  1. I think the whole scoring thing is biased; no real point in taking it seriously. Would be interesting if proper musicians did it though, I'm sure most people know a few European countries that are home to legendary bands. But no, they normally choose boring/painful songs. Who actually decides what songs go through anyway?
  2. Check out Camden. You can buy lots of cool stuff there plus sometimes you'll be able to haggle. Look for a shop called Cyberdog, it's cool. Museums may sound unappealing but I do recommend checking them out. As has been previously said, the National History Museum is amazing.
  3. I think it's the time you actually spend in combat. Doesn't decharge when you are just holding it.
  4. Yay. I love metal so much more when it has decent vocals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pultHqVOis
  5. Fremennik - Jiklak Farstrider. TzHaar - JalYt-Ket-Gull. I dislike this, too common. They could give us more variety but I guess that would be unnecessary.
  6. This. I dislike being unable to choose what I am born as IRL. Hmm. Orb of Oculus please? Ooh ooh I know, ghostly robes + shadow sword
  7. For me it was world 71 because my friend was using it just before I got membership so I decided I'd go with that world. More recently, however, I've moved to world 99 since it's full of TIFers. Also because I have made too many enemies who have the homeworld of 71 and that world is being overrun by stereotypical pures. Whether or not a world has a theme doesn't interest me much, but I'll use the themed world for an activity if every other world is deserted (Trouble Brewing, for example).
  8. Judging by his original look before he gained amazing power, he probably was one of Lucien's dark warriors and betrayed him. I think that's also indicated in the dialogue with the three spies? Not sure.

    Maturity

Nvm, I was mainly talking about people claiming to be mature rather than mature people. I don't think it's bad to be mature or immature, although people often make out that immaturity is a bad thing. Too much of it, maybe, but being childish is fine. You shouldn't be too mature either, just be happy and get on with life. Maybe it's people who try to be mature to look down on others that are the real immature ones.

    Maturity

I was originally going to post my strong views against mature people but I'd rather not attract their oppressive gaze. Well I have to pretend to be mature when I'm around people whom I value the judgement of. A way of seeking approval, I suppose. Always seen it as being too down-to-Earth because you realise as you grow older that the world is a pretty boring place and there's no Santa. I find maturity to be kind of boring, to be honest. For example not being allowed to laugh at sexual things? Please. I'm here to make the most of my life, I won't let some killjoys ruin it for me just because they think life is important. Maybe I'll edit this when I can think of something better to say but generally I'm saying that maturity is fine; my issue is that it's not necessarily going to contribute to much happiness. That's what I think of MENTAL maturity anyway. Physical maturity can't be helped so it's not something you should criticise, really.
  12. I've always thought of it to be over-glorifying your own species when you believe that it's the only intelligent life in the universe, oh how humans think they're so great with their fancy omnipotent creator which they can't agree on the existence of. Slightly more seriously though, my personal opinion is that either life on Earth would be long-extinct by the time they arrive, or, if they're nearby then maybe they would be excited that they found intelligent life and possibly want to preserve us as the universe isn't likely to be densely populated with all the uninhabitable planets. On that, perhaps they won't be capable of living in our atmosphere or gravity anyway. But I think it differs from the situation with the Native Americans in that the Europeans were only being nasty to other human beings and not a completely unrelated fascinating new civilisation of weird creatures. It probably wouldn't apply. I hope and expect that Hawking was joking, I just can't see it happening like it does in the movies. But anyway, our primitive race cannot comprehend such things in a complicated universe because we can't even agree with each other because of lack of evidence on all sides; we'd be better off waiting to see what happens or doesn't happen. Life goes on and we can't be any better prepared for what amazing things may happen in a distant future.
  13. Teleother Lumbridge  Or maybe prayer, it never seems to work normally.
  14. Mentally, someone who doesn't wish to have a mundane life like many others (Make a 2.4 family, conform to gender stereotype, etc; That stuff is kinda old fashioned.) Eccentricity is nice. Physically, what would generally be considered attractive but more... Quirky. Also, I have found people that I know more attractive than models that I do not know for some reason.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ztEGcRF80 Mmm, good to learn on guitar.
  16. Yup, as far as I can tell (so far) this applies to the luminescent icefiend, stomp, and sagittare. Btw you notice that after you get stomp down to 1/3 health he starts doing a STUPID ammount of damage? He was hitting me for EXACTLY 247 damage constantly like my armor wasn't even there. I noticed this also; for me it was 240 damage. Some kind of berserk mode? Really annoying combined with the fact that the rocks can block lodestones off too. Should be an option to mine them or climb over...
  17. When its at 1lp it goes into a last ditch icicle drop attack as a last ditch attempt to try to kill you. it is possible to kill him before he goes into that phase it happened to me once, probably a glitch I havent been able to reproduce it. I've noticed that with a lot of bosses there is probably a set lifepoints level for each time they use their special attack. I found this most obvious when killing Stomp.
  18. Yes I have, definitely. I suppose since I'm poor in outer-RS yet can easily get all the cool stuff other people can in the dungeons, I feel like I'm equal to or even better than other players. I can rely on my skills to conquer things rather than relying on luck or a corrupt economy. At the moment I find everything else mundane, which is unusual for me when new skills are introduced. Despite all this, once I can get a good reward it may help me become more powerful outside of Daemonheim and I'll have less use for this skill. I'm even aiming for certain combat levels just so I can use more of the high-tier equipment in Daemonheim. Because it's far less boring to train than your average skill as it incorporates minigame-esque gameplay, I'd imagine quite a few players who play for fun and to co-operate with other players rather than just grinding and showing off would enjoy this skill. The rest of Runescape is already receding into greyness for me.
  19. What I struggle with on this subject is, when does a developing human actually become sentient i.e. immoral to kill? Would killing an early fetus be the equivalent to killing a plant? I support abortion but I don't support murder and they kind of conflict...
  20. There are a few advantages that other animals have. Some things may be resistant to heat or electricity and it might be useful if a human took these qualities. You could create different types of humans designed for different jobs. A silly example would be a roach-man working in a nuclear power plant. But I don't see anything like that happening if the morality-obsessed people get their say and of course some things may go horribly wrong. I think the best way we can go further as an intelligent species is by dabbling in the more complex reaches of science otherwise the world wouldn't change much.
  21. A bit old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU_os-X8wkQ
