    Today...

Today, I'm going to be listening to the new Beatles remasters. Today is going to be a happy day. : Also, Star, you actually liked London? I thought it was just okay. I was suffocating on the way back to Norfolk because I'm not used to that sort of city air, though...
  3. I'm not really. I just listen to the music, look at fanart, and that's it. The only Touhou game I've played is Imperishable Night; it was really enjoyable, but I'm too lazy to play any others.
  4. Schizophrenia. No, seriously. But it can be a blessing too.
  5. The trouble with local shows is the sound setup in the venues is generally terrible, so the band just turn everything to 11 and try to drown out the awful system. Never bothered with earplugs, actually. Only band I would consider those for is My Bloody Valentine.
  6. If you think concerts for well-known bands are loud, go and see some local bands. Unless you value your higher-end hearing, that is.

That reminds me of the knee problems I used to have, and now my back problems. I was always pretty tall for my age (not gigantic, but taller than most). I was 5'7" by the time I was 13 and I stopped for a while, and everything evened out. Turns out being that tall at that age contributes to all kinds of back problems. I only grew a couple of inches between 13 and 15, but recently I've shot up again to about 6'/6'1"... and the back problems have returned. My physiotherapist said it's because I was growing too quickly and things didn't have time to develop properly. My height is often underestimated if I'm measured because I can rarely stretch out enough to reach my full height.
  8. Alright, I'm gonna lock this. We've now established what mallcore is. Any problems, shoot me a PM.
  9. Just looking through my music folder: - Bloc Party - Dinosaur Jr. - Feeder - Maybeshewill - Muse - Porcupine Tree - Set Your Goals - Smashing Pumpkins Give those a try.

I remember the first time I learned how to do that. Suddenly, essays for German class were much easier. How? I have a german essay coming up. Does it translate as you type? No. Basically it's just a German input method for your keyboard so you don't have to use character map/alt codes for ä, ö, ü, etc etc.

  12. It's just a word used by idiotic metalheads who like to look down on those who listen to metal bands commonly associated with Hot Topic. Trust me, I used to be one of them. 1). What is mallcore? Basically mallcore entails pop metal (such as newer In Flames, Dead By April, Scar Symmetry), nu-metal (Slipknot and Korn in particular) and other bands such as System of a Down, Rammstein and Tool. 2.) How is one mallcore? One is mallcore if they happen to listen to these bands and follow said trends set by stores in the mall that sell merch by these bands. 3). What isn't mallcore? Black metal and death metal that's not pushed in the mall. 4). How is it not mallcore? Because it's not found in your local Hot Topic. 5). Where is mallcore found? Browse through the CD section of Hot Topic. God, I hate elitists. People like what they like. On a more serious note, if you're bothered by people calling bands you like "mallcore" then you're probably thinking into it too much. It's a completely stupid term for all the reasons I just said above. We all have our likes and dislikes, but looking down on stuff just because it's played on the radio or more mainstream than something else is the height of idiocy. It makes me wonder if people actually appreciate music anymore or are just looking to be more "cool, edgy and underground" than their friends.
  13. Hey, 3 Inches of Blood is a cool band; In Flames, not so much. Let's hope they play last so you can leave.
  14. Trivium is basically Metallica-lite anyway. Anyway guys, you can stop talking about kiddie metal and get back on topic.
  15. [yt]I4poryDakX0[/yt] And just of kicks I'll post this arrangement of it: [yt]yY4ssFQ36Fc[/yt]
  16. Maudlin of the Well, Architecture in Helsinki, Suburban Kids With Biblical Names and System of a Down are all terrible, terrible names.
  17. Hey, mall metal can be fun sometimes.
  18. Since I'm currently a NEET, I'm going to bed at about 5:30 - 6:00 and waking up in the early afternoon. It's disgusting, but I can't seem to break it (right now).
  19. sbrideau2000, I think you kinda missed the point there. Also, I get 6.5mbps down, 448k up, at pretty much all times. Translates into about 850kB/s down, 50kB/s up. I would run a speed test but I'm downloading right now and I don't feel like pausing.
  20. I used to love that band about a year ago. Quite catchy and memorable, although that No End for Tomorrow album was a bit awful. Anamanaguchi - Blackout City. I've been getting into 8-bit recently.
  21. Awh, who is that? That picture is SUPER KAWAII. Yuki Chikudate, from the band Asobi Seksu. Protip: she's American. However, that doesn't stop her from being wonderfully cute.
  22. Happy ?/?/0?, fellow Touhou folk.
