Lack of self-respect and being an anime fan often go hand-in-hand. The rest of them are either normal members of society or neurotic, anxious, reclusive persons like myself. :V Being a hikikomori doesn't imply being an anime fan, or even being a NEET for that matter. I've known at least two people who did nothing but force themselves to school and then shut themselves in their rooms during their free time. I'm not having a dig at anyone - what most people do doesn't interest me terribly much. Common things I get asked: "Don't you get bored?", "Aren't you lonely?", "Why don't you find something more productive to do?". No, not particularly, I don't know; my usual responses. Anyway, I'm downloading Hayate S2 as I type this. I have around 3 episodes left of the first season and I plan to continue straight over to the second. I never thought I would make it through a 52-episode anime, but Hayate had me sold from about episode 4. One of my friends is endlessly [bleep]ing about how season 2 "just isn't as funny", but "just isn't as funny" by Hayate standards is still pretty damn hilarious. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all progresses!
