  1. Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, wecollectskies, A Place to Bury Strangers, Pet Slimmers of the Year, Mouth of the Architect and Sleepmakeswaves are all pretty stupid. The better the music, the more moronic the name.

I am sure quite a few guys would be very happy being 6 feet tall. I'm 6'1" and I detest it. My back is bad enough without being this tall.

    Electronic Music

Kashiwa Daisuke, World's End Girlfriend, Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Portishead, Burial... Hell, I've even got a huge soft spot for hard trance, dubstep and drum and bass. Also, Eluvium. There's so much good electronic music that people are missing out on because they're getting worked up over Justice and Daft Punk.
  5. Yeah. If you have a solid-state you have no chance.
  6. Thumbs up for Lian-Li. I should tell my stepdad about this.
  7. Yeah, the resolution is completely [cabbage]e. I would sooner use 1024*768 over that. But otherwise, there's nothing I can add that laura hasn't already been over - good for the price and should do what you want it to do.
  8. Portishead - Humming Off Roseland NYC Live.
  9. Like everyone in the post-rock scene worships those guys as far as I've seen, are they really worth all the praise? The band name really turns me off lol. Red Sparowes - At the Soundless Dawn (album) They're the definitive post-rock band. Also, thumbs up for Red Sparowes. Sunny Day Real Estate's album Diary.
  10. I dunno, the general consensus of other places I hang about is to get a Gigabyte or an MSI rather than an ASUS. Just avoid nForce, take it from my experience.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdX_V4h4zH4 Post-Nothing is my AotY '09. So Sonic Youth. So Smashing Pumpkins. So awesome.

    Playlists.

DarkDude, you could get hold of an older iPod and install Rockbox on it if you feel like it. I'm pretty sure the Rockbox firmware offers FLAC support; otherwise I don't know any large capacity players that support FLAC off the top of my head. Like Lateralus, I'm more into albums. Sometimes I'll just set foobar2000 to read all my music and put it on random if I'm in the mood for that.

    Race

Anaemically pale. I'm that really sickly-looking tone of white.
  14. I would've waited and gotten a PC with a 5xxx series card. Otherwise it's quite a fine build, just be aware that ASUS motherboards aren't exactly known for their stability so don't be surprised if it starts going wrong. Driver compatibility and everything should be absolutely fine for youe hardware. As for what programs I use, I'll give you a short list:
  15. One of my animefriends is nagging me to watch this. Maybe I should after all...
  16. Bound to trick a few people. I've always wondered what computing would be like if people who coded malware used their talents constructively instead of destructively.
  17. The requirements are pretty much the same. If you can run Vista, you can run 7.

idk, I've had some good brauts at Kebab stands in Germany. But Germany is the kebab capital of the world. English kebabs... are not so hot.

^ is precisely why I avoid Doner kebabs like the plague. Food poisoning once in a lifetime is enough. I don't trust those shady kebab joints.
  20. Scenario: suffering from intense pressure similar to what I went through in 2007. Solution: this time around, I would know how to deal with it. I would make it through without cracking a second time.
