Nice! Demetori - 幻視の夜 ～ Ghostly Eyes

5 Centimeters per Second. Truly a very touching and moving film. It was a lot different to what I had imagined it being, though. I was expecting it to be a lot more dramatic and unbelieveable, but it was painfully realistic and it really struck a chord with me.

It made me give their earlier albums a better listen - and it eventually got to the point where MPP felt so one-dimensional that I found it unlistenable, especially compared to Feels or Sung Tongs. The new EP blends the older, folky Animal Collective with the newer, poppier sound and it gets the balance between the two styles pefect.
