old age, you lose 2 points from all physical statistics, and gain 1 for all mental statistics. In the long run, that doesn't matter much. It actually makes a caster better, but that is not to say you couldn't be an elderly paladin and still be awesome or some such.
